"Why is it still chasing me!? Lysairth, what happened to you scaring big monsters away!?" Kana cried as she continued to run as fast as she could through the forest. Her tail tucked between her legs as she did.
"I think it has lost itself in rage. You smashing into it and then stomping on its stomach must have really angered it. I warned you that some powerful monsters might not even care about my presence." Lysairth did say such a thing, but the issue was not the bear but the other monsters chasing her too!
"That explains the bear, but what about the others!?" Kana yelled. She had yet to slow her pace as she ran for her life. She knew if she stopped for even a second, she would become dragon kabobs for a bunch of monsters.
"Those are low level monsters. You can easily kill them!" Lysairth let out a sigh. Kana had run through quite a few nests disturbing the monsters there, and crushed the eggs they laid in her rampage to get away from the three eyed horned bear. And because of that, they had joined in the chase to kill the one who killed their babies.
"You call that low level!? That bee has two heads and three stingers! It even spat a lightning bolt at me!" Kana wanted to cry, she had such lame skills, but this damn bee was able to shoot lightning at her!
"Even if it hit you, it wouldn't have done any damage to you! You can just use your baby breath skill to instantly kill it!" Lysairth had a headache. She was a ghost, and she was getting a headache watching a dragon run like a rabbit from low level monsters.
"What the hell can my bad breath do to a monster!? " Kana was still under the assumption that Baby Breath was something that killed her opponents with bad breath.
"What are you talking about? It spits flame! You can roast these low level monsters instantly!" Lysairth finally couldn't speak calmly anymore as she yelled in annoyance. "Did you not read its description!?"
"Ah!" Kana had only read the names of her skills, and since it didn't sound 'cool,' she did not even think to read what it actually did and assumed what it did by name alone. Lysairth facepalmed. She should have figured this was the case after hearing such a ridiculous name for a spell come out of Kana's mouth.
Kana was filled with new-found courage as she swung her body around, skidded to a stop, and opened her mouth: "Get a taste of my stinky [Baby Breath]!"
A stream of flame shot out of Kana's mouth in a wide cone in front of her. All the low level monsters in range instantly turned to ash. When the spell was over, Kana looked at what she did and smiled widely. She jumped up onto her hind legs and did her victory pose and then put her front paws on her hips and lifted her head to the sky and gave a proud snort.
*Rawr!*
"Oh shit, pappa bear is still after me!" Once again, Kana turned into rabbit mode and began running for her life once again.
"Kana, keep running straight. We will be out of its territory soon.." Lysairth had noticed the three eyed horned bear was slowing down, which meant it was nearing the edge of its territory. For high level monsters, if one stepped onto another's territory, it was basically an act of war, which was why Kana only had to run for a bit longer to make her escape.
At least, this is how it should be. It seemed the three eyed horned bear did not like the fact that the little lizard it had been chasing for so long was about to escape into another's territory. It roared out and swiped its claws at the trees to its side, ripping them right out of the ground, roots and all, sending them flying at Kana!
"You fucking kidding, right!? Isn't this cheating!? Lysairth, he's cheating!" Kana complained as she began dodging trees left and right. With this being a forest, the three eyed horned bear had almost an unlimited supply of trees to throw as they ran. And besides the sounds of trees crashing into the ground, there was another sound that echoed throughout the woods. "You damn stinky bear! All I did was slam into you and leave pawprints on your stomach. Do you really need to go this far!?"
*Bam!*
A tree flew right over Kana's head, smashing in the ground in front of her. "Eek! I take back what I said! I'm sorry for slamming into you. I'm sorry my little lizard feat dirtied your beautiful fur. I mean, for such an amazing and beautiful bear, I am sure all the guy bears are lining up to ask you for a hand in marriage!"
*Roar!*
"Eeek! Why did it get even angrier!? Did I not just praise it!?" Kana couldn't understand. Was she not kissing the bear's ass?
"Kana, that bear is male, and your words just angered it more… It seems you might have touched upon one of its touchy topics." Lysairth let out an exasperated sigh.
"Huh? That thing is male? But it doesn't even look like it has… Oh shit!" Kan yelled out as four trees flew over her head and smashed into the ground right in front of her. Kana tried to stop, but with how fast she was running, she had no time to stop!
"Kana, watch out!"
