Long Hui walked out of the basement. He even locked the basement door. The men realised that they had been locked inside the basement. There was no signal in the basement. They could not ask for help with their phones. They could not bang the door in desperation.
Long Hui looked around the mansion. Shino jumped onto Long Hui's shoulder and sat there.
"What are you going to do right now?" Shino asked Long Hui.
"Is she still not saying anything?" Long Hui asked.
"Nope... Not yet." Shino shook his small head.
"Fine... I will go to her. You can locate her location. Let's go." Long Hui walked through the mansion.
The servants were shocked to see the supposed captive person who should be in the basement walking freely in the mansion. Long Hui was calm as ever. One of the servants rushed to contact Winter Lee.
"Madam, that man escaped from the basement." The servant informed Winter Lee as soon as she heard Winter Lee answer the call.
"What? How can he escape from the basement?" Winter Lee was furious.
"I don't know about that, Madam. But he walked through the mansion." The servant stated.
Winter Lee thought about something. "Go see inside the basement."
The servant asked other servants to go to the basement. When they approached the basement, they heard some banging on the door. The servants opened the door and saw some of the men had been lying down while grunting.
"Madam, the bodyguards are lying down inside the basement. They probably had been beating up." The servant informed Winter Lee, who was still on the line.
"Are they conscious? Let me talk to them." Winter Lee ordered the servant.
The servant looked around and saw a conscious person. He went and told the man that the Madam wanted to talk to him.
"Yes, Madam?" The man said.
"How can you let him escape?" Winter Lee asked.
"Madam, he is a monster. He ripped off the handcuff and chain by himself." The man exclaimed.
"What?" Winter Lee could not feel it.
"I am telling you the truth, Madam." The man said.
"Useless. Give the phone back." Winter Lee stated.
Winter Lee did not believe what the man said. How could someone do something like that? He escaped with those men's help. She would believe that.
The man dared not say anything and returned the phone to the servant.
"Go and check whether the man has already left the mansion or not?" Winter Lee ordered the servant.
Getting the order from Winter Lee, the servants asked other servants to check the situation. They searched for Long Hui but still did not see him. They assumed he had already left the mansion.
Winter Lee clicked her tongue as she heard the news that Long Hui had already left the mansion. She bore a grudge against Long Hui for hurting her precious daughter. She made a call to Angelica Lee.
"Yes, Auntie. What do you want?" Angelica Lee asked as she answered the phone.
"That man escaped." Winter Lee said.
"Auntie, how are you so useless that you can not keep a man from escaping?" Angelica Lee asked.
Her tone was very gentle, but the words were very rude.
Winter Lee wanted to curse Angelica Lee, but she could not do that. Otherwise, their relationship would turn sour, and Winter Lee and her daughter would suffer in the Lee Family.
"I am sorry, Young Leader. But that man is very strong. I already handcuffed him and even chained his leg, but he could easily break them." Winter Lee informed Angelica Lee about Long Hui's escape.

Winter Lee gritted her teeth. She was hoping that Long Hui would go and find Angelica Lee and teach her a lesson. She hoped that Angelica Lee ended up in the hospital like her daughter. Thinking about her daughter, her heart ached.
That man was so ruthless with women. She did not know how a woman could stay together with someone like him.
