Chapter 301-The Envoys
Three days had passed in the outside world, and Dave returned to the Fexir Empire to investigate why the Alexander Clan had sent their envoy to this world.
He found Grace still cultivating, and within just 3 days, her strength had reached the Imperial King level due to the energy he supplied. He didn’t disturb her and went to the event on his own.
The palace was bustling with feasting and decorations as everyone had heard about the envoy from the Alexander Clan visiting their empire. Many families were invited by the emperor to join the event, and even the emperor was nervous when facing the envoy.
People were worried about offending the envoy, so they tried to impress them with their best efforts. The emperor, after being busy for three days, was now sitting on his throne, while many families chatted with each other.
Dave also appeared in the crowd, and many recognized him. No one dared to offend him, and many tried to gain his favor. Dave acted aloof and cold, which excited many ladies from prominent clans who wanted to know more about him. However, his cold demeanor was just an act to earn sin points.
His aura was awe-inspiring, and combined with his handsome appearance, even the emperor envied him. Yudi was also sitting beside Dave, along with a muscular man wearing a white mask named Xegron. Dave decided to show Xegron to everyone. While Xegron’s aura was weaker than Yudi, Xegron’s fighting prowess surpassed Yudi’s.
Dave had left Flamy and Eldrich in his space world to get used to it. He also established an Alchemy Hall and assigned Eldrich to teach alchemy to some people, leading them in their studies. Flamy became Eldrich’s assistant, even though he wasn’t keen on the idea. Flamy also created a clone that now floated around Dave like small particles, making him appear more mysterious and enchanting. Draco sat beside Dave, eating food as if no one else was around.
Suddenly, the guards opened the gate and shouted, “The envoys are here!” An old man wearing golden ancient clothes led three young people. There were two women and one man, and they looked at everyone with pride, not taking them seriously. The old man wore a friendly smile, but his aura was definitely on par with the emperor and Yudi.
“An Imperial Saint King,” Dave murmured when he saw the old man exuding the power of an Imperial Saint King. He also noticed that the three youngsters behind him were only Imperial Emperors, with the strongest among them being the woman at the Low-tier Imperial Saint level.
The emperor stood up and greeted them respectfully, “I welcome you, great envoy, to my humble empire. I hope you have a good experience here.”
The old man nodded appreciatively, noticing the emperor’s respect, which pleased him. Though he was just a servant in the clan, acting as an envoy allowed him to behave like an elder of the clan.
“My name is Ming, and the three geniuses behind me are from the Alexander Clan,” he introduced.
“Please, young Misses and young Master,” he said, acting as though he was still a guard of the three. The status of these three youngsters was very high for an Imperial Saint King to be serving them.
“My name is Emerald Alexander, and I greet the emperor,” said the beautiful woman, whose height was 5’7 with long black hair. However, she maintained her pride when mentioning her surname.
“I am Lucy Alexander,” said the lady next to Emerald, greeting the emperor with a respectful tone. She had long blue hair and was even more beautiful than Emerald. Dave had scanned her earlier and found that she was the strongest among the three, an Imperial Saint.
The emperor greeted them back with a calm tone, but Dave could see that he was very nervous.
Lastly, the young man spoke with arrogance. “My name is Kevin Alexander. It’s your blessing to meet me,” he said disdainfully towards the emperor. Despite being only an Imperial Saint King, he acted as if he were an emperor himself, and his numerous guards on par with the emperor made him disrespectful towards him.
The emperor felt awkward, but none of the three reprimanded him. Many realized that he might have the highest status among them.
“Ehem, I thank every clan for their participation. Let us give our full hospitality to our guests,” the emperor quickly changed the atmosphere, skillfully handling the situation. He didn’t feel provoked because he knew the Alexander Clan was strong, and he couldn’t afford to offend them.
Every clan sent gifts to the envoys, and they didn’t ask about their goal, as it would be disrespectful to inquire. Instead, they displayed their hospitality, and some even tried to curry favor with them.
Dave noticed that Ryan was not present, but he assumed he was still training, so he didn’t bother. He sensed that there might be an interesting show about to happen. Dave intentionally concealed his aura, not wanting to draw attention to himself, so no one bothered to talk to him.
After an hour of feasting, the old man, Ming, stood up near the emperor and addressed him. “We are here because our holy son commanded us to find his son, who is in this world. I hope that the emperor will help us locate him.”
The emperor was stunned, not expecting that the holy son of the Alexander Clan had a son in his world. He replied, “Of course, I will help you to the best of my abilities. Please provide me with some specifics about his appearance.”
Ming nodded and explained, “The Holy Son said that his son is definitely the most handsome youngster. If you see a very handsome young man with long red hair, that’s him. His name is Dave Alexander.”
The specificity of the description was surprising, but they couldn’t disobey the holy son’s instructions. The holy son had also sent three people to be his son’s underlings to help him manage himself, fearing his son might create trouble.
