The receptionist was shocked to hear the request from the couple.
"Sir, why do you request that?" The receptionist asked wanting to know the situation.
"I think someone has entered our room while we are out." Yu Qi answered on Long Hui's behalf.
"How do you know it?" The receptionist did not believe it.
"You don't need to know that. Right now, we want to see the CCTV on that floor. We know there are 5 of them on that floor. Especially, the one in front of our room." Yu Qi stated.
The receptionist looked troubled. "Hmm... I need to ask my manager first."
"Sure. We will be waiting here." Yu Qi nodded.
The receptionist said something to her partner and left the front desk. 10 minutes later, the receptionist came back with a middle-aged man. The middle-aged man came to talk to them.
"Welcome to our home. I am Kamal, the manager for tonight. Are you the couple who requested to see our CCTV?" Kamal asked.
"Yes. I suspect that someone had entered our room while we were gone." Yu Qi said.
"How do you know about that?" Kamal asked.
"I noticed the vase at the shoe rack at the entrance had slightly moved from the original place when we were heading earlier." Yu Qi stated.
"Only because of that? Are you sure that you are not mistaken?" Kamal could not believe it.
"Not only that, I also noticed the smell in the room. It was someone else's perfume." Yu Qi stated.
"My fiance is a doctor. So, she is particular about something like that. She also has a photographic memory. She could remember that thing perfectly when she saw something." Long Hui added.
Kamal looked surprised.
"We don't request something difficult, right?" Yu Qi tilted her head.
Kamal could not reject it. "Yes. We will allow it. Let's go to the surveillance room."
Kamal led them to the surveillance room. Kamal knocked on the surveillance room. Another middle-aged man opened the door.
"What is it?" The middle-aged man asked Kamal while glancing at Yu Qi and Long Hui.
"Let us enter first," Kamal said.
So, they entered the surveillance room. Kamal explained the matter to the middle-aged man. The middle-aged man looked surprised. The floor that Yu Qi and Long Hui was not some random floor. It was their most expensive room in this hotel. It was obvious that this couple was not normal people since normal people could not afford to stay in that room.
The middle-aged man quickly told his men to review the data from the CCTV cameras on that floor, especially one in front of their room. He asked when the couple was heading out so that he could point pin the time. Yu Qi told him about that. They watched the video recording in the fast forward mode until it suddenly glitched once and the video returned back to normal. Yu Qi narrowed her eyes. Nothing happened. Then, it glitched once again and returned to normal again. They watched until Yu Qi and Long Hui appeared in the frame.
"Mr Long... Miss Tang... We had seen the CCTV. We can not find anyone entering your room." Kamal stated. He was relieved about this.
"Are you sure about that?" Yu Qi asked.
"Eh?" Kamal was confused. 'Are we watching the same thing?'
"Can you go at time 11:34:14?" Yu Qi told the technician who controlled the computer.
"Yes." The technician nodded. He did as Yu Qi requested.
"Do you see here?" Yu Qi pointed at the screen.
"See what?" Kamal asked back.
"It is a glitch." The middle-aged man just noticed it.
"Yes. It is a glitch." Yu Qi smiled and nodded.
"Meaning, this video had been tampered with by someone." The middle-aged man said. "That's right. The video from time 11:34:14 to 12:47:25 had been tampered with." Yu Qi said. The technician checked on the time that Yu Qi mentioned. She was right. They found another glitch.
"Then, it is true that someone enters your room but we don't know who that person is." Kamal sighed.
To be honest, it was the first time something like this happened at their hotel.
"Can you recover the video back?" Yu Qi asked the technician and the middle-aged man.
"We can but it would take quite some time in order to recover the video." The middle-aged man stated with embarrassment.
Yu Qi took out her phone and dialled a number. One ringing, the call had been answered. "Master... Do you have fun?" A childlike voice coming through the phone.
"Neko-chan, can you check the surveillance system where I am right now?" Yu Qi asked.
"Huh? Why? Wait a minute..." Neko-chan said. "Master, you are at Tenera Hotel, M Country. Wow, you travelled there with your fiance. Leaving me behind."
"You seem doing the experiment with the Robotic unit. I don't want to disturb you." Yu Qi said.
"So, why are you calling me now?" Neko-chan asked.
Yu Qi told Neko-chan what happened right now.
"I see... Checking it right now." Neko-chan stated.
The computer screen in the surveillance room flicked once. Then, a white cat appeared on the screen. The technician and the middle-aged man were shocked.
"You don't need to worry. It is my people hacking into the server. We will not touch anything else. She will take a look at the video." Yu Qi explained.
