Chapter 191-Clash
In a majestic hall, many officials are in their respective seats while they are looking at the princes standing near the throne.
Of course, it was Haslem and Henry who were fighting for the throne by showing their merits and skills to the officials.
Henry had the lead because he exploits that Haslem is impotent and attracted to the same sex and doesn’t have a possibility of having an heir someday.
It was huge news when they heard it and Haslem tried to say that it was a lie but many think that it was true as he never shows romantic interest in other females and some of them heard that Haslem likes to bring men into his room and they never came out again.
Haslem was angry and full of shame, but he didn’t back off from the competition as he already reached this point.
He didn’t expect that Henry would learn his secrets but he had a trump card that could turn the table so he was confident to win.
Suddenly, an old man with strong energy appeared in front of them and everyone was stunned as it was their current Clan Leader, Hathor.
“Clan leader”
Everyone shouted and bowed to him. They were confused about how he appeared here as he was on his death bed but they didn’t doubt him as his aura was still the same and he appears to be even stronger.
Hathor waved his hands to make them quiet and sat on the throne.
He looks at the shocked face of Henry and Haslem and replies, “Why don’t you greet your father? Do you really want me to die?”
Haslem and Henry immediately bow to him and said, “Father”
Henry was confused about how he appeared to be healthy and he was sure that the poison had already been dispelled.
Hathor looked at the crowd and said, “Actually, I am faking that I am near to death to see how you would handle the situation.”
“Well, I am not satisfied with all of your performance, so all of the officials and elders need to be punished for their negligence”
Everyone was stunned then an elderly turtle appeared and said, “But Clan leader, what did we do wrong?”
Hathor looked at the old man and replied, “Some of you didn’t appear and continued their seclusion even though we are in a state of emergency.”
“My youngest son Harrold is missing, and no one even cared about him”
“Our people live in fear because they felt not secure because of the chaos inside the clan”
“I still had many things noticed so what can you say huh?”
He looked at them with deep eyes and they felt scared of him. His eyes are now different from before and he looks more tyrannical and brutal.
Before, they can do whatever they want as they believe that Hathor won’t care as long as the clan’s safety is not affected but they are all wrong as he is secretly observing all of them.
They felt ashamed and didn’t want to look at him anymore.
“As your punishment, all of you will line up and enter my room one by one.”
He waved his hands then a man appeared in front of him, and everyone recognized that it was the butler of Hathor who is also at the level immortal.
“He will guide you all and I gave him permission to kill those who resist”
Everyone was scared as they knew how strong their clan leader was. He is not just good at decision making, he is also known for being strong and cunning.
All of them immediately follow the butler while Hathor, Haslem, and Henry are the ones left in the place.
“You know why I let you stay here?”
Haslem shakes his head as he doesn’t know what is happening right now.
Henry on the other hand is analyzing the situation and looking for a possible plan to escape here.
Hathor waved his hands then Haslem immediately lost consciousness then transferred him to a safe place.
He immediately dashed toward Henry and grabbed him by his neck.
He lifted him in the air and said, “A demon tried to destroy my clan, you really have the guts huh?”
Henry, who was stunned by what was happening and struggling with his grip suddenly smirked and replied, “Kekeke, who would have thought that my perfect plan and disguise would be discovered by a lowly turtle.”
Henry, who was originally being held by Hathor, immediately escaped from his hands with ease.
He fixed his clothes and replied, “Who are you? I am sure that you are near to dying without a doubt, I feel you are not him”
Hathor smirked and replied, “Yeah you are right, I am near to death but my master saved me from death and gave me the power of undying hehe”
He dashed forwards towards him and punched him in the face.
“Boom!”
The place is soundproof so he didn’t care about the noises and explosions.
Henry’s body was blasted by his punch then Hathor saw his face change into black and his eyes turn red.
A horn appeared on his forehead and his height changed to 4 meters.
“Roaar”
He screamed and Hathor saw Henry’s strength continue to rise to the point that he was sure that his power already surpassed his.
“I cannot fail this mission for my master”
Hathor swore in his heart, and he didn’t care even though his strength is above him because he was undead and can be revived anytime.
The demon looked at Hathor and said, “You puny turtle, you must feel envy for my strength and power. I will give you a chance to serve my lord, the 10th demon lord of envy. I promised that I will keep you alive and make you stronger”
Hathor sneered and replied disdainfully, “Your lord will kneel in front of my master so don’t expect to come out here alive”
The demon was angered by his words and replied, “Huhu, I envy you for having a chance to serve my lord but you actually refuse?”
He immediately disappeared and appeared behind Hathor and punched his back.
Boom!
Hathor was blown away and he didn’t expect his speed to be extraordinary.
Luckily, he had a strong shield, so he didn’t take serious injuries.
He immediately stands up and starts to clash with the demon.
