Chapter 403-Moon Goddess’s Clone
While the tournament was ongoing, one of Dave’s clones resided within his domain.
Dave looked at Ciela, who had now healed some of her injuries, although he had sealed her cultivation.
“Let me go, you bastard,”
Ciela shouted, filled with despair. Dave smirked, gazing at her with a playful smile as he spoke.
“Hehe, you’re attempting to control me using that forbidden technique of yours, using your own daughter. However, your luck has run out since you targeted me,”
Dave taunted. Ciela was stunned, and realization dawned on her.
“So, you already knew,” she realized why Dave had thwarted her plans; he held a grudge against her.
She sensed that Lucy had changed when she returned, and her intuition told her as much.
She regretted targeting such a monstrously gifted genius; his power was so formidable that even though she was at the peak of Saint-Sovereign, he easily subdued her.
Dave smiled, removing his clothes as he said, “It’s time for your punishment.”
Ciela was astonished but powerless against Dave; she could only accept her fate.

After extracting some sin points from her due to her strong powers, he decided to place a slave mark on her.
This mark would bind her to assist Lucy in managing the Moon Clan.
He allowed her to change her appearance so that she would remain hidden, considering that everyone in the Moon race was likely angered by her.
Her actions had nearly pushed many of them to the brink of death, and she hadn’t hesitated to sacrifice them all for power.
After settling scores with her, he went to a secret location where he had hidden the clone of the Moon God.
Upon arrival, he found her struggling against the chains he had bound her with, preventing her from moving her body.
“Hate..ful,” she spat venomously.
“I’ll kill you.”
“Hehehe,” she laughed maniacally upon seeing him, amusing Dave.
With a flick of his fingers, the chains restraining her vanished, and she rushed at him, delivering a punch.

Her small fist bled from the impact, but how could she damage Dave’s body, which was powerful enough to annihilate planets, especially when her cultivation had been sealed by him?
Dave held her by the waist, pulling her close.
“Hmm, you are truly beautiful. It’s a pity that I can touch you but not savor you,”
Dave remarked. He avoided attempting to read her memories, aware that she was a clone of a god.
A god’s soul was sacred, and even his limited powers had been cautioned by the system in this regard.
There were also restrictions within her, likely placed by the Moon Goddess herself, which the clone was unaware of.
These restrictions safeguarded the clone’s memories, preventing others from learning the Moon Goddess’s secrets and protecting her from exploitation by lecherous individuals.
Dave deduced that the Moon God must have been aware of the clone’s actions all along but had chosen to overlook them.
Unable to engage in any improper activities with her, and considering her clone status, which would essentially equate such actions to having relations with the Moon Goddess, Dave decided to devour her.
He believed that doing so would grant him significant powers.
“Release me!” she roared, her eyes bloodshot.
Her appearance had shifted from that of a cute girl a while ago, but Dave remained unfazed.
If benefiting from her meant consuming her, he had no qualms.
Dave recognized that devouring her would catch the Moon God’s attention, but he was confident in his ability to remain undetected and that the blame would likely fall on the demon lineage of Gluttony Demons.

Suddenly, a black whirlpool materialized above her, swiftly engulfing her. She lacked the power to resist, and she was swiftly drawn into the vortex.
Swoosh! Dave absorbed her essence, realizing that his Moon Magic, which he had acquired from Blizzard, his contracted pet, was evolving.
Although he lacked a system to announce the changes, he could still sense the transformation occurring within his body.
“Absolute Moon?”
“Oh? My moon magic was undergoing evolution after devouring her and I need to reach Transcendent Being before I can use the power of it?”
“Oh so the clone is carrying 1/8 of the real moon goddess origin who is the sole ruler of the moon so I can be considered as a semi-deity because I absorb some of her origins”
“All people who have been blessed by moon magic cannot harm me except for the moon goddess huh?”
“But the cultivation needed to use the Absolute Moon is high.”
Dave contemplated but he was confident to reach that level in the future.
As the devouring process ended, he suddenly realized something.
“What is this?”
A crescent moon shape crystal appears in front of his hands, and it was huge as his whole palm.
It was shining brightly, and he used his Ancient Eyes to scan the item.

Dave was stunned and he inspected the item, but he cannot see through it.
“What? I can’t absorb them even if I have the power of the moon’s origin?”
“Fvck, I miss asking the shameless system for information.”
He didn’t know why he cannot absorb it but after contemplating for a while and brainstorming, he realized something.
“Hmm, maybe because the moon’s origin is higher, and I don’t need to absorb it any longer.”
“So, this crystal is for the chosen heroes of the moon god to make them stronger?”
“If my hypothesis is right, then Blizzard will benefit from it for sure.”
Dave was not sure, but he feels that his hypothesis is correct. He decided to not dwell on it for a little longer and he can try to prove it later.

A beautiful woman who is overlooking many worlds with her beautiful white eyes suddenly feels something. Her figure is covered by a hazy bluish-white light, but her eyes cannot be hidden her brilliance.
“Oh? My rebellious clone has died?”
“Who did it?”
She flicked her fingers and she deduce some things using some mysterious powers and learned a few things.
“OH? The skill from Beelzebub lineage, did it?”
“My part of my moon’s origin also didn’t come back to me.”
“Even the Divine Crystal who is refined from my own blood was stolen. I was preparing it for my new chosen hero who had the highest potential.”
“Hmmp, looks like the demons have already forgotten how strong am I”?
