As Old Ming infused his mana into the token, a brilliant light enveloped the courtyard. The token glowed with a radiant energy, and before everyone’s eyes, a portal materialized, swirling with colors that seemed to dance and shift like kaleidoscopic flames.
“Let’s go,” Old Ming said, his voice steady and resolute. He stepped onto the threshold of the portal, and the group followed closely behind him.
Dave, ever composed, reached out and took Grace’s hand on his own. Their fingers intertwined, a silent reassurance passing between them. With a shared nod, they entered the portal together.
