“Kent, what are you doing here?” Ingrid asked the moment Kent appeared in her master’s residence.
“I am here to check if that Randy guy has already picked the venue and time. I want to enter seclusion now and don’t want a situation where he starts making noise that I ran when he challenged me,” Kent said.
Though he could have found out or simply visited the duel hall, he wanted to see the Saintess, as he had something to give her.

He had to make his move fast while the Saintess was distracted.
Saintess Neomi stood with a calm expression, but her heart was beating like crazy. Suddenly, a small smile appeared on her face and then vanished. Ingrid was standing right behind her.
She turned and looked at her disciple, who was still flustered from Kent’s playful advances just a few moments ago.
She sighed and then nodded toward her.
It was the approval Ingrid had been waiting for, and now, her master had given her the go-ahead. She could only wait for the moment when she and Kent could finally take the next step.
Kent remained in his lotus meditative posture for a couple of minutes before he began exuding his sword intent and Qi. He was also muttering a few words he had learned from passing the second quest.
During the intimate moment when the Saintess was watching, the second quest was completed as their friendship meter hit 40%. He was then given a mantra he was meant to recite while cultivating around the Saintess.
