Nirel, the person mentioned, was the second Immortal-rank powerhouse but someone who had just recently broken through.
He was a demon race individual with antenna-like four horns and a thin and short body frame of 5’6 which had light blue skin and triangular ears.
With a flat expression, he said in a firm voice. “With Brian dead, I am taking the leadership of this Faction as per set rules.”
“We will no longer conflict with the Mad Nuts faction,” Nirel spoke as he looked at Harken. “If anyone has an objection, they can leave the faction.”
“So you are no longer going to get in our asses?” Karven asked in surprise.

The Crimson River faction left while Almond and others stayed in the stronghold because Almond wanted to elevate his combat style.
The main thing was creating specific energy structures for different ‘types’ of abilities, like those frontline powerhouses, especially the Immortal Kings.
‘This can affect my Bloodline manifestation, so I better do it right.’
‘First, I’ll create an offense-oriented energy.’
Overviewing his Arcane Board, Almond began cooking.
‘Begin the asset assembly and sequence construction in a new matrix.’
‘Add Golden Haze Lightning’s attributes, minus the variant effects that are support-related.’
‘Space element’s attributes, with more emphasis on condensing and compression aspects of space matter in the manipulation of physical distance within tiny space and the tiny space’s physical size in the material layer.’
‘Sand of Vibrant Waves… has great beneficial attributes in the offense. Each grain of sand I make with this element is a tiny luminescent golden-brown shard with the powers of Earth and Wind elements, but enchanted with the concept of Vibrant Waves to make the sand extremely lethal.’
‘I’ve also created some technical assets resulting from the interaction between Sand and Light, but I need to go about adding only the aspects that can contribute to the energy of the offense matrix I am creating, which I will use to derive all of my blade-based attacks.’
‘Alright, that’s it. I’ll add synergized attributes of Sand of Vibrant Waves and Golden Haze Lightning mixed. That’s better since I’ll keep my nano-blade foundation structure in all my attacks.’
‘Lumeir, the combined power of Wind and Light. This is important, and from it, I need the flow, speed, and Lumeir’s guiding atmosphere for lightning to travel unpredictably. As long as Lumeir’s aspects are working, my attacks will be the fastest and most unpredictable.’
‘Now, adding the conceptual power of Sever from my Riftveil Grimblade source….’
‘Huh? It took 18% of the matrix’s capacity on its own…I guess this isn’t adjustable since it’s a conceptual power. But this is perfect. I can adjust and decide what I need to sever through my attacks on my targets. The smaller the things, the lower my mental cost of this, and I can get desired results depending on how I use it.’
‘Alright. It’s done. Let’s call this the Blade King Matrix. As I make progress, I’ll just need to improve and modify it.’
Almond opened his eyes and looked at his palm.
A second later, a liquidy-looking semi-translucent energy manifested. It looked black with a blurry-type dark golden and dark silver stream of waves within it.
With a thought, the energy activated.
Almond instantly designed a sequence using Hyper Plane as the energy transformed into a long dagger with a spiraling crystal structure like a snake around its blade, spinning rapidly.
‘Now, what interesting ways I should use this to make it powerful?’
‘Let’s see…’
Spotting an Immortal-ranked Griminion two kilometers away from the stronghold using his domain, Almond flicked his finger.
*Swoosh!*
Inside a spatial sphere, the dagger seemed to fly.
The dagger crackled with sparks and hummed as Almond made it fly through a large distance of space, gathering as much kinetic energy as possible.
‘Wait, my spatial dimension is breaking…’ Almond’s eyes glinted. ‘What if I increase the dagger’s speed and power to maximum, enough to break my spatial dimension and make it so that then when it exits, it’ll directly enter into a ready-made spatial tunnel leading it directly to my target.’
“Brother, that looks dangerous.”
Zek wryly smiled as he saw the dagger humming and glowing brighter and brighter, but its light was condensed and compressed around the dagger, not expanding.
“Fuck, it’s shattering. Boss, that’s not gonna explode, right?”
“That dagger gives me creeps.”
Suddenly, the spatial dimension went black and vanished as everyone heard a loud boom, startling everyone in the surroundings.
Meanwhile, the dagger appeared right in front of an Immortal-rank Griminion that looked like a whale with antlers but with fiery-scaled skin.
The tiny sharp dagger that was the size of an elbow was nothing in comparison to Immortal-rank Griminion which was 86 meters long and giant in size.
‘Spin and shred.’ Almond’s eyes glinted as he applied Spiral Edge around the dagger, going on full offense.
However, when that dagger struck the whale, it drilled inside and expanded into a bigger blade with sharp, spinning-bladed spirals around it. The entire monster began twisting from outside as it issued a loud screech. Inside its body, the spin was horrible as all the organs and flesh of the monster were shredded by the spinning-bladed spirals while it felt constant shock to its flesh, and its energy was disrupted.
In just a second, the giant whale was twisted and shredded into a lump of flesh as blood rained down along with its flesh as it died.
‘Fuck, that was just a 500,000 Prana attack and it worked like that against such a big-ass Immortal-rank Griminion?’ Almond was dumbfounded…and then excited!
The energy he created for his offense-oriented attack was crazy! This was just a makeshift product of that energy, and now, he would be able to design various kinds of attacks according to the situation with this energy!
Though he wouldn’t need to go on much variety, considering his unmissable accuracy thanks to space elemental mastery.

“You all, it’s time to resume my combat activity. Let’s go,” Almond grinned. “We are gonna earn as many Academy Points as we can with this mission.”
“But Boss, Griminions are getting increasingly stronger. The strongest of them are coming soon.”
“Whatchu you afraid of you, bitch? Nothing’s happening to us with Almond around.”
Almond waved his hand and teleported everyone near the frontlines but within his spatial veil.
“Stay here, observe whatever you can to learn, and chill. Just make sure you react instantly when I nudge you in your mind for Soul energy transfer.”
“Roger, boss!”
“This isn’t how I expected we would do in this mission,” Karven weakly smiled.
“True. You’re going to leave us far behind soon,” Zek chuckled.
“Don’t worry, you will have plenty of time to catch up to me soon because I am going to be very busy handling my avatar on the first layer,” Almond said before turning to the chaotic and intense battle of Immortal Kings.
Clenching his fist, Almond’s eyes blazed. ‘I’m coming soon, and we are winning the war so we can all ascend here with our planet.’
