Chapter 304-Ten Commandments
Old Ming and the rest of the geniuses settled into their arranged rooms. Old Ming was delighted because he found Dave easy to get along with, and as a result of his valuable information, Dave even rewarded him with some pills. He sternly commanded the other geniuses not to offend Dave, warning them that he wouldn’t save them if they disregarded his advice. They all understood that Dave, being the son of their Holy Son, possessed strength beyond their capabilities.
Emerald was thrilled to serve such an extraordinary person, even if it meant becoming a maid. While she was also considered a genius in the clan, she knew that her non-direct lineage to the Alexander Clan limited her chances of attaining a high position. In contrast, Dave’s status as the great-grandson of the patriarch guaranteed him a prestigious standing.
Kevin, on the other hand, was recovering from his beating at the hands of Old Ming, but he still harbored resentment. Dave was technically his close relative since his father was the cousin of the holy son, but he couldn’t help feeling humiliated and unwilling to follow Dave’s orders. His father had sent him to become one of Dave’s followers, and despite his pride, he knew he had to obey and curry favor with Dave to appease his father.
Deep down, Kevin believed that someone from the Mortal Plane didn’t deserve his recognition, but he was taken aback by Dave’s immense strength, which he couldn’t even fathom. He learned from Old Ming that even Old Ming himself wasn’t certain if he could defeat Dave. This realization filled him with fear and made him question how he could become stronger while being accompanied by someone as powerful as Xegron, whose killing intent was directed at him. If it weren’t for Old Ming’s intervention, he believed he might not have made it out alive, sensing that Dave cared little about his life.
Old Ming advised Kevin to apologize to Dave, but witnessing Lucy’s flirtatious behavior with Dave, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Lucy’s newfound attraction to Dave was a shock to him, as he had always seen her as a goddess, noble and rejecting any advances. Kevin acknowledged his powerlessness in front of Dave and decided that in the future, he would seek revenge and warned Lucy to stay away from Dave, believing him to be a dangerous person. He trailed behind Old Ming, feeling defeated and anxious about the implications of his actions for his family.
Unbeknownst to Kevin, Xegron still harbored a grudge against him and remained on guard, ready to teach him a lesson, even though Dave had stopped him. Xegron’s loyalty to his master, Dave, was unwavering, and he couldn’t bear to see him disrespected.
Dave, however, paid little attention to Kevin’s behavior, seeing the three geniuses as potential underlings when he entered the Alexander domain. Since they were sent by his father, Dave intended to treat them well and make use of their abilities.
Emerald, meanwhile, accompanied Lucy and persistently asked why she acted the way she did around Dave. Lucy’s mysterious demeanor puzzled Emerald. Both of them were chosen to join the clan and nurtured from the age of twelve. Lucy was exceptionally talented and was known for her beauty and prodigious abilities in the clan, which is why she was selected to serve Dave.
Lucy evaded Emerald’s inquiries, simply attributing her attraction to Dave’s handsome face. However, Emerald sensed that there might be more to it than just physical appearance. While she was also drawn to Dave, she didn’t let her feelings overwhelm her to the point of acting like a fan girl, unlike Lucy.

At night, Dave lay on his bed, his hands holding various energies floating beside him. These energies were the laws he had mastered, and he felt a strong sense of control over them.
The power of reaching the perfected stage was truly astonishing. With his perfected law of water, he realized he could manipulate water with absolute precision, rendering water-based attacks useless against him.
Similarly, his control over fire had greatly improved thanks to his perfected law of fire, which even drew Flamy, his primordial fire, closer to him.
Dave intended to use Flamy’s power to strengthen his Golden Overlord body, but he lacked the necessary materials for the enhancement.

He knew his previous self would be no match for his current form without using his other means.
Dave decided to investigate the connection between the Alexander Clan and the Heavenly Titan Race through his newly subordinate, Kaigu.
Kaigu revealed that he was one of the Supreme Elders of the Heavenly Titan Race in the celestial plane, a race that rarely showed itself.
Kaigu’s memories were hazy, but he recalled that his clan had faced a disaster when one of their members offended the Dark God of the God Race.
Despite being on par with the Dark God in strength, the latter resorted to scheming and called for help from the Fire God, ultimately ambushing Kaigu.
Although Kaigu fought valiantly, he was fatally injured in the battle. The circumstances of his resurrection remained unclear, but before he died, he commanded his clan to seal themselves and hide in their domain to avoid retaliation from the God Race.
Kaigu was not afraid of the God Race since there were many in his clan with similar power levels, but he sought to protect his clan from further damage, knowing that the God Race held greater overall power.
He admitted that he didn’t know the exact number of Gods, but he mentioned that they outnumbered the demon kings.
The demon race had only seven demon kings, but they could fight three normal gods simultaneously. He further explained that while demons were generally stronger than gods in one-on-one battles, there were exceptions, such as the Goddess of Light and the feared Sword Goddess, who were exceptionally powerful.
Among the Gods, there were the top 10 ranked deities known as the 10 Commandments, each carrying unique and extraordinary powers. Both the Sword Goddess and the Goddess of Light belonged to the 10 Commandments. As for the other gods, Kaigu wasn’t familiar with them, despite his old age.
