After the army of the alliance entered the Dragon Empire, what they saw is not something they expected. They thought that they would meet the retaliation of the empire’s army, but they only saw a handsome youngster sitting on a chair and looking at them amusedly.
Dave’s voice echoed throughout the area, causing the seven clan leaders to look around in confusion. They couldn’t believe that the ruler of the Dragon Empire was just a young man who looked barely in his twenties.
“Well, well, well, I commend you all for destroying the formation I created back then. Although you took so long to break it, I still applaud your braveness to attack my empire.”
Dave chucked and he didn’t show anger when he said that. The formation he created can resist an attack of Immortals but against so many Immortals, it will surely be destroyed. Even so, he will create a stronger formation later after he cleans them up.
Blaze was the first to speak up, “So, you must be the infamous Dave. I expected you to be much older and stronger.”
Dave chuckled, “I’m sorry to disappoint you. But age and strength are not always synonymous, Blaze.”
Blaze was shocked at how he knew his real name. They are using their code name and only his friends and the other clan leaders knew it. He started to be more wary of him.
The seven clan leaders couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease as they watched Dave calmly sit in his chair, not even bothering to stand up. They had heard rumors about Dave’s power, but they never expected him to be this confident.
Pranton, the leader of the Water Clan, spoke up, “We are here to take down your empire, Dave. We have a treasure that can kill even the strongest of Immortals, and we are not afraid to use it.”
Dave simply smirked, “Is that so? Well, I hate to break it to you, but you won’t be able to use that treasure against me.”
“And that treasure won’t even damage my skin hehe”
The seven clan leaders exchanged confused glances. What did he mean by that?
Suddenly, Dave stood up from his chair, and the area around them seemed to tremble with his power. The seven clan leaders felt their bodies go numb as they realized that they were facing something different from the Peak-tier of Immortal.
They only feel this feeling when facing the aura of the person who lends his artifact to them. They were shocked but they refused to believe that he was at that level.
“Challenging my empire means death, are you all ready to see the underworld?,” Dave said calmly.
The soldiers behind tremble and they suddenly feel the thick killing intent by Dave and they cannot move their bodies.
Blaze stepped forward, “We’ll see about that. Attack!”
The seven clan leaders unleashed their full power, and the ground shook with their immense energy. However, Dave didn’t even flinch. He raised his hand, and a powerful barrier of energy formed around him, deflecting all their attacks.
The seven clan leaders couldn’t believe what they were seeing. Dave was easily able to block all their attacks without breaking a sweat.
Dave smiled, “Is that all you’ve got?”
“I thought that you are a lot stronger. I will give you a handicap. What about it?”
“I will not move even a single step to kill you all.”
“If I move, I will commit suicide how about that?”
He said it with a playful smile and the clan leaders were offended by his arrogance.
“No need, we are enough to kill you.”
Since their army is useless and cannot move, they decided to do it personally.
The seven clan leaders exchanged glances, realizing that they were no match for Dave in one-on-one battle. They knew that they had to be serious, and they didn’t want to leave empty-handed.
Blaze shouted, “Let’s use the treasure! We have to take him down!”
The others nodded in agreement, and they took out the treasure from their storage rings. It was a small, black crystal that seemed to pulse with dark energy.
However, before they could use it, Dave raised his hand, and a powerful blast of energy shot toward them. The seven clan leaders were sent flying back, and the crystal fell from their hands, shattering into a million pieces.
Dave looks at the treasure he destroyed casually and realized that it was a ring where the power of True Immortal is injected to release a huge explosion that may kill everyone near it, even a peak-tier Immortal.
Dave realized that if he didn’t move swiftly, the people in the empire might die.
Dave looked at them coldly, “You should have remained to hide and enjoy your life. Now, you have to face the consequences of your actions.”

As they lay on the ground, badly injured, they knew that they had made a mistake. They had thought that they could defeat Dave, but they were wrong. They could only hope that he would spare their lives and let them go.
Blaze gathered his energy and went on his knee.
“Please master Dave, I am wrong, spare me and I am willing to be your slave.”
He begged and didn’t even think of his image.
