It had already been 12 days since Kent began practicing the sword mind inside the tower. The past 12 days had been spent mastering the 10,002 sword plays using his mind.
Before entering, he had only mastered 700 out of the 10,002, but now, after breaking through inside the sword garden and receiving the boost afterward, his pace had picked up.
So far, he has mastered 4,560 sword plays. This caused his Enhanced Sword Qi and intent at level 5 to shoot up to level 6 and even started approaching level 7th level.
But Kent stopped when he reached 4,600.
The sword mind wasn’t the reason he had come there.
It was merely his way of taking his mastery to the next level while checking to see if his focus passive skill was indeed a thing.
“The focus passive skill is great, alright,” Kent said, standing up.
He walked away, contemplating how best to proceed with his chances of gaining his first enlightenment.
According to both Gaia and his master, gaining enlightenment adds to a person’s strength. It’s like opening up one potential even further…
Fighting someone who had gained enlightenment in a certain aspect of the sword was something worth taking seriously, or else he might just lose.
So he was now heading in the direction where his enlightenment should be near.
Then again, he was forgetting the path he was walking. The Genesis Path was no easy path. Of course, if he were to gain enlightenment, his mastery would take a new leap.
“I can feel it. The enlightenment will come soon. I just have to master the Rapid Sword Slash to a certain stage and see if that will allow me to see the next path after the intent and Qi infusion.”
He made his way to the Perfect Sword View, where he planned to use it well. It was one of the cool stuff Gaia created for him.
“Gaia,” Kent called out, and the cosmic loli appeared the next second.

The cute little lollipop spoke, making Kent curl his mouth into a smirk.
“Then it means there are exactly the same things somewhere in the universe since the schematics are not yours,” he said, making Gaia clench her little fist.
She then pointed her little finger at Kent.

Gaia had been frustrated seeing Kent not taking her creations seriously, so she finally vented her frustration in the cutest way possible.
“The next time you want to say something serious, try to look less cute and beautiful and more mature and serious. The current you is not giving the ‘if you don’t pay attention to my creations, I will send you on a deadly quest’ vibe.”
“You…” Gaia wanted to punch the brat, but Akira appeared the next second, stopping her overly impulsive sister, who would accidentally destroy the tower if she were offended.
Though she wasn’t about to destroy something she had spent millions of years creating, she would indeed make Kent scream a bit.
“Just sit inside, and a panel of all your sword skills will appear. Select the one you want, and you will enter the simulation.”
In the end, she is Gaia, someone who is all about ensuring her master is happy and has all he needs.
“Thank you, Madam Gaia. I will reward you later when I leave here. How about a stroll through the other gates? Does that sound good?”
“You better,” she said, then vanished, leaving only Akira behind. She just smiled and decided to do damage control for her sister.
“We didn’t want to tell you, but our last sibling may have just gotten herself into trouble. As the cosmic weaver, Gaia was able to see what she was going through and where she was.
So she’s just grumpy. But don’t worry—that bitch wouldn’t die even if a celestial god attacked her. When you’re strong enough, we’ll go rescue her.”
After saying that, she also left.
“There’s another one of them? I wonder if she’s also a loli,” Kent mused with a smile, though he didn’t dwell on it.
He would ask them for more clarity on what exactly their sister had gotten herself into.
He entered the capsule resembling a chair, and something akin to a futuristic glass covered his face. The next second, he was standing in the air with a sea below him and mountains all around.

An identical copy of Kent appeared, holding a white sword. He then looked toward a certain mountain and made a single swing. But that was enough.
One hundred sword arcs appeared and rained down on the mountain, sending shockwaves far and wide. Kent’s eyes narrowed, and a smile appeared on his lips.
He saw it—he saw how the energy moved into the sword, how it interacted with the intent in the air, and how it was infused.
He saw how the clone activated the hundred arcs… It was like he was the one doing it. It felt like he was the one who took the swing.
It felt surreal.
“This is the best,” Kent was overjoyed. The feeling was something he only needed a few swings to master.
The clone took another swing, and 200 arcs appeared. Kent felt that, too, and then he continued to observe as the clone went until 450 arcs appeared.
He then went back to 100 again. He went through the sequence three more times. Then when he came back for a 4th, Kent changed strategy.
This time, Kent sat down in the air and closed his eyes. Instead of looking at the clone, he was rather feeling him.
It was something he never knew was possible, but now that he was doing it, he could already sense his understanding expanding.
‘I need this,’ Kent said. And so, for six whole days, he just sat there, feeling everything inside his body, mind, and even down to his soul.
After six days, he mastered the skill without even taking up his sword. He had already mastered it mentally, and his body adapted to it thanks to his unique Dragon physique and cultivation technique.
His path also played a role.
When he stopped the simulation and came out, he quickly went to the Eternal Sword Arena and unsheathed his sword.
He sighed, and then he took a single swing, and 200 arcs appeared. He smiled and started swinging more. This took him only a few seconds until all 450 arcs appeared.
When the 450 arcs appeared, Kent felt like that was the limit. It was strange, but it felt like that was all he could handle.
It was as if all his energy and blood vessels were meant to only be able to handle 450 arcs.
‘Then I declare, I will break this barrier on my own if I want to win against the clone. I need to have something he can’t replicate.’
He looked toward the Sword Bridge and sighed.
‘I will be coming soon.’
