Chapter 124- Hall of Techniques
Elizabeth blushed but they couldn’t see her reaction as she wore a veil. It was the first time someone kissed her hand and she felt shy. She was just a woman and she felt shy when being kissed by a handsome man.
She is the same as Lucas who is at Immortal, but she feared fighting against him. She remembers that Lucas beats many geniuses back in the day and even slays an old monster living in the black turtle empire. He didn’t care about gender as he beat up anyone and said that gender equality must be spread to the world.
The 3 empires already replenished their resources and gained new experts. The only one who suffered the most is the Black turtle empire as Lucas Slay one of their Immortals. It’s hard to become Immortal to this day but she only becomes Immortal as her grandpa, who is the former guardian of the White Tiger empire passed his powers to her. They were badly injured when the war erupts against empires and clans back in the day, and they only tried to suppress their injuries to create a new foundation for the empire.
Her Grandpa saw that the empire already restored its strength, so he decided to pass his power to Elizabeth. Her grandpa passed away 5 years ago, and she became the new Guardian and the second youngest Guardian. It’s rare to see a young Immortal this day like Lucas and Elizabeth as the Immortal of the Clans, sects and Empires are 500 years old and above.
Only Lucas is the one who reached the immortal through efforts and talent so many admire and fear him. The dragon empire is even stronger than ever after he emerges, and no one knows how many Immortals the Dragon Empire produces after 500 years.
She cleared her thoughts and said, “As expected of the son of the Great Executioner, you are even more genius than your father.”
Dave smiled and answered, “Thanks for the compliment, Guardian. Do you mind if I can hear what you are talking about?”
Lucas and Elizabeth looked at each other and nodded. Lucas says, “You are now a Saint, so you have the right to hear what we are discussing.”
“We are discussing the emergence of the clans and sects. I knew that they would not be arrogant and unruly against us as they learned their lesson, but they are not afraid of other Empires. They would emerge in 2 weeks so the empires were preparing.”
“They can still become arrogant while trying to evade clashing with us so it will affect the peace and stability of the world.”
“We can reprimand them but the Dragon Empire only cares about its subjects and territories and we are not righteous. Elizabeth came here to propose an alliance and connection from the empire, so he came to me directly and not to the emperor.”
“Of course, we cannot agree without getting anything and benefitting from it.”
Elizabeth knew that it was impossible to help anyone without benefits unless they are martyrs.
She was not worried that the clans would attack their empire directly but some of them had a grudge against them so maybe they would plot and target some of their people who were only doing their jobs. She didn’t know if a new top clan emerged, but she was sure that there are many geniuses from the clans and sects.
Elizabeth answered, “I already proposed to give a slot to our Hall of techniques, but your father didn’t agree.”
Dave looked at his father and asked, “Hall of Techniques?”
Lucas smiled and answered, “The White Tiger Empire had more sword techniques than our empire and your mother also came from White Tiger Empire. The Technique Hall contains many techniques from their ancestors and most of them were sword techniques. Your mother is a sword prodigy. She even left her sword technique there and it was the most difficult to comprehend. Only the people who did great merit can enter it. We also have a technique hall but most of them were tyrannical signature techniques of our Immortals, and you are not qualified to enter it unless you reach Saint Emperor.”
Dave now understands. He badly needed sword techniques but his father is not a sword genius so he cannot ask for sword techniques. He didn’t know the origin of his mother as his father never told him but now, he learned that she came from the White Tiger Empire. He didn’t know why his father never let him know his mother’s background, but he was sure that he had a reason.
He looked at his father and said, “Father, why don’t you accept it, I needed many sword techniques as I was trying to create my sword technique.”
Lucas smiled and said, “Okay, I knew you would ask for it as I saw that you like to become a swordsman. I also see that you are now at the level of sword grandmaster.”
Dave knew that he cannot hide this from his father. When he maxed his <Sword Dragon Technique>, he achieved Sword Grand Master.
Elizabeth was stunned by their interaction, so he says, “You agree just like that? It’s hard to convince you but when your son asks, you agree so fast?”
Lucas smiled and answered, “Of course, my son’s wish comes first”
Dave smiled and knew that his father dotes him so much.
Elizabeth looked at Dave and said, “I will stay here until the tournament is finished and you will come with me to our empire”
Dave nodded and said, “Okay, please take care of me”
