In the early morning, the sea breeze, carrying a refreshing coolness, gently stirred the sheer curtains.
Chen Kai slowly woke up to the sound of birds chirping and waves crashing, having finally managed to sleep in today.
As he stretched, he felt something round and slightly elastic gently bump his arm.
“Egg~Egg!” (Good morning, Master!)
A tender yet firm cry rang out.
Chen Kai looked down to see Exeggcute earnestly craning its six small faces upwards, its bright eyes looking at him with anticipation, its body swaying slightly.
“What’s wrong, Exeggcute, so early?” Chen Kai said with a smile, reaching out to gently touch Exeggcute’s smooth shell.
Instead of rubbing against his hand for a caress as usual, Exeggcute swayed its body with more force, all six small faces uniformly pointing in the same direction—towards the lush coconut grove outside the window, bathed in the morning light.
Immediately after, it let out a series of urgent and clear cries: “Egg! Egg!” (Master! I want to evolve into that tall form!)
Chen Kai was slightly startled, then understood.
He squatted down, looking at Exeggcute at eye level: “Are you saying… you want to evolve? And… you want to evolve into an Alolan Exeggutor?”
“Egg!!!”
Exeggcute swayed vigorously up and down, which was the closest it could get to a nod, its voice filled with undeniable determination.
Chen Kai pondered for a moment, instantly understanding the situation. Last night, upon returning to the guesthouse, despite a big misunderstanding and some awkwardness, the atmosphere eventually became warm and wonderful.
Chen Ma, who had initially been stern-faced, later softened, and even spoke with Exeggutor and Ya'an privately.
Subsequently, with the help of the delicious ingredients prepared by Boss Zhou, the atmosphere became even more harmonious.
Chen Kai only learned later that Ya'an had decided to stay and be with Exeggutor.

Presumably, after their communication last night, Exeggcute must have learned who its biological parents were, which also prompted Exeggcute to decide to evolve into Alolan Exeggutor.
Since Exeggcute had made its decision, Chen Kai respected its wishes.
He took out the Leaf Stone he had already prepared: “Then let’s go to the yard!”
Exeggcute happily bounced out of the room:
“Egg!” (Yay!)
The other people in the guesthouse, upon learning of this, all came out, preparing to watch Exeggcute evolve.
The group of people and Pokemon arrived in a grand procession at the open area by the sea, where the sunlight was most abundant and the coconut trees were exceptionally tall.
Exeggcute chose a soft sandy spot, where the golden sunlight fell upon it without reservation.
Chen Kai placed the Leaf Stone in the middle of Exeggcute, and Exeggcute’s body began to emit a green light, which grew stronger as time passed, like a small green sun!
All six of Exeggcute’s small faces were filled with determination and anticipation.
The energy within its body resonated strongly with the Alola land beneath its feet, the warm sunlight overhead, and the lush coconut grove surrounding it!
Buzz—
A dazzling white light suddenly burst forth, completely enveloping Exeggcute!
Under everyone's expectant gazes, the white light rapidly grew taller and took shape!
Within the light, the outline of a long neck and the nascent form of three coconut-shaped heads were clearly visible!
As the white light gradually dissipated, a brand new figure appeared before everyone!
Its neck was extraordinarily long, like a giraffe.
Its height easily surpassed ten meters!
Three dark green, coconut-shaped heads hung high in the morning light, looking down with new-found curiosity and a cheerful expression at its much smaller family and trainer below.
Its overall skeletal structure also seemed to become taller and more upright.
However, the most astonishing thing was not its incredible height, but the end of its tail!
At the tip of that thick, powerful tail, there was not the usual cluster of leaves, but a fourth coconut-shaped head!
This head was slightly smaller than the three above, with a unique light green color, a dazed expression, and a pouting mouth, looking very comical and cute, yet it emitted faint Psychic waves, vigilantly scanning every corner behind and to its sides.
Clearly, this independent tail-head was not just for show; it possessed its own consciousness, specifically responsible for vigilance and defense of the rear, making up for blind spots in its vision!
“Egg—!!!” A long, resonant cry came from above, its voice full of power.
Exeggutor looked up at its uniquely shaped offspring, its eyes filled with amazement.
It stretched out its broad leaves, but could only gently brush against the little Exeggutor’s pillar-like feet.
Ya'an excitedly looked up at her child, who had grown incredibly tall, letting out a cry mixed with pride and a hint of bewilderment.
She tried hard to stretch her neck, but could only barely reach the base of her child’s extremely long neck.
The “little” Exeggutor, feeling its parents’ touch, slowly and extremely carefully lowered its dizzyingly long neck, bringing its main head down to gently rub against its mother Ya'an’s head, and then used its side head to lightly touch its father.

Grandpa was so happy he almost jumped up; his good grandson was now a true master of Dragon-type Pokemon!
His grandson had a strong talent for raising Pokemon. Grandpa glanced at the Swablu beside him; this little guy, following him, was getting fatter and fatter, and its good talent was being wasted.
Grandpa pondered whether to hand this child over to Chen Kai for training as well? Anyway, Chen Kai now had a large number of Pokemon, so one more wouldn't hurt.
