Liang Wuji quickly shut his mouth and looked intently at Bai Wuji, who took out a strange stone filled with an aura of Life similar to the Life Beasts around here.
“We found this in a secret chamber outside of this core zone. I didn’t expect this to be the key here.” Bai Wuji slowly explained and brought the stone closer to the gate.
The inscriptions on the gate lit up, and a stone-sized groove appeared on it. Liang Hui and the others’ eyes lit up as they stared at the stone gate while holding their breaths.
RUMBLE! The sound of Qi quickly flowing resounded as the gate split open from the middle and began opening.
Everyone tried to see what was beyond the gate, wondering what supreme treasure it was that could do so many wondrous things here.
Shen Yuan himself inched closer to the group, trying to see what it was.

At last, the gate opened with a loud bang. But the group wore dumbfounded expressions as they couldn’t see anything beyond the gate.
There was a white veil falling from the stone gate, shielding everything inside.
“Looks like we need to head inside first to see what it has in store for us.” Bai Wuji softly said before turning around and looking at the rest of the group. “Since Brother Liang was the one who found this place first, you can head inside.”
The group from the Mystique Array Sect looked at Bai Wuji with respectful and slightly ashamed expressions; they didn’t know he had such an open mind and a righteous soul.
Liang Hui, on the other hand, quickly shook his head, “How can we be shameless enough to accept your kindness, Brother Bai? You are the one who found the key to this place. By all rights, you deserve to move inside more than any of us here.” He quickly rejected his kindness and explained his reasoning.
His fellow sect mates sensed something amiss, but they couldn’t figure out what it was. Still, they agreed they shouldn’t rob Bai Wuji of his chance.
Bai Wuji looked deeply at Liang Hui before looking back at the white veil, “If that is the case, then I shall enter first.”

Shen Yuan looked at both Bai Wuji and Liang Hui with surprise, “I didn’t expect these two to be so smart. Each guy was digging a hole for the other. But it looks like Wuji can’t shirk his responsibility as a disciple of one of the top righteous sects here.”

Bai Wuji was the first one to come back to his senses as he looked in all directions. And the first thing he noticed was a massive beating heart chained inside the place, with formations densely covering it.
Liang Hui and the others quickly recovered and also looked around to see what was special here. But their breathing stopped as they looked at the massive heart inside.
“Wh-what is this?” one of the disciples from Liang Hui’s group asked in astonishment.
Bai Wuji took a deep breath, looking at the heart, “This seems to be the core of the entire Forest Zone. And we are the first group to arrive here in history.” At the mention of this, even his eyes turned fiery with passion.
Their group was the first one in the entire recorded history to have found this place. No mention of it was anywhere in all the records.
“But the question here is, whose heart is this? A beast?” another disciple behind Bai Wuji asked.
Liang Hui shook his head, “None of us can be sure of that. But one thing is for certain, our Mystique Array Sect will be able to uncover its mysteries.”

The entire group split into two at the mention of these words. Bai Wuji and his group looked at the group from the Mystique Array Sect warily.
“Liang Hui, think carefully, you are not our match without your formations.” Bai Wuji threateningly said. He wouldn’t take a step back here. It was clear at a glance how extraordinary this Heart was, and it would be immensely helpful for their sect.
“Brother Wuji, why do you think we couldn’t deploy our array here?” Liang Hui smilingly asked before taking out a formation plate, while the other disciples did the same.
All three of them held array flags as they channeled their powers into Liang Hui. Liang Hui expected something like this would happen, so he had asked for an instant array plate from his sect.
It was much more expensive than normal array equipment, but he still emptied his wallet and bought it.
Bai Wuji’s expression turned serious upon seeing the array they had made. “You think only you people can fight together? Sword of the Four Winds!”
Just as he finished speaking, he unsheathed his sword, and the rest of his sect members did so as well.
