In a magnificent palace, a bearded man was sitting on a high golden throne, holding his scepter whilst watching a graceful dancer swaying on the platform tediously. A beautiful maid was fanning the man gently as not to annoy the man while two other maids kneeled beside the throne while one was holding a jug of wine and the other was holding a plate of bountiful fruits. The man didn’t look satisfied at all until the palace’s door was opened, and two figures waltzed inside the palace unannounced.
“Loki! One of the two figures shouted. It was none other than Thor and Dio!
The bearded man on the throne was none other than Loki himself, disguised completely from head to toe! Thor was slightly annoyed that Loki was in disguise, but he wasn’t surprised as he knew that Loki enjoyed tricking people!
“Guards!” Loki shouted annoyedly. Twenty armed soldiers immediately rushed out of the door and stood in front of disguised Loki. “Drive these two mongrels out of my sight!” Loki shouted annoyedly.
“Yes, your majesty King of Gods!” The guards shouted in unison as they immediately walked towards Dio and Thor in order to kick them out of the palace.
“King of Gods? Your brother sure is crafty! How about I send your brother to the underworld first? That way, he can be your dad’s companion later!” Dio smiled at Thor tauntingly. Thor immediately frowned as he didn’t like the sound of that, but he was annoyed by Loki’s farce.
He ran to Earth and manipulated the humans to serve him like slaves, and now he claimed himself to be the King of Gods? Loki really had no manner! Did he only want the throne or the power that cams with it? Anyway, it wasn’t a good idea to let this shameless guy took over the throne!
Thor didn’t care about incoming guards and raised Mjolnir up in the air, creating an electric crackle that caused everyone to drop down to the floor frightenedly. The guards and the maids began to sob in some Egyptian dialect that Thor and Dio failed to understand, but clearly, the scene in front of them was so embarrassing!
Fortunately, Dio has upgraded the translator that he bought from Nova Corps earlier, so he could understand the dialect on Earth using the translator as his guide. As soon as he activated the translator, he immediately knew what these people were shouting and crying about.
“These people were pleading for you to forgive them, something about the thunder apocalypse. So, do you want to forgive them, o’ god of thunder?” Dio said sarcastically. Thor frowned as he was extremely embarrassed and just stared at Loki.
“Loki, let these people go! or you will face the consequences!” Thor coldly said as he spun his hammer. He knew that these people wouldn’t come to Loki’s rescue anymore, but they were still crying and annoyed Thor immensely. In fact, Loki also knew that normal people wouldn’t stand a chance against Thor, but it was funny to see the uncomfortable look on his brother’s face.
“Well, it’s all fun while it lasts!” Loki said, still in his disguise. Loki released his grip over these people’s minds, but they were confused and stayed at the throne room a little bit longer instead of running away. Thor frowned and created another electric crackle with Mjolnir to surprise everyone.
Once everyone left the palace, it was just Loki, Thor, and Dio in here. Loki then got rid of the disguise and showed his original appearance like nothing happened.
“What are you doing here? Don’t tell me that you want to shove me back in prison, Thor!” Loki leaned on his seat with a cold and annoyed demeanour. Dio was obviously annoyed by Loki’s arrogancy and thus tapped Thor’s shoulder to talk with him.
“Hey, can I slap him around first before you take him back to Asgard?” Dio asked hopefully.
“Well, don’t kill him! It’s fine as long as he is still conscious at the end of the day.” Thor said casually.
“That’s great!” Dio said as he walked towards Loki with a smirk plastered on his face. Loki immediately stood up as he sensed that something bad would happen to him.
“Don’t come near me! You have to need something from me if you come all the way here by yourself! So, stop there and tell me what you are after, or I will never cooperate with you!” Loki shouted to Thor. But Thor sighed and shook his head while Dio kept walking towards Loki menacingly. And as soon as Dio came close enough towards Loki, he immediately starts hitting Loki!
“Stop! I yield! Please! Stop hitting me! Thor, are you just going to stand there, watching this maniac hit your brother relentlessly?!” Loki shouted for Thor to come and save him.
“Aren’t you the King of Gods? We are just mongrels, aren’t we? So, why couldn’t you fight back? You won’t cooperate with us? Well, let us decide about that when I am done with you!” Dio said with a smirk still plastered on his face.
When Dio was satisfied, Loki was a mess on the floor after getting beaten up so much by Dio. His nose was bleeding, and his face was swollen.
“Now, we have something to discuss with you, so get up! Don’t waste any more time!” Dio said coldly. Loki immediately got up as he was afraid that Dio would hit him again, but nonetheless, he felt an intense hatred towards Dio right now. He also hated Thor at the moment as he just let an outsider like Dio pummel his brother without doing anything about it!
“Now, I come here to take you back to Asgard, but not to imprison you or harm you in any way! Father’s time is coming to an end, and he wants to see you at the end of his life, Loki.” Thor calmly said as he stared into his brother’s eyes.
“That is your father, not mine! I am just a fugitive there in Asgard. There is no way you would let me go again if I ever step back to Asgard! So, go back to Asgard without me!” Loki shouted angrily. “I have no place there in Asgard! Did you see me here? I am a god. No matter what I say, someone will always abide by it! Anyway, I won’t go back to Asgard ever again. I am going to live here all my life!” Loki said solemnly.
Loki always glanced at Dio while he was speaking as he was afraid Dio would jump him once more, but as he saw that Dio didn’t make any move, he let out a sigh of relief. He knew how dangerous Dio could be, so he had to stay vigilant!
