T’challa didn’t understand why Dio needed so much gold, but he still did as he was told and brought it over to Dio immediately.
Dio appreciated T’challa’s help and secluded himself to transfer all the gold to his phone. He immediately used the Gacha system, hoping to get another Stand or the Stand Arrow to evolve other Stands he currently had. Dio began to chant many proverbs and sayings that he found on the internet that were supposed to increase his luck! He could draw 2.000 times this time, so he hoped that he would get at least several Stands that might be useful in the future. However, the quality of the Stand that he got from the draws wasn’t satisfactory!
Dio got his hands on [Civil War], and he didn’t think it would be any good in the future as he didn’t need to guilt-trip someone to use the extent of the Stand’s ability! Furthermore, this Stand looked so disgusting to the point that those who were willing to use it just seemed sad and desperate!
He also got his hands on [Harvest], and it was a useless Stand in the current situation! [Harvest] might be able to multiply into a massive amount, but all of them were weak! Furthermore, Dio also got his hand on [Bastet]. This Stand probably had some use to it as Dio was thinking of pairing it with [Red Hot Chili Pepper]. Bastet could turn the enemy into a magnet that would attract many metallic things, and with [Red Hot Chili Pepper] that used electricity, the magnet should be able to enhance its ability!
Dio also had something for a long time that he never used before, and It was [Stand Furnace]. As its name suggested, its appearance was just like a normal furnace. Its purpose was to fuse two Stand Cards and gave birth to another Stand Card, but the new Stand Card would be randomly created from the Stand Pool in the game. It even had a small chance to produce a fully Evolved Stand from the fusion!
But it was already a problem on its own as its purpose was basically another type of gambling! But then again, he already had so many useless Stands at this point, so he might be using it in the near future! “I think I have to use this god damned forbidden item soon!” Dio said to himself with a frown on his face.
Dio immediately opened the [Stand Furnace] and tossed [Harvest] and [Civil War] into it before confirming his action. The furnace immediately let out a buzzing sound before spitting out a new Stand Card. But once he saw what Stand he got, his vision darkened! He got [The Lock] once again! This Stand would summon a lock to the targeted person’s heart if they felt guilty about something!
That time he used [The Lock] was when he fought Tony in the past, but it was just a one-time card that disappeared after use! But this time, it was a permanent card! It was completely useless!
“I will try it again!” Dio said as he tossed in [The Lock] and [Bastet] as he figured that he didn’t really need it. This was why he never used the furnace in the first place. His luck was already damned enough that he was terrified if he made another gamble like this. the furnace began buzzing once again before suddenly spat out another new Stand.
Dio immediately took the new Stand Card to see what he got. This time he got [Yellow Temperance]! It was a Stand that ate the enemy’s body and assimilated the enemy’s appearance with the user, allowing the user to use the enemy’s appearance whenever he wants. The Stand could also make the user’s body invulnerable to physical damage. “It’d be good if I don’t have [Khnum]!” Dio frowned. It was the truth as [Khnum] was way better than [Yellow Temperance] as Dio could just transform to anyone he thought of while [Yellow Temperance] had a condition that Dio had to meet before he was able to transform himself!
Dio was annoyed and frustrated at this point as he didn’t get anything useful. So, he used the furnace again, and this time, he tossed in [Yellow Temperance] and [Talking Head], the last Stand he got from today’s draw. [Talking Head] had the ability to attach itself to a human tongue and made the person lie in any way the user wanted. It was a parasitic Stand that Dio didn’t have any use in this world!
Dio was so disappointed in himself as he didn’t get anything decent in this draw. What good did [Talking Head] have? Should he use it to make people lie about him and then run for a presidential candidate? It had such a lame ability that anything else might be better!
Dio didn’t have any luck like always, but he really hoped that he could get his hands on a usable and strong Stand Card in his last fusion as he couldn’t afford another one after this.
The Furnace immediately spat out a new Stand Card, and Dio checked it instantly as he was really nervous about the outcome. After seeing what he got, Dio suddenly froze in place as he couldn’t believe what he just saw!
He brought the card closer to his eyes as he really couldn’t believe his luck could produce such a card right now. If he played a card game right now, there would be prompt sounds coming out that notified the player just got a super rare card!
Finally, after fusing 6 cards, Dio got something that would help him in the future. Furthermore, it was something that rivalled [The World]!
It was [King Crimson]! Dio really wanted to laugh maniacally for the first time in his life as he really didn’t expect to obtain something like this ever! Although he was only able to do it after 2.000 consecutive 10x Draw, it was worth it!
He didn’t even care about the Stand he just sacrificed as they were all useless for the upcoming fight anyway! [King Crimson] was undoubtedly worth more than all of them combined!
