The flashing beam of light instantly enveloped Ling Chuxi as a flare of faint blue flashed in front of her. Suddenly her body numbed as if she had fallen into an abyss and her mind went completely blank.
‘Argh! This is painful! Really too painful!’ A heart-piercing pain pierced through her mind and across every inch of her skin and even stabbed through to the blood in her body. Ling Chuxi almost screamed out in agony and could only circulate her Thundercloud Battle Qi with all her strength to resist against the power of the thunder and lightning that invaded her body.
