Just outside of Earth, another uninvited guest arrived! Thanos sat on his throne in his second mothership, observing the earth from afar while listening to the reports of his men. There were two new fresh scars on his body, one on his lower abdomen, which wasn’t healed just yet, while the other one was on his right shoulder. Although the bleeding had stopped, Thanos still wasn’t comfortable with it.
These new injuries were a gift from the Macrophage King during their fight in an attempt to get his hands on the Power Stone! Still, Thanos was fine. Due to his Eternal’s lineage, his endurance was off the chart!
“Our men reported that the Woman in Black has managed to secure Three Infinity Stones, but she has not reported back just yet! she is now in a country called Wakanda, battling someone over a private matter there. Corvus Glaive held his blade as he waited for orders from Thanos. After Supergiant, Proxima Midnight, and Ebony Maw’s death, the only member left on the Black Order was him and Black Dwarf as the original member, plus Hela and the Woman in Black as the rookie.
Corvus Glaive knew that Hela and Dark Crystal weren’t joining the Black Order out of loyalty towards Thanos. Furthermore, Corvus Glaive really hated Hela for killing Proxima Midnight, his wife! If Thanos didn’t fancy Hela’s power and wanted to use her for the future, Corvus Glaive would have cut her head off by now!
Now, it didn’t matter. As long as the Woman in Black secured the Three Infinity Stones, the two women would lose their value, and he would be able to get his revenge soon! Of course, Corvus Glaive had his own dissatisfaction towards Thanos because of this matter! Furthermore, Thanos has received so many injuries lately that he didn’t seem like the most powerful being in the universe anymore!
As Corvus Glaive saw the injured Thanos, the thought that Thanos possibly died at someone else’s hands crossed his mind. So, why couldn’t he become the person that killed Thanos himself? But as Corvus Glaive saw the glimmer of the three Infinity Stones sitting on the Infinity Gauntlet on Thanos’ hands, he suppressed his killing intent immediately! He realised that he wouldn’t be able to defeat Thanos no matter how injured Thanos was since the Infinity Stones were too powerful!
Thanos slammed the armrest of his throne impatiently. “Are you sure that the woman can’t slay his enemy quicker? That woman wasn’t exactly a saint, she should be able to kill anyone if she wants to! So, why would she take her time now, in such a weak planet too!” Thanos said begrudgingly.
“We have received some image from that planet, but now we have lost contact with our unit. We couldn’t figure out exactly what happened there. I have sent more people to the planet surface to inquire about it, Master.” The messenger said nervously. Thanos immediately checked the image that the Chitauri had collected before their destruction and saw the image of Dark Crystal fighting against Dio and the other Avengers.
“This guy is on Earth!” Thanos said as he suddenly became excited once again. The image of Dio filled his screen as he stared murderously at the image. Thanos also saw the Pegasus that Dio used, and the thought of seizing it for himself immediately crossed Thanos’ mind.
He knew for sure that the Bounty Hunter that threw the Power Stone to the Worm King was the guy he was staring at intensely right now! Thanos knew that the situation would be more exciting soon!
“Notify everyone to get ready for battle! We have to clean up that woman’s mess right now!” Thanos said as he laughed excitedly.
“Yes, Master!” The messenger said as he hurriedly did Thanos’ bidding.
“That woman would be useless as soon as she returned with the Three Infinity Stones, but before that, don’t hinder her path!” Thanos said as Corvus Glaive walked towards the door.
Corvus Glaive immediately stood still as Thanos seemed to see through his grudge against Hela. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to plan his vendetta right now as Thanos would immediately see through it!
He knew that he had to comply. Otherwise, Thanos would take it as insubordination and kill him on the spot!
So, Corvus Glaive nodded his head and left without saying anything else!

At this point, Dio was in a predicament! He had to admit that he underestimated the woman’s power. The Aether Storm wasn’t just a normal storm. It was like an entity on its own! Dio tried to use the remainder of [Oasis] to dive back to the ground, but after entering the storm, he found that the ground under the Eye of the Storm couldn’t be affected by [Oasis]’s power!
The energy of the Mind Stone and the Time Stone was also mixed in place. Not only did the time flow weirdly in this place, but Dio also constantly heard someone’s voice on his ear. He tried to shut off his thought from the outside, but it was hard to do against so much distraction inside the Eye of the Storm!
Over time, negative emotions erupted in Dio’s mind one after another! Anger, Despair, Desire, Sadness, Grief, and Frustration mixed into one, and Dio was having a hard time controlling it! Dio thought that his will was strong enough to resist any mental attack, but it was corroded by the second as Dark Crystal’s mental attack was persistent!
Dio’s thoughts became irrational. He even had a hard time keeping up the rhythm of his Hamon Breathing Technique! Dio knew that once he failed to maintain the Hamon Energy around his body, he would be vulnerable to any of Dark Crystal’s attacks!
Another distraction got in the way, and Dio began to breathe erratically! The Hamon Energy barrier that he was trying so hard to maintain immediately stopped! The consequence of this was his skin getting ripped by the storms! If he didn’t summon the [White Album] in time to defend himself, he might be torn to pieces!
So, he no longer controlled the output of his Hamon Energy and condensed the [White Album]’s White Armour to the limit so that the armour wouldn’t be destroyed easily by the storm! At the same time, after reluctantly suppressing his emotions, he calmed himself down and began stabilising the rhythm of his Hamon Breathing Technique!
He created another Hamon Energy Barrier around the [White Album]’s armour just in case something bad happened!
His situation surely already improved for the better, but he didn’t want to underestimate the woman again since he was already in a dangerous spot because of that earlier. Now it was much harder for Dio to win the battle against Dark Crystal, but he knew that he ought to end things quickly as his Hamon Energy was depleting from maintaining the barrier and [White Album] in the midst of all this chaos inside the Aether’s Eye of the Storm!
