So, Xiao Tengfei used the money to pay off their debt. When he was called to do the work, he was surprised when he heard the details of the job. He wanted to back off from the job but he could not do that since he already used the money. Otherwise, he would just return to the money.
Having no choice, Xiao Tengfei brought his wife on board. They disguised themselves as the doctor and nurse with some help inside the hospital. After getting the number of the room and the item that they needed to inject into the IV drip, they went to the room. It was obvious that they were nervous but surprisingly, not many people walked around the room.

They waited almost 5 days before someone other than the person who provided the food to them came over. They were brought to a room. Not long after that, a beautiful woman entered with a handsome man. Xiao Tengfei looked lustfully at the beautiful woman. However, he was startled and almost fell from his seat when he caught a stare which petrified into his bone. He looked down.
Yuan Xiurong watched this beautiful woman sit in front of them like a boss with two men standing side by side. The woman crossed her legs.
"Hi, nice to meet you, Mr Xiao, Mrs Xiao." Yu Qi smiled coldly at both of them.
Xiao Tengfei and Yuan Xiurong looked straight at Yu Qi.
Yuan Xiurong braved herself asking Yu Qi. "Who are you?"
"I am the doctor who performed the surgery on the patient that you intentionally wanted to kill him." Yu Qi introduced herself that way.
"You... You..." Yuan Xiurong trembled.
"No... We don't intend to kill him. We just did it under someone's order. We did not even know who he was." Xiao Tengfei spoke denying the allegation.
"But you received some money, right?" Yu Qi asked.
"That's true but..." Xiao Tengfei wanted to say more but Yu Qi cut him off.
"Meaning you are the assassin that got hired to kill that person." Yu Qi said.
"That is not the truth... We had been forced to do it. If I know the job before accepting the money, I will not dare to accept it." Xiao Tengfei said.
"If that is the case, you should report it to the police. Instead, you went to accept the job." Yu Qi smacked the table.
Xiao Tengfei and Yuan Xiurong were startled. They did not have anything to say.
"Do you know who the person who you tried to kill?" Yu Qi asked. She paused for a moment before continuing. "He is the son of your former boss, Bai Yu, the son of Bai Xia Fang, President of Bai Corporation."
"What?" Both of them were shocked.
They seriously did not know about that.
"You dare to touch someone like him? You are very brave." Yu Qi stated.
"We don't know." Xiao Tengfei said.
"The person who asked you to kill Bai Yu wants to silence you. If I don't ask someone to take you away, do you think that you can live until now?" Yu Qi said.
Xiao Tengfei and Yuan Xiurong looked at each other for a while. Then, they turned to Yu Qi.
"What do you want us to do?" Xiao Tengfei asked.
Yu Qi's lips curved up. "I am glad that you understand your position. Bai Family wanted to sue me for medical malpractice. I want your testimony stating that you are the one who caused this patient's worsening condition."
"But that will expose what we had done to Bai Yu." Xiao Tengfei said.
He did not want that. Their reputation would be ruined.
"Do you think you have a choice here?" Yu Qi narrowed her eyes. She continued. "I heard that someone is after your life. Yours and your wife's lives. If you don't want to do as I request, I can let both of you go. You can think of a way to defend your lives. I think you have experienced it before my people got you. They will not stop until you die."
Yuan Xiurong trembled again as she remembered the attempts to take her life. She did not want to die yet. Xiao Tengfei was silent. Yuan Xiurong pulled her husband's hand.
"Tengfei..." Yuan Xiurong wanted her husband to accept this deal.
"What happens to us after we give our testimony?" Xiao Tengfei asked.
"I can not know the exact punishment that you can get. But your confession might reduce the amount of the punishment that you might get." Yu Qi stated. She chuckled. "I think it is better like that. Otherwise, you might die outside faster."
Xiao Tengfei had not answered Yu Qi yet. Yuan Xiurong was nervous waiting for her husband's choice.
