Shino saw the excitement in the man's eyes and scoffed. He knew the moment his master brought the man inside the Sere, this man might not survive anymore. So, he was a dying person. However, he did not understand why this man seemed to be happy when he looked at him.
Xiaohua also noticed the man's emotion. Shino might not understand but she did. She had made contact with humans being. She knew that this man was excited to meet a talking beast.
The beast under certain level could not talk. However, after they evolved to the higher level, they would be able to talk like a human being. She was one of them.
"He wants to catch you," Xiaohua said to Shino.
"Huh? Catch me? Is he capable?" Shino scoffed like throwing a glancing at Mike.
Mike suddenly remembered the little girl. It seemed the little girl knew the beast. This little girl was also not normal. How could a kid like her mercilessly stab others like that?
His shoulder still felt the pain. However, thanks to his cultivation power that the injury was not that serious. He wanted to leave but he did not bear to apart with that ferret. After doing some thoughts on his mind, he decided to leave the beast. His life was more important.
Shino and Xiaohua looked in the direction from which the man ran. Then, they looked at each other.
"That direction is where Rukh sleeps, right?" Shino asked.
"That man might walk toward his death," Xiaohua said.
"I am going," Shino said.
"Going where?" Xiaohua asked.
"I am going to follow that man. It would be fun to watch how Rukh would deal with this man.
"Wait for me. I am going too." Xiaohua jumped from the tree into the tree branch where the tree branch carried Xiaohua.
Rukh was sleeping when he heard something. He opened one eye and saw a man. This must be the man that they were talking about. He closed his eyes again and wanted to return to sleep.
Mike saw a bird sleeping. He was curious and wanted to see the bird. As he got closer to the bird, the bird suddenly opened its wings and swung them. The force from the swing made Mike realise that this bird was not normal either. It must be a beast, too.
He started to think about where he was right now. Where was this place actually? Why did every creature that he saw become beasts?
Because of the pressure from the bird, Mike was injured. Seeing that the bird did not care about him, he made a run. Then he heard the conversation.
"Rukh is indeed stronger. I want to be like him."
"If I fight with Rukh, who do you think will win?"
"By the way, where is Aoi?"
"I don't know."
Mike frowned when he listened to the conversation. Where was this place? No... The question should like be this. What was this place?
"Hey, what is this place?" Mike shouted.
"Humph! Who wants to tell you?" Shino replied.
Out of the sudden, Mike started to feel the burning sensation on his shoulder. He dropped on his knee.
"Oh... It must be starting now." Shino said.
He referred to the poison that he injected into that man's body. The poison started to take effect. The person would be weakened. His body would start to feel hot. He began to sweat nonstop as his body wanted to get the water out of the system.
"Ah... Stop... Please... Make it stop..." Mike shouted.
"Is your poison this powerful?" Xiaohua asked.
"Master said it was indeed powerful. So, I just inject some of them into his body." Shino said.
Aoi appeared beside them. "What's wrong with him?"
"Shino injected his poison," Xiaohua said.
"Master tells us that we could not let him die. He probably would want to die now." Aoi stated.
"I... I... don't think my poison is that dangerous." Shino said. "What should we do?"
"Let's bring him back to Master. Master will know what to do with him." Aoi stated.
"I will take him," Xiaohua said.
The tree branches rushed to Mike and lifted him up. The three of them rushed back to Yu Qi and Long Hui. Yu Qi seemed to be working with something on her laptop while Long Hui sat there watching his beloved Qi Qi.
Both of them seemed to be noticed Yu Qi's contracted beasts rushing to them. Yu Qi watched them, raising her eyebrow. The beasts stopped in front of them.
"What is going on?" Yu Qi asked.
"Master, I am sorry. I inject some of my poison into him. Just a little... I don't know that my poison is this powerful." Shino explained while crying.
Xiaohua put down Mike. Mike seemed to be dehydrated. Leaving him one hour later, he might died by the dehydration. Yu Qi checked Mike.
"He is injured too." Yu Qi said.
"I stabbed him twice." Xiaohua admitted.
"He probably encounter Rukh too." Yu Qi said.
"Yes. He went closer to Rukh. Rukh swung his wings to Mike." Xiaohua stated.
"Please... Please... It hurt... I don't want to die... Please..." Mike begged.
"Then, you should tell me everything that you know. Don't hide anything." Yu Qi said to Mike.
Mike showed a bit of hesitation.
"Humph! I don't know that you, as an evil cultivator, would be so loyal. Great. Then, you can say goodbye to this world." Yu Qi grinned.
