Of course, that was just the standard. Most only managed to go as far as Tier 4 since the concocting process became much more difficult from the Tier 3 stages upward.
It’s like cultivation; as one level up, the process tends to slow down and become much more difficult.

“What do you think, Master? With this level of expertise, would I get the ladies when I get into the Sect?” Kent asked, swallowing a stamina recovery pill.
“Unbelievable…” She muttered shaking her head
“Are you aware of the chaos your pills are causing on the outside? I have already received word from the sect about looking into it since I am in the city,” Saintess Selene said with a small smile.
While she wouldn’t mind telling the sect she had already located the perfect alchemist, she did not want to do that just yet. For some reason, she felt that telling the sect meant she would have to share her discipline with them.
Of course, she hated that feeling for obvious reasons, so she wanted to act selfishly for now—at least until they returned to the sect.
“Focus more on your training.” Saintess Selene just shook her head.
Regardless of how she sees it, Kent is going to cause too much trouble for her, but she doesn’t care. Well, she doesn’t really care much about anything.
“I will take that as a yes. But don’t worry, master, I won’t slack off with my training.” Kent gave her a reassuring smile before standing up.
“Where are you going?” Saintess Selene asked.
“I am going to see my women, of course. They must have missed me these past few days,” Kent said with a smile before running off.
“Unbelievable,” Saintess Selene could only shake her head and walk back into her room.
Kent had given her some Tier 1 Qi Gathering Pills, and she wanted to test them out.
While Kent doesn’t know yet, the discovery that a perfect pill is running around in the city has Saintess Selene getting messages from the sect through her communication token, telling her to look into it.
