As a member of the Flash Vortex Alliance, news of what had transpired at Mongna Ant Land Cottage spread quickly to the ears of sorcerers at Rapid Flow Twin Towers. In fact, had an unknown land not appeared at sea, drawing a great deal of attention, the news would have traveled even more swiftly.
“Dorando, you buffoon, look at the stupid mess you’ve made.”
At a certain residence, just as Dorando had ushered his aunt into the parlor, he was met with a barrage of scolding from Aunt Robin, which immediately infuriated him.
“Robin, you madwoman, what are you ranting about so early in the morning?” Dorando had always had a bad temper, and he did not hesitate to curse back, even though she was his elder.
“I’m ranting? How dare you say that! I have a question for you: Did you or did you not put a bounty on someone using a mental power potion in the black market?” Robin took a deep breath. If it were not her own nephew, the sole son of her elder brother, she would have walked away immediately.
“What of it if I did, what of it if I didn’t?” Dorando furrowed his brow, emphasizing, “He killed my daughter Rebecca, my darling Rebecca. Of course, I want him dead.”
“Ha! Don’t think I don’t know, he merely provided a set of array dais blueprints under your coercion, nothing more. And yet, you pin Rebecca’s death on him,” Robin nearly laughed in frustration as she exposed his lie. After all, the original incident was her nephew’s fault.
“So what if it is, either way, Rebecca’s death is tied to him; who else am I to blame?” Dorando said bitterly.
“You––are beyond help.” Robin couldn’t bother with correcting him anymore and pointed out, “Do you know one thing?”
“I don’t know, and I don’t want to know.”
“He is now a Level 2 Sorcerer. Listen clearly, a Level 2 Sorcerer. Do you realize you’re courting death?” Robin inwardly cursed nonstop but felt compelled to explain clearly.
“He, that weakling––how could he possibly?” Dorando paused, his complexion turning unnatural.
“How could he not? The news has been confirmed. Mongna Ant Land Cottage has announced it, appointing him as the academy’s second dean. That is to say, as of now, you’ve put a bounty on a Level 2 Sorcerer who is also a Dean of an academy. Just wait, someone will soon be coming for you.”
“Then I’ll go and cancel the bounty at the black market.”
“It’s too late.”
“I’ll speak to Sorcerer Pense for help, he has some relationship with that man.” Realizing the gravity of the situation, Dorando finally became panicked.

“Withdraw the bounty, and you must depart quickly, leave Moon Pincer Peninsula,” Robin stated the solution she had thought of beforehand. “Or, you can hide within the boundaries of Rapid Flow Twin Towers without stepping foot outside until you become a Level 2 Sorcerer yourself.”
“Never leave the academy? You might as well tell me to end my own life.” Dorando harbored no illusions about becoming a Level 2 Sorcerer; he was not someone who could endure solitude.
“Then leave, go far away and return only when things have calmed down,” Robin said gravely.
For her troublesome nephew, she not only needed to arrange his swift departure but also had to figure out a way to defuse the situation.
Fortunately, they were all part of the Flash Vortex Academy Alliance, and her elder brother was a Level 2 Sorcerer. The Trollope family had a decent relationship with the Lidia family. With a lot of maneuvering, a newly minted Level 2 Sorcerer should, hopefully, provide them some face.
But undoubtedly, the Trollope family was going to pay a heavy price.

Mauline hurried along and soon arrived at the Twin Towers, where a butterfly-like creature greeted her after she rang the doorbell.
“I am Mauline Lidia from the Enchantment Group, and I urgently need to see Dean Marichadon. Please inform him at once,” Mauline said politely to the beast pet.
“Please, wait a moment.”
The Scented Butterfly hesitated, not daring to delay, and hurried off to report.

“Dean Marichadon, we have news about the person you asked us to watch. He has just left the Rapid Flow Twin Towers Academy and seems to be planning to quietly flee elsewhere.”
“Your people are still on it, right?”
“They are keeping watch continuously, ensuring he cannot get out of sight.”
“Good, then don’t let him get away.”
A cold gleam flashed in Ivan’s eyes, and the great presence about him flickered and vanished.
Mauline, not far away, shuddered involuntarily, inwardly remarking that a Level 2 Sorcerer indeed was no match for a Level 1, as the mere residual waves of his presence put significant pressure on her.
Mauline knew clearly that he wasn’t targeting her; otherwise, she would be in an even more embarrassing state.
“Dean Marichadon, do you want us to directly intervene? We will certainly not disappoint you.”
“Give others a chance too. You all go together.”
Ivan looked at her with an inscrutable expression, waving his hand to signal she could leave.
After Mauline had left, he immediately contacted Christian and assigned a task to the Hunting Team.

“Are you wandering sorcerers? No, you’re from Mongna Ant Land Cottage, aren’t you? Sent by Ivan Marichardon. My father is Level 2 Sorcerer Lauren Trollope. If you kill me, none of you will live.”
During the battle, Dorando felt the raw killing intent all around him and quickly spoke, trying to use his words to stop them, to fight for a slim chance of survival.
“It doesn’t matter who your father is. If you’ve done something wrong, you must pay the price. That is the basic rule,” said the masked sorcerer, who was well aware of this. They were only following orders.
Unlike the hastily traveling Dorando, the eight masked sorcerers were well-prepared. To ensure a swift and decisive battle, they had planned everything in advance.
The might of spells was vast and colorful, blossoming in the sky.
Before long, under the intense assault of the eight, the battle was swiftly concluded.
The eight masked sorcerers quickly cleaned up the scene of the fight, hastily boarding various flying beasts to depart, leaving behind only the scorched battleground.
