As for Kana's new death form, It was not much different from her normal form except that she was all black with a strange fog that surrounded her, and she would grow a second set of horns. As for her humanoid form, her hair would turn pure black, and her skin would go deathly pale. Even her nails and the scales on her tail turned black as well. It was not really a form she liked too much since she felt that she looked like a ghost.
The strange thing about this element was that it did not come with a dragon breath like her other forms. But the skill [Summon Lesser Ghoul] was very useful. It had helped her survive many times during boss fights.
After so many battles, Kana had found herself in a bit of a pickle. She had gone down ninety floors and was now on a floor that was settled by two warring humanoid races. Standing off to the side, outside the capital city of a reptilian race, Kana stood watching the people coming and going from the main gate. "Aoi, Naru, when we enter the city, I will need the two of you to search the area for the door to the boss room. If it is even in this city."
"Got it!" Naru replied. After being with Kana for nearly a year, he was not as annoying as he was before. Although he was still a narcissist who Aoi liked to pick on.
"Leave it to me!" Aoi said, pumping her little fist in the air.
"Whatever you two do, do not fight." Kana said sternly. She knew these two were always fighting when she was not looking.
"Yes!" "Roger!"
The group of three headed towards the entrance. Luckily Kana resembled the race here, or she would not be willing to walk in through the front door. There was a long line waiting to enter the city. A group of guards were inspecting each wagon that came through from top to bottom. If there were a lot of goods inside the wagon, the items would need to be taken out to make sure no one was hiding inside. Kana noticed that these guards seemed to be very quick and thorough with their work. They did not harass anyone and did not try to be overbearing. They checked the items, and if it was clear, they could pass through.
Kana especially noticed the people who seemed to come from well-to-do families. They all waited patiently in line with the lower class without a word of complaint. "Why can't my world be like this? This world, although they are at war, it seems more constrained to the system where the higher class treats the lower class with respect. Not forcing their way through line or making a fuss. I wonder if it is because they are at war?"

Even back on Earth, if such a way of treating others existed, maybe she would not have suffered so much and could have gotten the help she needed. After so many tough battles and life and death experiences, Kana now understood how naive and simplistic she was when she first came to this world. But at the time, she was so happy not to be human and did not have to starve as she did before. Everything was new and exciting, allowing her real personality to come out. But now she knows that no matter what life you live, hard work is something one must endure. Life was not easy, and one must strive to better themselves to become what they wish. Kana knew this really well now.
A few hours passed, and it was now finally Kana's turn. Aoi and Naru went back into the summons space so they would not be spotted by the guards. The guard looked Kana up and down and noticed she was not carrying anything. "Miss, may I ask where you come from?"
Kana had expected this, so she had already come up with a story. She pinched her thigh hard, causing tears to well up in her eyes. She lowered her head and pouted her lip. With how beautiful Kana was, it made the guard feel bad for asking such a question. He was going to tell her to go ahead, but he soon heard Kana say: "I lived with my grandfather deep in the forest. Kana's tears fell like thick raindrops down onto the ground. The guard was even tearing up. The people around her also began to tear up. "It must have been hard on you ." The guard reached down to his side and handed Kana a small pouch. "It is not much, but it should allow you to get some food and stay at an inn for a few days.
