Dio couldn’t bring himself to tell Wanda the truth as she would just worry more than necessary. Now, all he had to do was defeat the woman and secure her Infinity Stones before Thanos got his hands on it. He only needed one chance with a clear shot to take out the woman once and for all!
“Come on out! Don’t you want to kill me! I will grant you an opportunity to fight me one on one, and no one will intervene in our duel!” Dio shouted to force the woman out. The situation was calm, and as he expected, the woman wouldn’t attack those who were retreating from battle as it was too troublesome for her.
She knew that she couldn’t deal with all of the Avengers at the same time as she had already experienced it once before. So, Dio was on the right track as he stayed behind to fight the woman alone while everyone else retreated.

You will not be so lucky this time, Dark Crystal!” Dio said coldly. When Dio shouted Dark Crystal’s name, the sky immediately turned dim, and the atmosphere suddenly changed. Obviously, Dio’s word angered her!
“You don’t deserve to spout that name! I will kill you in the worst way possible!” Dark Crystal shouted furiously. The storm cloud that was caused by the Aether began to expand, and the storm immediately brewed, causing a tornado that swept everything up! If this storm were left alone, the entire Wakanda would be destroyed before the storm swept the rest of the world!
Fortunately, this was not the day when the Nine Realms were in line. Otherwise, the Nine Realms would be affected by this storm as well. Dio knew that he had to get into the centre of the storm and kill Dark Crystal to stop all of this. Dio then patted Galaxy’s neck as he wanted her to stay behind as he traveled through the storm to kill Dark Crystal since Dio wasn’t confident that he could keep Galaxy safe inside the storm.
Galaxy was clearly unhappy about Dio’s decision, but she knew there was nothing she could do to change Dio’s mind from the look on Dio’s face. She knew no matter how hard she threw a temper tantrum, Dio wouldn’t change his mind. Still, Dio assured Galaxy that he would immediately call for her if he were in absolute danger.
Dio really didn’t expect to encounter Crystal’s dark personality here. She even became one of Thanos’ Black Order and did his bidding to collect all the Infinity Stones! But one thing for sure was that Dio really couldn’t understand the villain’s way of thinking! He couldn’t understand why Dark Crystal wanted to kill him now when all Dio did in the past was free Crystal from her dark grip.
In Dio’s perspective, Dark Crystal should be thankful that she was still alive after their battle as he really planned to kill Dark Crystal to save Crystal from her grip. Although Dio knew how traumatizing it was to experience death, she shouldn’t be seeking revenge like this!
But it didn’t matter now as everything must come to an end. This time, Dio would make sure that Dark Crystal is dead forever! Dio dragged the [Reaper’s Gaze] on his hands and walked towards the storm without any hesitation. He used his Hamon Defence to the extreme, blocking any harmful object that came his way.
At the same moment, an identical black crystal that he saw earlier began to show itself and went straight towards Dio. But Dio already saw this trick once before, so it wouldn’t work on him again! He took a stance to slice the black crystal before it could hit him, but suddenly the black crystal transformed into a wolf. But still, Dio faced his adversaries with a calm demeanor. It was all because he knew that nothing could stop him from advancing towards the eye of the storm! Dio immediately released his murderous aura and immediately launched an attack towards the wolves, but clearly, he wasn’t fast enough as the wolves and crows began to surround him.

At the same time, Steve and the others that returned to Wakanda’s Royal Palace were standing at the top of the palace, gazing at the battlefield from a distance. They saw a flash of light that tried to consume the dark storm where they left Dio earlier, meaning that Dio was still fighting against the woman!
“Are we seriously not going to help him right now?” Quicksilver said frustratedly. It was unexpected coming from Quicksilver’s mouth, but everyone knew that Pietro was looking out for Dio out of respect towards Wanda.

“I believe him! since he said that he will come back to me, he will definitely do so!” Wanda said with a smile on her face. Wanda’s word seemed to make up Steve’s mind as he knew that he should trust Dio’s decision and wait for the result.
