“This is pretty good!” Dio said as he sipped the Black Widow Poison Juice. It was a sweet blueberry juice blended with soda water. It was naturally very sweet but did not taste artificial. It was expected as the love for sweet was in the rage in the USA!
Furthermore, the people who survived the catastrophe wanted a little bit more happiness and satisfaction in their lives, so the sweet that paralyse their taste bud was all they craved for these days. To be honest, Dio wasn’t really fond of sweetness, but occasionally, a standard American meal was alright.
Just as Dio took a slice of Green Pizza that had the Hulk’s image on top, Natasha suddenly smirked and laughed at Dio out of nowhere.
“What happened?” Dio asked as he took a bite of the pizza. Natasha then took out a small makeup mirror from her handbag and handed it to him.
“Oh my god, this world already turned for the worse! The infamous Black Widow goes out with a makeup box instead of a gun!” Dio teasingly said as he took the mirror out of Natasha’s hand.
“You really want to die, huh? Careful now, Black Widow poison was known to have no cure!” Natasha said annoyedly. Dio just shrugged and opened the mirror to look at his own face. He was confused as he saw there was nothing wrong with his face. It was still as handsome as ever!
Then he looked up to Natasha again and saw that she pointed to her mouth, meaning there was something in Dio’s mouth. He looked at the mirror again and instantly froze as he realised what Natasha was laughing about.
“Dr. Banner, I think I need an explanation here!” Dio called Bruce Banner annoyedly. He pointed to his black teeth immediately as Bruce arrived at his table. In fact, it wasn’t just his teeth. His lips and tongue were all blackened from sipping the evil juice earlier.
When Banner saw it, he also laughed at it and just patted Dio on the shoulder. Banner’s laughter was a booming laugh that could be heard from outside, so it was very embarrassing for Dio!
Dio then immediately took out a paper towel and wiped his lips without saying a word, but he immediately realised that it wasn’t something that could be cleaned that easily!
“It wouldn’t come off that easily, but don’t worry, you can clean it off with a bit of lemon juice. Ah, you should consider ordering Thor’s Envy drink too. It has a lot of lemons!” Banner said as he tried to hold back his laughter.
“No, thanks!” Dio said decisively. He could imagine Thor’s Envy drink was so sour that it would paralyse his taste bud even before seeing it firsthand!
“Are you sure? You will definitely like it!” Banner said with a smile on his face. Dio wasn’t keen on answering him back, so he just flipped a bird in Banner’s face as his form of rejection! Banner continued to laugh for a while before he moved on to a different table, serving another customer.
Had this taken place before the catastrophe, every civilian around here would be scared and run to safety, but now, it seemed they were starting to adapt to the heroes again. However, Dio couldn’t see himself doing something like that. He still has a hard time adapting to the current situation of the world!
Dio then tasted two other dishes, the Invincible Hulk Mustard Pizza and Thor Weak Chicken Wings. The pizza was unexpected as it was spicy from the combination of Wasabi and Ghost Pepper. Normal people would definitely have a hard time consuming this kind of food!
The chicken wings were a little bit funny in a way. There was Thor’s image delicately handcrafted in the plate while both arms were replaced by two fried chicken wings. The dish wasn’t that tasty, but it showed how close Banner was to Thor after this whole ordeal!
But that was it! The food might be a little bit nostalgic, but it wasn’t something that Dio would order again anytime soon!
Still, although the fried chicken still tasted the same as any other fried chicken, it wasn’t bad at all. That was also the reason why Dio kept eating the fried chicken in delight. Dio then looked at Natasha again. She already ate the most part of Steve’s Classic USA Shield that she ordered, and it seemed the taste was to her liking.
But the last two foods that they ordered were absolutely amazing!
Fried Iron Man was actually a cookie shaped like an Iron Man’s Mask, and it was fried instead of baked. However, it came with different shapes from Mark 1 to Mark 50! Dio was actually surprised that Banner and Vision could get the license to use these shapes as Dio recalled that Tony patented all of his creation!
Dio observed for a while, and he noticed that every child that came to this restaurant ordered Fried Iron Man, but the most curious part was that the child who ordered this food didn’t exactly eat it right away as if they were reluctant to destroy such masterpiece!
But as Dio watched Natasha eat the Iron Man’s head without care, Dio felt a little bad for Tony.
Then the Asgard Big Bang, Dio was a little surprised because it was the most delicious food he had tried so far in this restaurant. He couldn’t help but wonder whether Thor was fooled by Banner and Vision to have this food by his name. It was definitely worth more than some crate of beer!
Maybe if he could come here again in the future, he could order the Avenger’s Family Bucket!
