They arrived at the Quest Log facility and entered the door leading to the world on which their mission was located.

Lemiroh Stronghold, Planet Strain, Cosmos Drenox, Layer Two Grimworld.
This stronghold had a row of walls stretching 10 kilometers that once housed a lot of people but now became the first wall of defense against the incoming Griminion Tide.
Inside were tens of thousands of people, most being this world’s native powerhouses, but there were also powerhouses from other planets of Cosmos Drenox.
Many people were very strong, some even at Immortal King lifeform rank as the intensity of this tide required Immortal Kings due to the presence of Griminion Kings in the tide detected by Layer Two Watch Towers Association.
This planet had help from multiple parties, so it was bound to survive the destruction of Griminion Tide.
And so, the academy used it as a mission for students to acquire some experience and give them points.
The academy students had a separate area in the stronghold for their camping spots.
The number of factions participating was ten, which was the maximum allowed number from the academy and all of them were, including the one that threatened Almond before.

In the center where the members sat and put up a campfire, the leader Brian Vexfleet suddenly narrowed his eyes, “He is here.”
A member also arrived a second later and reported, “Leader, Almond just arrived in his faction’s camp.”
“Let’s go and greet him, shall we?” Brian smiled widely, but it looked just as nefarious as the glint in his eyes.
“Yeah, one last time,” Harken grinned. “Because they aren’t returning to Academy from here.”
Although students were not allowed to fight in the academy grounds, there was no stopping anyone from doing anything outside the academy grounds.
As such, accepting missions always came with multiple risks, especially in cases where multiple factions could accept the mission, and the majority of the missions were like that.
In the Mad Nuts Faction camping area, Almond met with Karven and other members and just sat down to focus and begin improving his abilities now that he properly awakened space elemental mastery.
However, before he could start, someone hurried into the center and shouted, “Members of the Crimson River faction are here!”
Almond raised his eyebrows and got up as he went past the tent border and arrived outside to see Brian, Harken, and several other members behind them.
“Look at you, becoming a faction master with full members already,” Brian smiled and stretched his hand. Congratulations.”
“Thanks, but I am not interested in shaking hands or speaking pleasantries,” Almond said with a flat expression. “Why are you here?”
“Humph, just letting you know to enjoy your last moments because who knows what happens amidst the Griminion Tide,” Harken snorted.
“Indeed. Some beasts are very powerful, you know?” Brian narrowed his eyes. “Anyway, we just came here to greet you and warn you to be careful since you all are newbies.”
“Good luck.”
Seeing them leaving, Zek said, “They will definitely make a move.”
“Damn, are they really gonna attack us? We are fucked.”
“Relax. We all got a Return Device from the Quest Log hall for our mission. That thing is also a saving option because using it will instantly transport us back to the Quest Log Hall.”
“Yeah, right. We just have to always be ready to fucking use it and not get head-shot by them.”
“We aren’t that weak, y’all! Only two of them are at Immortal lifeform rank. The rest of them are still Mortals and High Mortals like us, humph. And I don’t think we can focus on each other while having to deal with beasts.”
While the members were talking to each other, Almond was in thought for a minute before he silenced every one by sealing space around their mouths.
Everyone became silent when their ears couldn’t hear anything despite their mouths moving and turned to Almond.
“I have an idea,” Almond said with a sharp smile. “Since we still have time, let’s make a plan and a formation. And let me equip you all with some one-time use items.”
Everyone arrived at the center of their camping area.
Almond first sealed the area with a spatial veil to prevent prying eyes and ears if the Crimson River faction put any on them.
Afterward, he took out hundreds of items and made a mountain of them.
He also summoned Meliora the Elixir of Chaos, who had been training non-stop in spirit pocket to increase her stats. With Almond having complete control over his class source, Spirit Pocket was no longer a dark space.
Instead, the spirit wraiths he put inside could see and hear everything from inside, and Almond also made the spirit pocket look beautiful, like a plain of grass with a peaceful atmosphere.
And with the connection Almond could get with his Spirit Wraith, he made it such that Meliora could see what he saw and the thoughts that he produced when training, making it such that he relayed his understanding of Prana Art, Soul Art, and the training he did to Meliora.
As such, Meliora was exploring her own body and training in her ways to increase her stats as per Almond’s command because unlike before, Almond had to make sure his Spirit Wriaths could get stronger in new ways.
“Meliora, create 50 sets of regular recovery and debuff potions.”
“Fifty sets? That would take time unless I am provided with Prana,” Meliora blinked.
Almond told some of the members to provide Meliora with continuous Prana as she began churning out potions.
“As expected of our leader, he is already more prepared than us~”
“Boss, she is just bootlicking you. Don’t listen to her.”
“Shut your bitchy mouth, Livi.”
“But these items are nice,” Karven picked one and inspected its structure. “I don’t know how it’s made, but I can sense a specific power in it, very refined.”
“You said it’s one-time use, huh? Interesting.”
Almond just finished with a chart and waved his hand as he sent it directly into their minds after consuming some Prana.
‘He breached my mind barrier just like that?’ Karven wryly smiled.
Everyone also gulped because it didn’t feel like they even resisted the invasion. They didn’t even feel it and Almond’s chart was already inside their mind.
“I just sent you all the details about the items. There are four kinds of items and a bit less than four hundred items total. Distribute them among yourselves.”
‘Almond, what did you do just now?’
Almond heard Zek’s voice and also Karven asking a similar question.
But he expected questions, so he answered, ‘Don’t sweat it too much. I convinced your will that I am not harmful and breached past your defenses, but you didn’t realize it because it all happened in a very subconscious way.’
‘Anyway, don’t sweat it too much. If I had harmful intentions, you would have known.’
‘But you still can breach, right?’ Karven asked curiously.
‘Well…I can, and you can resist, which I also can make it de-resist.’

With his Will reaching 300, even Almond didn’t know to what extent he could empower himself and influence his will-based powers with his Will.
But one thing was for sure, he wasn’t going to be threatened by that Brian Vexfleet.
Soon, the items were distributed and Almond began the meeting of their combat formation, revolving around him, Karven, and Zek.
Aside from him, Karven and Zek were the strongest in his faction. They tried to convince other top newbies who had won the top ten spot alongside them in Survival Event, but they joined more famous and strong factions instead of a new one headed by a newbie.
Roughly half an hour later, Almond was done with explaining and sat down in focus to begin improving his abilities.
The call to battle would start once the Giminion Tide was ten kilometers away from the stronghold.
There were already powerhouses outside and they were tasked to lead the tide towards the stronghold in case it split into other directions.
An hour passed by soon, and a loud horn rang in the stronghold.
It was time.
