Ling Yichen quietly turned his head slightly as an expression of awkwardness appeared on his face. Were those words also scolding him offhandedly? Seeing that they were about to fail and knowing that they were no match for Ling Chuxi and Ling Yichen, the two men anxiously tried to stop them. However, the second Ling Yichen and Ling Chuxi hesitated slightly, they immediately turned around and sprinted away. They did not even bother about the woman lying on the ground.
Ling Yichen snorted. His sword had already left its sheath as he flew forward. With a mid-air flip, he landed before the two men. Raising his foot, he kicked one of them down, while his sharp sword was already pressed against the other man’s throat.

Ling Chuxi played with the dagger in her hands, swinging it back and forth in front of the man.
With an extremely pure and innocent smile on her face, she spoke in a tone that was somewhat ignorant, “Tell me, if this dagger were to lightly cut across your face, what would happen? Will your face rot?”

The man was so scared that he was about to wet himself. That poison-smeared dagger was so very close to his face. He did not wish to die yet.
