Kent left for the Soul Tower, where he would be secluded to access and process the memories he would receive the moment he used the Memory Key.
He is a reincarnate, and for some unknown reason, he now has access to a way to regain his memories.
This, of course, wasn’t something that should be possible, simply because to undergo reincarnation, one has to forgo their previous memories.
In fact, having knowledge of your past self shouldn’t be possible.
What Kent went through when he was taken to Sonox was different. That was akin to transmigration under the authority of a god.
What he will be going through now is accessing an entirely different life. This shouldn’t be possible, yet he will be making it possible for unknown reasons.
Gaia and Akira are with him.
As they said, they want to know the kind of past Kent will be remembering. From their discussions, it was clear Kent has multiple past selves.
“Gaia, you said I won’t be going down memory lane, right?” Kent asked.
[Yes, Master. This is not a memory trip. This is just a key to open a small part of your past life. As to what and who you are, it will manifest the moment you see it.
I am no expert, so you might see something else, but fear not—this is a good thing… kinda.]
“Kinda?” Kent glared at the loli.
[No need to look so agitated, Master. The fact that you have a way to remember your past life is no simple thing. Not even gods can brag about that. So, cherish this.]
“Fine. But if something bad happens, I won’t ever use this key again,” Kent sighed and then retrieved a key. He was standing outside the [Soul Pagoda].
⟪He really is going to do it. I can’t believe this moment has come.⟫ Akira said, looking ecstatic. It seemed she had been expecting this and was eager to see what would happen.
⟪No need to be so happy just yet. The key will open the memory door, but as to what he finds inside, we’ll never know.⟫ Gaia replied, though she wasn’t able to dampen Akira’s mood.
⟪Whatever… Still, I call dibs on the Dragon King.⟫
⟪You’re in for disappointment then. Master has already started walking the path of the sword, so no matter what, he will awaken Lord Genesis, the Savage sword.⟫
The two lolis continued their telepathic chitchat for a few minutes until Kent had enough and chose to use the key.
He pointed it forward and then twisted it. The moment he did, a wave of lightning burst out of the key. It was subtle and harmless but bloomed and soon formed into a door that slowly opened.
The moment it opened, a wave of familiar energy poured out from it, making Kent sigh inwardly. It was as if his life had finally found comfort and was calling out to him.
He turned to the two lolis. “I’ll be back the moment I’m done,” he said to them before walking through the door without any hesitation.
Kent appeared in a small world filled with celestial energy when he walked through the door. The land was rich, and the plants were even richer.
It was as if he had entered the celestial realm, where only the primordial Celestial gods reside.
Well, that was exactly where he was. The place he had just appeared in was the Celestial Heavens. In all of the universe, only 13 beings have reached there…
One of them was the Dragon King, who died to save the universe during the Primordial Era.
The Dragon was the Primordial Chaos Dragon, and that dragon was Kent’s first self… his original self.
The realm he was in was the celestial world he had prepared with his three Anchors of the universe. Those three are Gaia, known as the Cosmic Weaver; Akira, the Soul Weaver; and Dori, the Mind Weaver.
This went way back. The beginning was as it should be, but it was also different. Kent would learn that later.
When the universe formed and life was born, the Primordial Chaos Dragon rose from the ashes of the burst eternal and spread his wings over everyone.
He was called the Guardian of the Universe, the Eternal Supreme, the Chaos Warden, and the Perverted Dragon King.
His supremacy captured the Universe’s attention, so he was chosen as the first and only son of the Universe. This meant he was given supremacy over the cycle of reincarnation.
This made him the only being who could reincarnate and remember his past lives.
But there was a catch.
As the son of the universe, he was bound to protect his mother. However, that wasn’t all. Before he became the son of the universe, he was promised 13 lives…
He would only have the chance to remember all 13 after he completed the cycle.
Thirteen lives came and went, and now, the cycle was complete. So, the promise made by the universe many billions of years ago was finally fulfilled.
The owner of the universe was now born and was about to walk through the 13 lives of rebirth. This was the promise made and the promise that had to be fulfilled.

“Thirteen Faceless Statues,” Kent muttered as he gazed upward.
Thirteen large statues loomed above him, each with a staircase leading to it. They don’t have faces, but their presence is Supreme.
“I lived 13 lives. That’s a lot,” Kent sighed. He gazed at the statues. One was a dragon, a swordsman, an assassin, an archer, a Spearman…
The 13 are all personifications of one aspect of his life. The Dragon was the first, but that was all. There was no description of them.
The Tower doesn’t have access to these, so Kent couldn’t learn anything about the statues.
“So, I get to pick where I want to go from here. That is simple, I guess.” Kent moved toward the stair leading to the Swordsman.
The statue was holding a colossal sword with both hands, pointing the tip of the sword down. Kent could tell the sword was the same sword inside the Sword Tower.
He moved upward, and when he was in front of the statue, he saw a keyhole inside the sword. He looked at the key he was holding, which, for some reason, started fading.
He immediately knew what had to be done before it was too late. He placed it inside the hole and turned it…
A voice entered his head, and then he was sucked into the sword…
