Kent didn’t immediately do anything. He only focused on knowing the price of the ones they had picked. While his wealth was in the trillions, he also wanted to use the chance to make subtle moves toward getting what he wanted.
Right now, Saintess Selene was in his sights. Although she wouldn’t give in just yet, Kent and the Tower concluded that he should take the path of the sword.
The lady was obsessed with the sword, so if he was going to get inside her pants, he would first have to crush her in the sword’s path.
Luckily for him, while he couldn’t crush her in a duel, he could do it with his wealth. If she saw a skill she wanted but didn’t want to look too needy, he would find a way to make her appear needy.
‘Being rich sure has its perks,’ Kent said inwardly while waiting for the store attendant to tell him the price of the four skill books.
“The Thunder God’s Precision is 40,000,000, the Heaven’s Arrowstorm is 50,000,000, while both the Frostfire Twin Dragons and Celestial Blade Dance are 30,000,000 each. The total will be 150,000,000 spirit stones,” the store attendant said excitedly.
Who knew how much profit he would make if he managed to sell four legendary-grade items?

The tower, which Kent was tasked with using to track the prices of the books, said to Kent, making him nod. He then walked toward another legendary grade skills line on the shelf and took a case containing a sword skill called Void Cutter.
[Master, you do know you can use the Sword Mind technique to learn the skills without paying for them, right?] The tower said, making Kent nearly trip.
‘We don’t have to be stingy, Tower. There will come a time when we can be stingy, but for today, I am trying to impress my next cat.’

‘I will. But for now, it’s my way of entering my master’s pants.’
Kent looked toward Saintess Selene and gave her a wink.
“We will be adding this, too,” Kent said, handing the case to the attendant, who quickly checked the price. He was beyond excited.
Selling five legendary-grade items in a single day had never happened before.
In fact, in the past 10 years, he has only sold two legendary-grade skill books. So, selling five at the same time will undoubtedly make him very rich.
“The [Sword Cutter] will cost 70,000,000,” the attendant said.
This made Kent’s ladies look at him in shock. Although Vexthra had told them to trust him, spending over 200 million spirit stones was not something they expected.
But Kent, who had more than enough, casually retrieved 220 million spirit stones, which the tower had counted into a pouch, and gave them to the store attendant. He then stored the five cases inside the tower storage.
“It was Nice doing business with you.” Before the store attendant could reply, Kent started moving out.
Saintess Selene, Lilian, Unity, and Li Hua followed him. However, Li Hua stopped and eyed the pouch in the store attendant’s hands, causing him to put it away quickly.
Knowing she couldn’t do anything, she followed Kent and the ladies as they headed toward a different store where the tower had identified a Soul-type skill book for Kent.
However, if he didn’t hurry, somebody else would buy it. It was only a heaven-grade skill book, so he had to hurry.
Inside another skill book store, a young man with blonde hair and brown eyes held a green skill book in his hands as he stared back at a middle-aged man who seemed displeased with something.
“Young Master Nash, I have done business with your family before, and that is why I am willing to give you a ten percent discount. My final price is 700,000 Spirit Stones. I can’t go any further down.”
The young man smiled slightly before speaking.
“Sir Kai, I know that, but do something about it for me. You know how important soul skills are to my Axel family. Please do something about it for me, and I will put in a good word for you about this year’s Master Alchemist competition.”
“I know your niece would love to become a Seeded candidate. I can make that happen,” the young man named Nash said, trying to coax the man.
However, Sir Kai didn’t seem to be budging.
The technique the young man was holding was one of the best Soul techniques he had acquired recently.
If the grade had not been inscribed on it, it would have sold for a Legendary-grade technique price.
It’s called [Soul Shock], and as its name suggests, a soul master can tap into it and shock their opponents’ souls.

“Are you perhaps trying to threaten me? I have to remind you that this is the Green Gate Bazaar. Threatening a seller is a serious offense, and we wouldn’t want the Bazaar owner to be aware of this, right?” Sir Kai said with a small smile.
However, Nash, who had tried to use his family’s name to threaten him, felt his back break into a cold sweat.
Offending the owner was the last thing he wanted. Not even the King would dare threaten a seller while inside the bazaar.
Nash’s face flushed with embarrassment, but he quickly composed himself. He straightened his posture and forced a smile.
“I apologize, Sir Kai. I didn’t mean to overstep. I was merely suggesting that a deal between us could be mutually beneficial.”
He placed the skill book back on the table, his fingers trembling slightly. “I’m not here to cause trouble. But I do believe my family’s resources could make this transaction more… lucrative for both of us.”
Sir Kai smiled and took the skill book off the table. He then looked at Nash briefly as if trying to gauge his sincerity.
In the end, he could tell Nash truly wanted the skill. After a few internal struggles, he decided to give in and sell it to him.
However, before he said anything about handing the skill book to Nash, a voice entered the store, immediately making him change his mind.
“I will pay a million spirit stones for the skill book in your hands, Mr.”
Kent and the ladies entered the store.
