Yu Qi did not expect her little cuties to react like that. The smell was horrible. She rushed to her room.
She took off her clothes and went to the shower. She unblocked her senses. The smell was still lingering after she rinsed her body. She looked at the soap and shampoo and used them several times. After one hour in the shower, Yu Qi finally got out of the bathroom. She wore the bathrobe before leaving the Sere.
She searched for decent clothes in the room. Luckily, she found one. After putting on the clothes, Yu Qi entered the bathroom inside the room. She switched on the shower and let the water out for a few seconds before switching it off again. She needed to create the illusion that she had taken a shower here.
Yu Qi went out. Ethan Dulcan was surprised to see Yu Qi come out so fast. From Ethan Dulcan's perspective, Yu Qi just entered the room for about 10 minutes.
Usually, the people who had been stuffed in that room would take a shower for quite some time to make sure the smell disappeared completely. However, Yu Qi was just inside for a few minutes. He was afraid that Yu Qi probably smelled badly. When Ethan Dulcan approached Yu Qi, he was surprised when he smelled nothing but a floral scent on Yu Qi.

Ethan Dulcan returned to another man. They entered the room. The man brought a file.
"Hello, Miss Tang. I am Edward Potter." Edward Potter introduced himself to Yu Qi.
He extended his hand to shake hands with Yu Qi. However, Yu Qi did not move. She just raised her eyebrow. Edward Potter did not get angry. He just smiled.
"Let's go straight to our plan. Miss Tang, we are happy that you have decided to join us. With you around, we can achieve more." Edward Potter pushed the document in Yu Qi's direction. "This is the contract that you need to sign."
"I need to sign the contract?" Yu Qi asked.
"Yes... All of us signed them when we joined the organisation." Edward Potter said.
Yu Qi reached for the document and read it. The more she read the terms and conditions, the happier she became.
"I have to stay for 100 years? You should just write it as your whole damn life." Yu Qi chuckled.
Edward Potter just smiled without commenting.
Yu Qi read more. They had one day off per week. However, they could not leave the base. They could feel under special conditions. The experiment that they conducted needed to show a positive result. Otherwise, they needed to receive their punishment and so on.
After reading everything, she grabbed the pen and signed it. Edward Potter and Ethan Dulcan smiled. They knew Yu Qi had no choice but to sign the document.
"Welcome. Happy that you joined us." Edward Potter said.
"Humph! It is not like I have a choice here." Yu Qi scoffed.
Edward Potter and Ethan Dulcan ignored that comment.
"I will show you around and bring you to your room and your workplace." Edward Potter stated.
Ethan Dulcan left. It seemed they had an area that they had to supervise.
Edward Potter brought Yu Qi to another area. It seems this was the laboratory. In the laboratory, there were a lot of experimental rooms. All of them could be seen because the wall was transparent.
There are a lot of experiments that have been conducted here. All of the experiments bring a lot of benefits to human beings. You will have your workspace too." Edward Potter explained.
"Include your experiment on human beings?" Yu Qi asked.
"Miss Tang, it is necessary to sacrifice a small number of humans." Edward Potter stated.
"You can use it on another creature that is similar to human beings." Yu Qi said.

After finger registration, Edward Potter walked Yu Qi to a cafe. The cafe was full of people who were eating. But it was totally silent. No one is talking. Mostly, they looked tired.
One of them even fell asleep on the table before someone knocked on his table, and he woke up in a hurry. After that, he began to eat in a hurry, too.
"This is a cafe. You can come here and eat. It operated 24 hours straight." Edward Potter explained.
