“Humph, no one can beat the Emperor of Midnight Empire,” El snorted before he turned to the Forest-Elves siblings, “Let’s go. Get the bird to return before the barrier deactivates. We can’t handle him right with just us.”
Almond continued to observe the group until they left his range of 4 kilometers and saw that the barrier was still maintained till they left.
‘It must be based on duration, but to have a Tier-5 defensive artifact…it must be on the same level as the Patel clan’s defensive lotus artifact.’
Almond redirected the flames, and fortunately, the damage to the tribe was minimal with no one dying and only some structure razing due to some amount of flame that poured down before Almond began redirecting it.
The dot poured out flames for thirty-four seconds before stopping.
‘I didn’t get full details of those artifacts even with my All-Seeing Eyes. I guess I need to rank up, to get the eyes to see through stronger stuff.’
“Thank you for helping us,” the snake tribe bowed while cupping his fist. “If it wasn’t for you, those flames would have caused so much destruction and loss for us.”
‘This tribe and the Paglan tribe are enemies, so I’ll make a different alliance for this,’ Almond internally grinned.
“I can protect your tribe, and we can also work together to unify this land,” Almond smiled. “What do you say, want to form an alliance?”
“You had no reason to help us, yet you did. So, I see no reason to reject this offer, mighty human.”
The tribe chief extended his hand with a smile.
Almond laughed and shook hands as he nodded, “Good decision. From now on, don’t bother with the Paglan tribe. I will handle them. You save your energy and stay defensive.”
“I am also going to build a portal here and connect it to another at my base, so me and my people can come here in case of emergency.”
“That’s fantastic,” the tribe chief nodded with shining eyes. “But our scuffle with the Paglan Tribe won’t end since both of us have to visit the Forest of Seeds.”
“Hmmm…” Almond thought for a moment and said, “Then do you know any other place with resources?”
“There is one, but it belongs to Hawkfrey Tribe. It’s farther than Forest of Seeds for us, and it’s a mountain instead of a forest, which is more advantageous to the Hawkfrey Tribe.”
“Hawkfrey Triebe, eh?” Almond’s eyes flickered as he smiled, “I’ll go and check it out first.”

Almond flew toward the direction of the Hawkfrey Tribe as pointed by the Serpensha tribe chief, and soon arrived there.
However, he saw that there were three wyverns floating above the tribe.
Inspecting further in, Almond saw fifteen Draconites, humanoids with draconic features, in the palace at a table.
“It seems that someone is observing me,” A handsome draconite with shining purple-gold scales suddenly muttered as his eyes flickered.
“What happened, Veirat?”
Almond could also hear the words and immediatly narrowed his eyes hearing the name ‘Veirat’ because it belonged to the second ranker who scored 153k points in War Participating Trial.
‘If Hawkfrey Tribe is already allied with the Empyradrake Planet’s people, then I don’t need to hold back,’ Almond’s eyes glinted.
He was three kilometers away from the tribe, so if he attacked from here, they wouldn’t even know what hit them, and who hit them.
‘The resourceful mountain must be that mountain in the east. Let me see if there are Hawkfreys there first.’
After teleporting once, the mountain came under his radar, and indeed, he actually found a whole troop of Hawkfrey Tribesmen, numbering over twenty.

Almond killed them instantly and stored their spirits.
Afterward, he aimed his sword in the Hawkfrey Tribe’s direction he was still roughly three kilometers away from it.
‘Mhmm, If I can design the structure further like this, then the slash will get bigger and bigger the more it travels by absorbing space,’ Almond’s eyes glinted. ‘I should try.’

“It’s gone, but I’m sure someone was observing us. Otherwise, my third eye wouldn’t react,” Veirat said with conviction as the third eye on his forehead shone with a purple spark in its pupil.
“If my tribe’s Hawk Towers didn’t detect anything, then this can’t be Nossel Tribe’s scout,” Hawkfrey tribe chief frowned. “It must be someone better.”
“Veirat, I send the wyverns to patrol. We’ll see if we can find anything.”
“They won’t find anything. Unlike other items, I myself failed to detect the gaze or read its intention. Only my reaction and that’s how I knew,” Veirat narrowed his eyes. “This enemy is powerful.”
Suddenly, his expression changed, and so did the expression of the Hawkfrey Tribe Chief as both of them looked in the same direction.
A huge slash 50 meters wide streaked at their tribes, slashing their gates, destroying houses, and splitting Hawkfrey tribesmen before it was stopped at the table in the palace, held by quick barriers from the tribe chief, Varait, and one more Draconite who reacted quickly.
But their barriers shattered almost instantly as two Draconites died before another barrier sprung up and stopped the slash, albeit only for briefly, as it continued a few centimeters before it was stopped by a Legendary item’s effect that Veirat had used, which took a second to fully activate.
“Noo! Sillcia!”
“Damn it! Who was it?!”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!”
“My tribe,” Hawkfrey tribe chief’s lips trembled as he saw the devastation brought by that attack in his tribe, causing his eyes to turn red.
Meanwhile, Almond got a notification of acquiring 2000 Battlefield points personally for killing two people of Planet Empyradrake.
‘Allying with a tribe gives 5000 cumulative points, so we earned 15k already.’
Almond checked out the leaderboard.

‘But we have to be careful. For now, I should send the groups to check out some of the other spots I found, and ally with more tribes in the southwest and southeast.’
Almond looked at the pillars of light in the southwest and southeast that he hadn’t visited yet, but first, he created a portal and connected it with the portal at the base to directly cross over 200 kilometers instead of constantly crossing 4 kilometers per second.
