“Should I kill myself or commit suicide?”
In a neat and average room, a sixteen-year-old was holding a bottle of sleeping pills, contemplating whether he should kill himself or commit suicide.
He had messy and long blue hair that reached up to his nape, and the bags under his blue eyes showed his lack of sleep.
One might have thought that he was cramming for a test or playing games for the entire night, but it only proved that he or she was mistaken if they thought so.
Yes, he had spent the entire night contemplating whether he should kill himself or commit suicide.
It might be dumb, but if you live in a world where talent matters more than anything and you are born with a little brother who holds the title of <Supreme Inventor>, the peer pressure, insecurities, and inferiority complex will corrupt your sanity until the result is that.
A teenage boy who was tired of his life where he is only called nothing but average. He tried his best, but when faced with someone with talent, he was nothing more than an amateur when compared to a pro.
Not only that, the constant pressure that his parents gave him that went like: “Why can’t you be like your brother?” or “Why aren’t you talented like your brother?” had driven him to the point of contemplating suicide.
He wanted to blame his parents, but he can’t. He couldn’t blame his parent’s genetics because his little brother had proven that their parents’ genetics are excellent and were capable of producing a <Supreme>.
He could only blame his luck, fate, destiny, or whatever conceptual matters that resulted in him being only average.
That is the life of Allen Walker. The life of a teenage boy who walks the path of average. Too bad he doesn’t walk the Path of ALL.
After several hours of contemplation, Allen Walker had finally attained enlightenment.
“It is not whether I kill myself or I commit suicide, because I am not doing those two things. No, I am merely forfeiting my life.”
With that thought in mind, he opened the bottle of sleeping pills, but he dropped it on the ground after a notification sound alarmed him.

“I must be going insane. I should just forfeit my life and be done with it.” Allen muttered to himself after seeing the translucent screen in front of him. But before he could loathe himself for becoming insane from the pressure he had accumulated, another sound assaulted his senses.

[Hello, darling! Chuu~ Harem Protagonist System is at your service! Or do you want my service in bed instead?]
“What the?” Allen yelled in astonishment. How can a system even service him in bed in the first place?
*Ding!*
[A wild anti-loner system has appeared!]
“I might be average, but it doesn’t mean I’m a loner. I still have 2 friends!”
Allen yells towards the system screen of the anti-loner system. He swore to himself that he wouldn’t accept that system’s invitation even if he had no choice but to commit suicide or kill himself.

“That’s neat. I might praise that system if I didn’t have the impression that it only allows me to travel in the multiverse and only that. No inventory, system shop, or even status. I might as well kill myself or commit suicide rather than choose that suicidal system.”
Allen commented on the screen that displayed the Multiverse Traveler System’s invitation. He thought to himself that it was suicidal if he traveled to another world with no cheats or starter packs.

“Wait, is there more?!”

Before Allen could even choose a system, another all too familiar sound harassed his ears.

In the blink of an eye, an average-looking smartphone with a black phone case with a brand logo of ‘AMCG’ on the back appeared in front of Allen, levitating in the air.
Allen was still dumbfounded by what had occurred, so he wasn’t able to catch the smartphone and prevent it from falling to the ground.
The average-looking smartphone fell to the ground since it wasn’t able to defy the laws of gravity. It was as average as an average smartphone is. The only thing that wasn’t average about the phone was its durability.

This time, it was no longer a system screen text only, but both a system screen text and the cold, robotic voice of the system A.I.
Although Allen was average, he wasn’t dumb. After all, only a smart person contemplates the difference between committing suicide and killing himself but then comes up with the conclusion that forfeiting his life is better.
So, Allen snaps back into reality as he picks up the smartphone from the ground and grasped it in his hand. He pushed the ON button, which caused the screen on the smartphone to light up and display a message.
