In the late afternoon, Inside the Frost family Palace, Kent sat before the dining table. Several rare varieties of foods were placed before him.
After his victories, the frost family already began seeing him as a potential son-in-law, who can elevate their status. That’s why they are taking good care of his food and living arrangements inside the palace.
Unlike other royal family members, Kent didn’t like the procedure of servants serving food to him. He will fill his plate with what he wants, sit in one place and eat alone. Usually king Ragnar or Lily will sit with him while eating.
Today, King Ragnar went outside for a gathering of Kings. As the blood duel is coming, all the kings were gathered to discuss the outcome and try to form some underhand deals before the beginning of the blood duel.
As Lilly still didn’t come back from her training session, Kent was alone and eating peacefully in the dining hall.
While he was in the middle of eating, Lily approached the dining hall with a serious face. After intense training, she just washed her body and came directly to the dining room. Her milky white face has a little pink hue and her tender skin glowed under the lights of the dining Hall.
Without saying a word, she sat at a right angle to Kent and turned the food plate with a loud thud. She started showing her frustration over Kent on the food bowls.
Kent closely observed her every action and didn’t speak a word. She continued to make loud noises while touching other utensils, foot bowls and picking food randomly with an angry face.
She sat back on the chair with a loud creeking noise and began eating with a stoic face.
“Why do you look so angry? Are you upset because of something?” Kent finally asked while pouring a wine glass for her.
She gritted her teeth in anger and replied, “I am not angry. Why should I be angry? Everyone has their own important works. I should mind my own business.” Lily replied in a hurried tone while staring at her food.
Kent smiled after seeing her childish behaviour. “Are you upset because I didn’t participate in the Trident Summit?” Kent asked with a questioning look.
“No… why should I care what you do with your life? I’m just angry at myself.” she replied curtly while avoiding Kent’s face.
“Stop behaving like a child. You just did the right thing. Don’t blame yourself for holding back your army in the last two trials of the trident summit.” KEnt said while staring at her.
In the next second, tears filled in Lily’s eyes as Kent spoke about the exact thing, which was worrying her. [Incase of Kent’s absnece in her life, this trident summit would be a big disaster for her family. She is worried that how she alone will lead Frost army in future.] Lily immediately stood up from her chair and decided to leave as she can’t face Kent with her teary face.
Kent immediately stood-up and grabbed her arm. With a quick pull, Lily came close to him face-to-face.
Kent, while staring into her eyes, adjusted the front hair-strands of Lily to her ear side. “Look at me… I’m only thinking of your safety. Don’t you feel that?”
Lily, with her vision obstructed by the tears, continued to stare at Kent with surprised eyes. She was completely taken aback back by his sudden action.
As their eyes met for a brief second, Kent leaned forward and directly pressed his lips against her.
Lily’s eyes went wide as she never expected this warm and sudden gesture from Kent.
“Tung”
Ghule, the head servant, came at the wrong time and directly dropped all the utensils in his hand after seeing the intimate scene of Kent and Lily.
Both Lily and Kent were separated in a flash and sat back in their seats in hurry.
Lily’s cheeks became red as she stared down at her food and smiled Shyly.
But Kent was completely in a different state. He did not understand why he kissed her suddenly out of impulse. It was not his own intention to force a kiss on Lily. But he felt a sudden impulse out of nowhere.
“He he he he he…” a sheepish laughter came from the soul space as the God of mischief began laughing with a proud look.
Kent immediately understood what happened and tried to explain things to Lily. But with a shy smile Lily left the dining hall in hurried steps.
The head servant Ghule apologised loudly before running-away from the dining hall.
Kent sighed in despair as he couldn’t explain things to Lily now. He definitely knew that the kiss drama will spread throughout the Palace by evening.
While cursing, the gog of mischief angrily Kent left the dining hall.

Usually, the blood duel will happen in the training grounds of the Royal family palace. But due to recent events, the emperor has already closed the entire Palace from every corner.
So, the Palace masters began making arrangements for the blood duel in the outside tournament ground at the centre of the city.
