"Why are you protecting the thief?" One of the middle-aged women asked.
"That because..." He Fenfang wanted to say something when Yu Qi raised her hand signaling her to stop.
The group of middle-aged women frowned.
Yu Qi took off her cap and mask, revealing her face. Everyone was shocked except for the manager and He Fenfang because they already knew who Yu Qi was.
One of the middle-aged women who bumped into Yu Qi still did not recognise Yu Qi. She scoffed as she saw Yu Qi's appearance.
"Humph! Your look is indeed like a mistress." She said.
Her friends were all shocked as they heard the words from the middle-aged woman. They turned and pulled her sleeve, begging her to say anything more.
"What?" The middle-aged woman looked at her friends.
"She is Tang Yu Qi." One of her friends stated.
"Huh? You knew her? Is she famous? What is she famous for? A gold digger?" She still berated Yu Qi with a condescending tone.
"Idiot, she is the owner of this store." Her friend said.
"What?" She could not process the sentence properly.
"Like I said, she is the owner of this HuiQi Jade Store. She owns this store." Her friends repeated the sentence to her.
"No way." She was in a state of denial.
Yu Qi gave the jade bracelet that she took out of her cardigan's pocket.
"This bracelet, I think you should know how it ends up in my pocket." Yu Qi stated.
"What are you trying to say? I don't understand." The middle-aged woman tried to brush it off.
"Oh... You don't want to admit it?" Yu Qi narrowed her eyes.
"I don't know what are you trying to say." The middle-aged woman still was not giving up.
"I see. It is fine." Yu Qi smirked.
Yu Qi typed something on her phone. Then, she turned to the manager.
"Go and get your laptop." Yu Qi said.
"Yes, Miss." The manager nodded.
In less than one minute, he returned to the laptop. He turned on the laptop and gave it to Yu Qi.
Yu Qi nodded. She opened the browser and typed something. Then, a video popped out. Yu Qi stepped back and gave some space to others to watch the video.
The middle-aged woman saw her action had been captured in the hidden cameras. She went pale. She did not know that the store had hidden cameras around. Her action was captured from many different angles.
"You probably don't see the cameras, but every movement that you make is being captured by the cameras that we hid." Yu Qi stated.
"That..." The middle-aged woman did not know what to say.
"So, you are trying to get me into a problem. Unfortunately, for you, I am the owner. If it is another store, I might be in a problem right now. My reputation might be in danger. Not to mention, you guys are calling me with many names earlier... A gold digger, mistress... That's defamation. Do you want to meet me at court?" Yu Qi asked.
"What?"
"No...No... Please, no court."
"Please, don't sue us. We don't mean any harm."
"Defamation brings harm to the person that you defamed. How dare you say you don't mean any harm." He Fenfang scolded.
The middle-aged woman who bumped into Yu Qi still froze. She really did not expect the person that she tried to screw over was the owner of the store herself.
"Blacklist all of this woman from our store." Yu Qi stated to the manager.
"Yes, Miss." The manager nodded.
"And you..." Yu Qi pointed to the middle-aged woman who bumped into her. "My lawyer will send the notice to you."
The middle-aged woman was shocked. Then, she remembered something. She never mentioned her name. So, there was no way that Yu Qi would know her name. Yu Qi could not send the notice to her. She was secretly happy when Yu Qi suddenly called her name.
"Madam Wan Hong, I hope you remember this incident and try not to do something similar that could ruin another person's life." Yu Qi smiled.
The middle-aged woman, whose name was Wan Hong, had her mouth opened in shock. She did not know when Yu Qi found out her name.
Yu Qi sent Wan Hong's picture to Neko-chan earlier to find out about Wan Hong. It was easy for Neko-chan to find Wan Hong's information. Apparently, Wan Hong was quite active on her social media, making Neko-chan's work easier.
"Please don't visit our store anymore." Yu Qi said to the group of middle-aged women.
Before the middle-aged woman stepped out of the store, Yu Qi spoke again. "Next time, please, don't judge people from the way they are dressing up. They are probably even richer than you."
The group of middle-aged women were embarrassed when they heard the statement. They even indeed looked down on Yu Qi earlier because of the way she dressed up.
"Thank you for coming so quick. You can return to your position." Yu Qi said to the men in black clothes.
"Yes, Miss." They nodded and left.
"Miss, I am sorry for what happened to you in this store." The manager said.
"It's fine. It is not your fault." Yu Qi said.
Yu Qi then turned to He Fenfang. "I want others to be like He Fenfang. When I was outside the store looking through the glass, she did not judge me and even invited me to come in before she even recognised me."
