I was treated like a king due to my status as an Alchemy Master,” he paused for a bit, remembering about the old times as he continued speaking in a gate filled voice,

Extracting their essence and mixing them up. Time continued to pass as he continued refining the herbs.
Soon he felt the time was right as he used more Qi to quickly finish the process.
As he opened the cauldron to look at the results, all he saw were black ashes at the bottom of the cauldron.
He shook his head looking at his results.

“Alright, I will try again.” he took a deep breath as he began processing the herbs again.
The second attempt was a failure as well due to him being far too cautious and overburning the essence of the herbs.
