The man got up on his feet after hitting the wall, and his colleague also seemed ready to fight. They both pulled out their weapons—a dagger and a sword.
“You bloody bastard, I don’t know who you are or what you want here, but I’m going to make sure I skin you alive,” the thin man said in rage and rushed at Silva.
Silva didn’t move until the last moment. He sent a powerful kick into the man’s chest, sending him flying again and slamming into the walls.
“You bloody assholes touched someone you shouldn’t have,” Silva said. He walked deeper into the house, and with every step, a rumble could be felt.
The second man saw how easily Silva tossed his friend. His immediate thought was to beg, but he could feel the bloodlust coming from Silva, and he knew what genuine bloodlust was like.
He knew for a fact that Silva was not there to play with them or show them any mercy—he was there to kill them.
So he had to at least fight and try to survive this. He was an experienced fighter, after all. He would not allow Silva to simply bully him. He charged at Silva with his sword pulled, coming in for a slash from the top.
Silva simply stepped to the side and sent a kick to his gut.
The man arched upward in the air before falling to the ground. He struggled to breathe from just one kick.
“You know, I have to thank both of you. I was thinking of where I’d be keeping you to torture after I found you, but you went ahead and made it easy for me, creating the perfect conditions for me to torture the living hell out of you,” Silva said.
Tendrils slowly came out of the ground and wrapped around both men, carrying them before Silva.
He stared at them writhing and struggling to break free, but nothing was working for them.
“Please, I beg you, we didn’t do anything. If you want money, we can give it to you,” the thin man said, but before he could finish all his begging, a tendril stabbed into his eye. Blood sprayed in all directions.
“Arghhhhhhh! You bloody shit!” he screamed in pure agony.
“So you think lying to me will help you? You said you didn’t do anything? You didn’t hurt anyone?” Silva asked.
Another tendril stabbed into the man’s second eye. He screamed as loud as he could, but their own pre-installed voice-sealing formation kept the sound inside.
“What the fuck did we do to you? This is the first time we have met! The first time!” the man screamed in pain.
He writhed more and more, but he couldn’t even move a little. The tendrils held him tightly.
Silva pulled out a healing potion and force-fed the man. The healing potion immediately kicked in, and the man’s eyes healed within seconds.
“I have a thousand of those healing potions. Do you know what that means?” Silva asked.
Both men shivered uncontrollably. They could already tell what Silva had planned for them.
“You killed a kid today. You toyed with him, remember? Used him like he was some sort of toy. You made quite the artwork with him.
He had dreams, aspirations. He wanted to be an adventurer. But because of your greed and sadistic nature, you killed him and took the coins as well.
You turned his body into a canvas for your blade, marking him all around and cutting pieces, letting him bleed.
You targeted the parts of his body that would make him bleed even more, but you didn’t stop there. You also used brute force—kicks and punches—you did it all.
For only a kid that was twelve years old. You did all that to a kid who could barely defend himself.
Now, honestly, I’ve never cared for what people did. Even if you killed a thousand babies, I would have no issues with that.
But if you touch one baby I have taken a liking to, I’ll make sure I show you hell.
And as it stands now, I have taken a liking to Kalif and his sister Ranin. But you killed Kalif, and now you have broken the innocent Ranin.

And as the men shivered when they heard that, Silva saw it, and his smile widened.

Two tendrils came out of the ground. He took out two daggers and handed them to the tendrils. They grabbed them, and each one moved close to its target like it had a mind of its own.

But the more Silva heard them beg, the more his rage increased. What right did they have to beg? Why should they beg?
They killed a child without a moment of thought. They went as far as toying with Kalif until he died. So them begging now was highly irritating.
The tendrils started cutting the men’s skin with deep cuts.
The men started yelling and trying to move, but they couldn’t. Blood started pouring to the ground after the first cut.
This was only the first cut, and it felt terrible. A thousand more, and they were sure to lose their minds.
But Silva wouldn’t let them.
He was only getting started, he would go from physical to mental torture and continue the circle till the break of day.
