While the Regalons entered the Chaotic Dimension of Warring Phantoms, an event was about to occur in the third layer that was going to affect the House of Regalons directly.
The third layer was entirely different from the second layer and the first layer. Its structure was wholly absurd in a sense.
In there, the 3000 cosmos bubbles were connected to each other physically, forming a ring.
But in the middle, where the majority of the third layer’s space had formed with Grimworld Tree’s powers, there was the center of everything—Abyssal Grim Tower, the focus of progress and power in the third layer.
At the top of the tower were the seven thrones while the five mystics roamed randomly according to the whims of their powers, birthed from the Grimworld Tree’s roots to aid in this whole big project of the Grimworld Tree.
People born here or people who ascended here as the apex Supreme Emperor had two options.
First, gathering followers to accept your Geneline and build a Deity Familia with you as the Chief God, or becoming a member of another Deity Familia.
The strongest of Deity Familias basically lived in the supremely advanced and resourceful floors of the tower, where there were fixed territories on the floors, and Deity Familias had to fight to gain a better territory, while the weakest of Deity Familias lived in one of the three thousand cosmoses around the tower.
The entire progress in the third layer was related to the Deity Familia and the climbing of Abyssal Grim Tower.
The only beings without Deity Familias were the five Mystics, who were entirely unpredictable lifeforms made of pure conceptual powers.
Many Deity Familias had climbed the tower high, but only a few could reach the very top to attain one of the seven thrones and become the true rulers and eternal until losing the throne to another one.
The last time a throne changed the owner was four thousand years ago, but the conquest of others to take the thrones never ceased.
And now, one of the Deity Familia, whose Chief God had once attained one of the seven thrones, was on the verge of destruction.
Previously called Achromatic Familia seven thousand years ago when their Chief God was a throne, but when another snatched that throne, and the Chief God died, the Achromatic Familia survived with the law that their Chief God established while he was a throne owner, sacrificing his entirity to the continuation of his Geneline.
Black Will Temples were scattered across the third layer’s Tower, as well as included in planets of the first layer that got Grimworld’s Tutorial.
The survivors of the now Ruined Achromatic Familia would acquire a candidate suitable to be their Chief God via the trials of Black Will Temples scattered across the two layers and sustain themselves, rising in the tower, and progressing.
But none of the new Chief Gods managed to reach the upper floors in the tower despite getting a legacy boost from the ancestral Chief God, who was once a throne owner.
Now, the current generation of Ruined Achromatic Familia was barely a few hundred, living in one of the cosmoses as a low-tier Deity Familia, and were waiting for their new candidate.

It was a small valley with a thin forest and covered with a black dome, preventing outsiders from seeing inside but somehow making it so that for the people inside, the black dome didn’t exist at all visually, allowing light to pass through and people to look at the sky.
There was a small town in the valley, ruled by the Ruined Achromatic Familia with a population of three hundred and forty people.
In the Chief Palace, the current temporary Chief God was sitting in the garden with a heavy expression on her face.
A man and woman in their thirties stood nearby, their leather attire was that of hunters.
“How long until we have to wait, Chief?” the woman asked, her eyes pained. “I lost my kid, and if we wait longer, more of us will die.”
“She must understand now!” The man clenched his fist. “We’ve waited long enough.”
The Chief woman had dark red hair and a few wrinkles on her face that looked in her forties.
“She is a big hope. According to Black Will Temple, she is a top-class candidate, the ones that we have rarely gotten, and all of them have raised our familia high in the tower.”
“But we will die if we wait longer!” the man gnashed his teeth. “She can receive the ultimate legacy that no one else in the third layer can have! Even if she is not an Apex Supreme Emperor yet, the Achromatic Throne will make her reach there in one day with the progress dimension our ancestral chief god had created!”
“Once she is here, none of those fuckers will dare to make a move on us, so please, chief! We only have one day now!”
The woman bit her lips and pleaded, “If she is rejecting the call, you can still forcefully pull her here.”
“I know,” the chief said as she sighed. “I will do that. She has reached Immortal-King now, and is quite powerful already, comparable to apex Supreme Emperors.”
“Then, what’s the delay?” the man asked, surprised and also agitated. “If she is that strong, it’s fine! Pull her up. If she is that talented, then once she receives the legacy, she will empower our entire Familia with new blessings she creates. We won’t be so helpless anymore!”
“I know,” the chief said, taking a deep breath. “You go and continue your duty. I will summon our official 78th Chief God by tomorrow. She will contest for the Ruined Achromatic Throne to determine her legacy boost, and the day after tomorrow, we will rise from our ashes.”

The Regalons were having a lot of fun alongside pain in the Chaotic Dimension of Warring Phantoms.
The governing laws of this dimension and the mode of acquiring resources are naturally different from the first top-tier Chaotic Dimension they experienced.
In here, there was a vast unknown world to explore with all the resources guarded by strange Phantoms of varying powers.
Everyone explored around their way, challenging Phantoms and acquiring resources.
There was also a progress bar in the sky, indicating that once a certain amount of Phantoms were defeated, the second stage of this chaotic dimension would begin.
Everyone was raring for it because Admiral Rudra had acquired superb resources from the treasure chest he got by clearing the 100th floor in the previous top-tier Chaotic Dimension.
Admiral Rudra used up all his resources and progressed himself significantly that he was able to break Almond’s powers at his full power and was slightly stronger than Lily when going all out since he could break Lily’s debuffs and become immune to negative effects.
He also progressed faster than Almond and Lily in terms of gaining foundational stats due to the resources, though Almond and Lily had caught up to him over the year, so all three of them were at the peak of Immortal-king rank, except that Almond was a bit overpowered with his 17k Arcane Constitution.
At the moment, Almond, Lily, and other stronger Regalons were at the deeper part of this dimension, challenging more powerful Phantoms.
And Lily was about to have a proper contact with a person from the third layer.
