Samuel looked so angry that he wanted to smack Yu Qi directly, but he could not do it. He could not even stand due to the intense pain in his legs.

"Humph!" Yu Qi scoffed again.
"You! You better not regret this." Mike gritted his teeth.
Mike raised his hand, wanting to wave his hand like he had done previously. It seemed he wanted to make Yu Qi lose her consciousness like his friends.
"You choose the hard way. Since that is your choice, I will take some payment for it. Your body is nice. I wonder how it tastes." Mike licked his lips using his tongue while his eyes scanned Yu Qi's body up and down.
Then, he waved his hand. He waited for the effect to hit Yu Qi. But after a moment, nothing happened to Yu Qi.
"What? What is going on?" Mike looked at his hand.
"Your power is not working?" Yu Qi spoke.
"You? What are you?" Mike was shocked.
"Your power seems to be attacking a human's mind. However, it is not working if you encounter a human who has strong mental power like me." Yu Qi pointed her finger at her head.
"That's impossible." Mike could not believe it.
"And you should not think that only you have that kind of power." Yu Qi smiled.
Yu Qi also raised her hand and waved it like Mike had done. Mike instantly felt the pain in his knee, making him kneel down in front of Mike. She was like him.
"You are a cultivator too," Mike confirmed.

Yu Qi wanted to know. However, Mike did not want to reveal anything to Yu Qi. He chose to run away. Ignoring the pain in his knees, he stood up and ran away, leaving Yu Qi and his friends behind. He did not care what happened to his friends. Well, he was not actually friends with them. At most, they were co-workers. Still, his life was more important than theirs.
Yu Qi just smiled when she saw Mike running away. She did not plan to chase after him. However, Yu Qi did not leave the place immediately. She searched for a bench and sat on it.
Mike ran as fast as he could. He turned around and saw no one chasing after him. He was relieved. Feeling tired, he stopped and wanted to catch his breath.
"Done running?"
Mike heard a voice. He looked around and saw Yu Qi sitting on the bench. He was speechless.
"How could you be in here before me?" Mike asked.
"Hmm? I have been sitting here since you ran away." Yu Qi stated.
"What? That is impossible." Mike then realised something. "You!!! What have you done?"
"You are a cultivator. You should be able to escape with this illusion." Yu Qi mocked Mike.
"You!!!" Mike gritted his teeth. It was obvious that he would not be able to leave this place unless she allowed him to do so.
"I am not a bad person. If you tell me everything that you know, then I will allow you to leave." Yu Qi said.
Mike was thinking whether he should accept this deal or not. If he accepted the deal, he could leave this place, but he did not know how to explain to them that he had failed the task. If he had not accepted the deal, he might have died here. Tsk... He clicked his tongue. He should accept the deal. If they asked about this, he would tell them that she was the same like him.
Yu Qi stood up fast. Mike noticed her movement. He saw that Yu Qi was looking in a direction. He followed her action and looked in the same direction. He slowly saw a figure running toward Yu Qi.
