[An: Bonus Chapter 7/7]
"Okay, we are here, everyone out. Use your map to find the area you are supposed to be in. it shouldn't be hard to find. Just head northeast from here." Captain Fos gave the general direction they needed to go to before walking away.
Kana and the girls began heading towards their appointed area. After about fifteen minutes, it seemed Pel was no longer able to hold in her curiosity about what Kana said earlier and asked: "What did you mean by what you said earlier?"
Kana did not look at them and only said: "I can not guarantee everyone's safety. You will understand why after we get there. We should hurry. I do not want to waste any more time."
The girls could feel that Kana seemed different today compared to the day before. She seemed more distant. They did not know why this was so, and they knew it was not their place to pry. Pel, who usually would ask about whatever made her curious, even stepped back and only answered, "Oh".
The group's morale had taken a dip as they reached their destination. They were greeted by a large battle that was going on between the two sides. Dark clouds of smoke rose from the ground from all the fire spells that were being flung back and forth, covering the sky. A few people lay dead or dying on the ground in front of them. No one even took a look at them or tried to help them.
Taking in this scene, Kana narrowed her eyes and stared up at the sky. "This seems right…. Aoi, Naru, it is time."
To the other girl's surprise, two small figures flew up into the air and hovered on each side of Kana. "Kana, are we going to do it?"
"Mmmm… We will wipe out the entire region..." Kana said as she turned her head back towards the other girls. "I am sorry, but I can not waste any more time. It would be best if you found a place to hide and wait until it was all over. The further away you are, the better…."
"I will check if you get points from our kills." Aoi said as she flicked her finger, sending a tiny blade of water flying at an enemy not far away. The enemy she hit immediately collapsed, and a low ping was heard from Kana's pocket.
Kana took out the crystal, looked at it, and saw a 0.5 appear inside. "It works… Let's get started."
Mina looked at Kana, whose eyes seemed to be vacant of any emotion. She bit her lip as she asked: "Kana, what do you plan…."
"Your survival is up to you." Kana cut her off with these words before she began to speak in an ancient tongue.
A powerful flow of magic could be felt suddenly as it began to swirl around Kana, Aoi, and Naru. The three were channeling their largest spells. Each one took a while to cast due to the chant that needed to be said before calling out the spell name. The dark skies quickly began to light up as they began to glow red. The ground underfoot began to shake violently, almost knocking over Yori and the others. "What is this!
"I'm not sure. But whatever it is, it is not good! We need to do what Kana said and get out of here. One thing I can tell is that it is Kana and those little figures that are causing this." Mina grabbed the other two girls' hands and pulled them along as they began to retreat. The others who were on the battlefield all stopped fighting one another and looked up at the sky. For the first time in thousands of years, the battlefield, which had always been noisy, was now silent as their eyes stared up at the sky.
Aoi was waving her hands left and right as the water molecules in the air began to move at her will. They began to merge and split, forming billions of thin water needles that she began to slowly move higher into the sky.
Naru, on the other hand, snickered as his little eyes flashed with a menacing light. He formed a small black ball in front of him and sent it out into the middle of the forces many kilometers away.
As for Kana… The thing that attracted everyone's eyes the most... Was the flaming ball in the sky that seemed to be like a small moon crashing into the planet. This time though, Kana made sure to not use as much [MP] as she did the first time she used this spell. She did not want to pass out like before.
Kana: "[Call Meteor]"
Aoi: "[Silent Rain]"
Naru: "[Curse Of Abomination]"
For the three girls who were currently hiding far away inside a hole in the side of a large rock, on this day witnessed what hell would look like. Screams of people, both friend and foe, cried out as their bodies began to rot away under a strange black fog that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. On top of that, the sky seemed to have turned against them as thin needles rained down, acting like swords silently piercing through anyone they touched. And the biggest threat of them all was the large object that steadily grew bigger as it descended down.
Kana looked back towards the direction the girls had run off in. The light of the red sky illuminating her tanned face that showed no emotion whatsoever. She had hardened her heart to carry on. In order to move on to the next level, she needed to accomplish this task. She also had many people waiting for her back home. Aoi and Naru both flew over and sat on her shoulders. Kana turned her head back towards the land of death in front of her. The cries for help and screams of pain could be heard all over. She tuned them out the best she could as she raised her eyes towards the sky and in a small whisper that was filled with all of her determination she said: "Fall…."
