But contrary to his expectations, Iris was still wide awake as she was smirking at Allen’s pitiful attempt. And at that time, Allen remembered why his attack didn’t work on her.
“Master, that won’t work. I don’t know why, but I seem to be invulnerable to any attacks. I also don’t know why I became a lot more beautiful than before but I can guess that it’s your doing, right?”
Allen didn’t respond to Iris’ question as he was mentally face-palming himself for forgetting the fact that he was the one who wished for Iris to possess the <<Absolute Invulnerability>> skill.
And because of that skill, his attacks won’t deal damage to her since even the attacks of Supreme Beings won’t work on Iris let alone him who has yet to become a Semi-Supreme Being.
Did Allen regret wishing Iris that skill since even he couldn’t attack her? Of course not!
He was delighted that even his attacks won’t work on her since he was cautious to the point of foreseeing the possibility that he would be out of control and he might accidentally attack Iris at that time.
And because Iris possessed the <<Absolute Invulnerability>> skill, he didn’t have to worry about her being hurt by him.
“Master, I can’t do it! I thought I can. And I thought I have resolved myself to do it even if it means that you will hate me for it. But I just can’t accept the fact that you will hate me for my actions!”
Letting out those words, Iris hugged Allen as she cuddled with him. Both of their body was exchanging each other’s warmth.
