Silva listened to what she said. It answered some things but laid many new questions in his mind, so he looked at her and asked.
“So the dark dragons, they were made without limit? Their growth could not be stopped?”
She nodded her head in response. “Exactly, their growth could never be stopped. They could rise and rise and rise. But the issue was that they didn’t know about this.
The dark dragons felt as though they were simply a race that surpassed the other races, held tight to serve the demons—that was what they thought.
They didn’t know that they had the ability to rise and become stronger than even the same demons that they served.
And so they allowed themselves to be limited by their own mindset. Their own belief dwarfed how far they could grow.
If this continued, I would never be free. I would never be able to create a being that would save me. I went into thinking, pondering solutions through the wars and all,” she said and then looked into the distance. There was a look of remorse and pain in her eyes. She then turned to look at Silva, placed her hands on him, and then vanished again.
When they appeared, they stood at the site of a great war—tens of millions of beings fighting in a very vast land. Humans, elves, and all races, demons, and celestials flew in the sky, locked in battle.
“This was the peak of the battle. Everything had taken a turn that I didn’t want or expect. I could not wipe away the demon or celestial race, so I had to do what I had to do. I created the sub-dimensions of heaven and hell.
And in those two places, I locked away the demons and the celestials. Now, this part is where it gets tricky and serious, Silva. I pray you will listen closely.
There existed eight continents, each one carrying life of all races, but these continents were massive. I saw them as lifelines to do what I wanted to do.
So I separated the continents, putting the void between them. The void was a creation of my want for emptiness between the continents.
My desire for that gave birth to the void that exists between each continent. And also gave birth to a being I am sure you have seen,” she said, and then the scene changed to an empty space with moonlight and a figure standing—the same figure Silva had fought with.
“This creature is the void, and he stays in the void, wandering endlessly, waiting for the man that will come to a certain realization, and that is that this world is incomplete.
When a person has that thought and it begins to lay roots in their mind, Void comes and takes away that thought and the memories.

For thousands of years now, Void has managed to keep that status quo. Because of him, the eight continents have never met.
Now, I know you’ll be wondering why I would do such a thing and also about the fact that Order did nothing to stop me,” she said and looked at him.
“Not really. I’ve come to understand that the workings of Order and how he does his things are not a simple right-and-wrong matter. It’s deeper than that,” Silva said.
“Exactly! You are getting it now. Order does not care for right and wrong. All he cares about is the survival of our universe.
At every given instance, he is running an infinite amount of information and data, processing all that is happening at every given time.
He is running the simulations, trying to know what to allow and what to stop. Whenever a single factor in his simulations seems like a threat to the universe, he moves to stop it, to nip it in the bud.
Why he was against me at first was simple. I created demons and celestials with the blood of a god, which means if they tried hard enough, many of them would reach the status of godhood.
As he is Order, he would have to give them that status, but their presence is contradictory to his process of becoming gods. This would create a lot of parallel conflicts against himself.
That’s why he wanted to end them immediately after, but I stepped in and was able to sway him. Natural-born gods are tied to Order whether we want it or not, and that gives us a certain amount of say, especially when it comes to our world.
I managed to get Order to not destroy my world, but his condition was that I do not interact with the beings I have created. I could interact with my world, I could interact with other things, but not those beings I had created.
And the reason was because Order wanted to make sure that I would not be able to make those beings aware of their potential.
Order didn’t want it to be plausible that I show or even hint at their potential. He wanted the celestials and the demons to be kept in the dark about it.
It was the same thing with the dark dragons. I removed their limitation, and that means their race could rise to become gods or more.
So, in his infinite calculations and processes, he saw that the dark dragons would be a threat, and in honesty, they actually became a threat.
But we are getting to that. There is still a lot that came long before that, and all of it is tied to the experiments that I did with the eight continents.”
“You have spoken of the experiment on repeat now, but you have yet to even tell me a bit of what it is or how it went,” Silva said.
“I know. I’m trying to find the best way to explain this. There exist eight heavens and eight hells, just as there exist eight continents,” Ophelia said.
Silva heard that, and immediately, a confused look appeared on his face. “What did you say?” he asked.
