The explosion caught everyone off guard, even Ronan, who was trying so hard to pierce Tivan’s barrier, was speechless as he looked at the fire that was dancing where Tivan’s mansion was supposed to be.
Ronan immediately realized that the situation was bad. He had a bad feeling from the explosion that happened just now.
Ronan knew that someone else must be targeting the Power Gem, and that was how this explosion occurred! Ronan then immediately gathered his men and immediately checked the situation inside Tivan’s mansion.
He immediately cleared the rubble as he tried to find the Power Gem. Tivan, who was still in a state of shock, immediately realized that he had to do the same thing!
But because he was late in assembling his men, by the time he gathered his men and walked over to his ruined mansion, Ronan has already found the Power Gem and currently holding into it with a precious glint on his eyes!
The purple energy that previously caused Karina the maid exploded now traveled through Ronan’s vein, but he didn’t seem to be in pain!
He looked at Tivan with a smirk on his face as he knew that he has already won! He now had the power of the gods!
When the Guardian of the Galaxy members arrived at the scene, they were shocked to see that the power gem didn’t destroy Ronan as it was supposed to!
Ronan immediately slammed the Power Gem into his Warhammer, making the hammer a media for him to control the Power Gem!
Others may not know, but Ronan knew that he couldn’t possibly control the Power Gem’s energy with his body alone. He still needed media to use it efficiently!
Ronan then slammed the tip of his hammer to the ground, creating a purple shockwave that traveled toward Tivan and his men.
Tivan then tried to protect himself with his barrier, but it was shattered in an instant as it couldn’t withstand the energy of the Power Gem!
“This is the power of the infinity gems! Now, there is no one on this galaxy that can stand in my way!” Ronan said with an evil laugh to boot.
“Let’s go! We leave for Xandar immediately! I will solve the 1.000-year worth of conflict between the Kree and Nova empire!” Ronan said to his men as he walked back towards his battleship!
“Thanos will be right after! I will come and take your place as the strongest in the entire universe!” Ronan said coldly as his face was filled with determination.
“You going to destroy my father after you destroy Xandar?” Nebula said as she walked closely to Ronan.
“Yes, are you trying to stop me?” Ronan asked coldly.
“Relax, if you really have the ability to kill him, I will help you destroy all Nova’s controlled planet!” Nebula said with a smirk on her face.
At this time, no one really knew what Nebula was really thinking, but Ronan paid it no mind as he got tunnel-visioned with destroying Xandar!
Ronan left towards Xandar immediately as he couldn’t wait any longer. Although this pointless war has depleted his force, Ronan didn’t care as he had the Power Gem with him!
On the other hand, Tivan was slumped as he looked at his destroyed mansion.
Gamora and the others were staring at Ronan’s departing battleship with horror as they knew that his cruelty would know no bounds with the help of the Power Gem!
Dio, however, saw this opportunity to earn some extra money! He approached the slumping Collector as he smirked triumphantly.
“This is so terrible! Do you want me to avenge you?” Dio said casually as he showed himself to Collector and the Guardian of the Galaxy.
Gamora was surprised the moment she turned around to check whose voice that was because the voice belonged to an earthling.
“Human! What can you do?” Tivan said with a disheartened expression on his face. “You see, all my prized collection was destroyed! What Asgard has entrusted me to keep was gone! I will personally inform Odin of this matter!” Tivan said with a sigh.
“I don’t care about that! my job was only to deliver the goods at that time, so whether it was missing or whatever, was no longer my problem anymore!” Dio said with a smirk on his face. “This time, I come here to get my hands on the Yaka Metal!” Dio said casually.
“You are in luck! After our first meeting, I know that you will come back to me to get your hands on that metal so, I left some of it in another place!” Tivan said with a sigh, he never thought something like this would happen, but still, he never intended to keep the Yaka Metal there, to begin with.
“So, knowing that you have what I want, what do you want for exchange? I am not short of stars coin if you want money!” Dio said crudely as he knew he needed the upper hands on the negotiation.
“I can get you Ronan’s head if you really want it!” Dio said with a smirk on his face.
Tivan paused for a minute as he started to wonder whether Dio could provide Ronan’s head to him.
“You realized that Ronan was in possession of a gem that could destroy an entire civilization with one swing, right?” Tivan asked curiously.
“Chill, it doesn’t matter to me! But I need more than Yaka Arrow as a reward if Ronan’s head is what you were after!” Dio said while he was still smirking towards the Collector.
“Sure! If you can provide me with Ronan’s head, I will give the Yaka Metal to you with another big gift waiting!” Tivan said as he laughed sarcastically.
“Then, deal! I hope you keep your words!” Dio said casually. Dio didn’t have to make this deal with Tivan as he would kill Ronan regardless of the deal! But it won’t hurt to get his hands on some extra items while he was at it!
