The duke's face sank. He never thought that he, a duke of the kingdom, would be forced to go to court over something so stupid. He gritted his teeth and let the guards take him away along with his daughter. One of the guards even healed his and his daughter's hand as they walked.
"I will stop by tomorrow to pick you up for court." Bridan said as he saluted Kana by balling up his fist and putting it over his chest.
"I will be up. Thank you for your assistance again. I will see you tomorrow." Kana bowed slightly before following the guard who was taking her back to the inn.
As the two walked, Kana did not speak much as she looked around at everything. She was in somewhat of a daze as she looked at this and that, not paying much attention to the fact that the guard who was next to her suddenly slowed his pace. By this time, they had already left the shopping district and were on a regular side road. The guard slowly and quietly drew his sword from its sheath. With a swift thrust of his sword, he stabbed out at Kana straight at her head!
*Clang!*
"Wha!? What the hell are you!?" The guard yelled out.
"Did you just try to stab me in my butt!?" Kana yelled as he swung her hand, smacking the guard in the face.
*Bam!*
The guard's face contoured as his jaw and cheekbones all began to crack. He could not even cry out in pain due to his whole jaw coming unlodged from its joint. Like a kite caught in the wind, he went flying into a building through the wall and then crashing through every other wall in the building before coming out the other side of the building, still flying in a straight line without losing any momentum. "How dare you try to stick anything up my butt! Don't you know dragons have a reverse scale that should never be touched!? Huh? Where did he go?"
Kana looked around and only saw a hole in a wall, causing her to frown. "That bastard actually ran away!? He even went as far as to destroy someone else's property!"
One of the people in said building that was actually an apartment complex was still sitting in their seat. This person was an older female who, with a spoon in her hands that had a bit of meat hanging off of it, stood frozen in place after her wall was suddenly destroyed. The table which said meat was on and the plate full of food was no longer there. Seeing this, Kana walked over and bowed her head. "Miss, although it was that dirty pervert's fault, I will apologize. Who knew one of the guards was such a pervert that he would try to shove a sword up a girl's butt. But do not worry, I will make sure to report this as soon as possible. I know what the guard looks like."
The older female just sat there staring at Kana blankly, not sure how to answer. She could only nod her head and watch as Kana walked away. Kana's mood was very gloomy. "What is with today!? First, someone tries to touch me first thing in the morning. Then someone tries to steal my stuff then says it was my fault. On top of that, some man who was supposed to be a guard tries to stab me in the butt with his sword and runs away while causing all kinds of destruction in the process. Just not my day..."
Kana let out a sigh as she turned a corner down another street. She walked for almost two hours before she realized something major. "Where the hell am I?"
She was lost. Very lost! This city was huge, and she had no idea where the hell she was. She had originally been following the guard, but it seemed he had taken her to some side streets without her even realizing it! "Now, what do I do?"
Kana looked up at the blazing sun overhead and once again sighed. She then turned around and decided to walk back to where the perverted guard escaped. But after walking for another two hours, Kana looked around and saw nothing that resembled the partially destroyed building that the guard escaped through. "Ummm...."
With no other option, Kana looked both ways and made sure no one was around before leaping up on top of one of the tallest buildings around here. "Okay, now where am I?"
Looking out over the cityscape, that basically looked the same no matter which way she looked. "What the hell is with this city why does it look all the same!? Isn't this a little unfair to people who are lost? I guess I have no choice but to roof hop."
With that thought in mind, Kana began jumping from roof to roof. She checked each street looking for someone to ask for directions. It was not until she hopped almost twenty buildings that she finally spotted someone lying in the street. She jumped down to see that this person was the only one there. She walked over to the man who was wearing a guard uniform and asked: "Excuse me can you…. You're the damn pervert who tried to stick a sword up my butt!"
Kana reached down and grabbed the guard whose whole face was a complete mess and paused for a moment. "Wait who are you? Buddy are you okay? Hello?"
Kana frowned seeing how she was not getting any response. She lifted the guard up and put him on her shoulder before looking around once more. When she spotted a huge whole with a man standing there scratching his head she walked over and asked: "Sir can you tell me how to get to the nearest guard station this man here is hurt."
"Sure can miss. I will even lead the way. I need to report that someone destroyed my house anyway." The man replied. He scratched his head again and wondered what had happened. When he saw the guard on Kana's shoulder he frowned. "This poor lad must have put up a good fight with who ever did this."
