“Here, try this tea,” he said as the tea finished brewing, giving out two cups to the two of them.
Yuxin and Yue Xian took them and softly blew before taking a sip. “Hmm~ It’s really good,” Yue Xian praised.

Shen Yuxin continued to drink her tea in contentment as she softly gazed at Shen Yuan.
“Shen Yuan,” Yue Xian softly began, her face turning serious, “Have you ever thought about going to Shen Yuxin’s clan?”

“Why do you ask?” he asked.
Yue Xian placed her cup on the table before saying, “Her clan is one of the strongest in this entire world, with multiple Transcending Tribulation Realm cultivators and even Mahayana Realm level cultivators amongst them. If you go there, then with their resources you will be able to increase your cultivation base much faster.”
He paused, looking at her for a second before asking, “And why do you think I need those resources?”
Yue Xian’s eyes filled with confusion. “Huh? You don’t want to use those near-infinite resources?”
He shook his head. “I do not need the resources of others. I can earn them by myself.”

“So anyways, how are Qingyu and Ling’er doing now, Mom?” he asked while sipping on his tea.
Yuxin smiled. “They are doing great. Within a month, both of them have broken through to the 9th level Origin Core Creation Realm, thanks to your pills. They really did wonders on them, Yuan’er.”
His smile turned gentle. “That’s good. I hope they can break through to the Extreme Origin Core Realm soon.”
Yuxin shook her head. “That would be hard. They have broken through too many levels in succession; they need to stabilize their foundation now.”
“Oh? Then what are they doing currently?” he curiously asked.
“Wan Ling is practicing her swordsmanship, honing her skills to the extreme, while Qingyu seems to have picked up alchemy—haha, but she is still learning the basics,” she slowly told him.
“I see,” he nodded his head and fell in thought. “Hmm… Mom, why don’t you all move into my courtyard?” he softly asked.
Shen Yuxin raised her brow in surprise. “Oh?” Her smile turned playful. “You want all of us to move in with you?”
He seriously nodded his head. “Yes, I want you and everyone who is dear to me to move here. I have more than enough room for everyone. And this place needs a bit of renovation anyway.”
“Sure, I don’t see a reason to refuse that. I can also get closer to my dear son that way,” she giggled, saying it.
Yue Xian shook her head with a smile. “You are really something else.”
They continued laughing and chatting for a while before he turned to Yue Xian and asked, “So, was there any particular reason you came to visit us?”
Yue Xian placed her tea cup on the table and looked at him. “There was no real reason. You were going through tribulation, and Yuxin was worried about you. So I accompanied her here. It’s about time I head back as well—I need to make preparations for what is to come.”
He stood up and bowed slightly in respect. “Thanks for taking care of my mom while she was there.”
Yue Xian stood up and gently smiled. “No need to mention it, but you should visit my academy when you reach the Main Continent of this world.”

“Yes, she left hehe,” Yuxin giggled before walking over to him and sitting on his lap.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned forward to place his head on her shoulder. “I missed you.”
Yuxin’s eyes warmed, looking at him. “How long were you in seclusion?” she softly asked while hugging him.
“For around three years,” he softly said.
Shen Yuxin felt her heart aching for him. Her hands tightened around him, and she hugged him wordlessly for a moment.

“But it was a fruitful time, haha.” He laughed and got back a little to see her face to face.
She looked at him for a second before softly asking, “And what did you achieve during this seclusion?”
“A lot.” His lips curled up into a smug grin. “Not only did I increase my cultivation of all my Dantians to the Extreme Origin Core Realm, all of my Intents are at the 3rd level, with some of them on the 4th level. And now I’m also a Mid-Grade Heaven Rank Blacksmith and Alchemist,” he said everything in a single breath.
Shen Yuxin looked speechlessly at him, wondering how absurdly talented he was to be able to achieve all of that in merely three years. “Looks like those three years in seclusion were well worth it. Your battle strength should be at the Mortal Tribulation Realm with all of your gifts now, right?”
He nodded his head. “It should be somewhere between Early Mortal Tribulation Realm to Mid Mortal Tribulation Realm. But against the sect geniuses, I can at most fight against Dao Core Forming Realm cultivators.”
