The massive dragon body was instantly blasted apart.

A notification flickered—John’s body reformed, golden light radiating from him as he was resurrected once more.
But blood trailed down the corner of his mouth, his scales shattered, and the chains remained tightly coiled around him.
“Damn it!” he cursed, fury flashing in his enormous eyes. With a surge of will, he activated the Law of Time.
Time stopped!
Buzz—
The air thrummed with energy. Silence fell across the space as Abyss was frozen in place.
Clatter!
John seized the chance—his enormous dragon form broke free of the chain’s binding in an instant.
Then, laws howled as ten Golden Wheels of Law slammed toward Abyss.
Boom! Boom! Boom…
Explosions rang out. John coughed up blood and was blasted backward.
Crack!
A sharp shattering sound followed—Time Stopped was broken. Abyss shattered the time constraint.
“You were actually able to activate Time Stopped?” he stared coldly at John, his gaze heavy with killing intent. “Too bad… you’re still too weak.”
With a furious roar, he whipped his chains and charged in once more.
Seeing the chains howl toward him, John dared not be careless. With a single thought, he deactivated Heaven and Earth Transformation—his enormous dragon body shrank rapidly, just barely dodging the entangling chains.
“Human, it’s useless.” Abyss scoffed, his massive blade gleaming with lethal light as it slashed forth.
Boom!
John’s golden aura trembled violently—he spat out blood again and was sent flying backward.
Even without the Corrosive Path Black Mist’s erosion, he still wasn’t a match for Abyss.
Beneath the Tree of Life, Merciless and the others looked on with deep worry, utterly helpless.
“Dad, the Sea of Laws!” Leisian called out, raising her hand to grasp a hanging vine, swiftly ascending to the treetop.
Whoosh!
Flames flickered around her, resonating with the Star Dust that dotted the sky. In an instant, a massive vortex formed, engulfing the entire space.
“Huh?” John sensed the change, quickly reacted, and with a wave of his hand, the Star Dust fell—hurtling toward Abyss.
“Seed of Fire!” Abyss dodged the falling Star Dust in a panic, his gaze locked greedily onto Leisian.
The Seed of Fire complemented the Heaven Law. As long as the Seed of Fire existed, the Heaven Law would not dissipate. If he could obtain both the Seed of Fire and John’s World-in-Hand, he would absolutely be able to reforge the Kaos Star Domain—and no longer fear the other three Creator Gods.
“Human, even if you call upon the Sea of Laws, you’re still no match for me. Corrosive Path Black Mist!” Abyss snarled with a twisted expression. With a furious roar, a mass of black mist surged from within him, rapidly expanding to envelop his entire body.
Puff, puff…
Each falling Star Dust that touched the black mist had its power quickly drained, rendering its impact significantly weaker.
Although this wasn’t Abyss Star and the Corrosive Path Black Mist he could use here wasn’t at full strength, it was still more than enough to suppress John with ease.
“Immortal Sword Formation!”

A powerful sword aura burst forth from all around John, filled with a murderous presence. He simultaneously unleashed both the Immortal Sword Formation and the United Sword Domain, completely surrounding Abyss.

An endless array of cold sword lights shimmered, and countless sword beams howled as they slashed down from the sky.
Not only that—Golden Wheels of Law spun around John’s body, and a barrage of powerful abilities erupted one after another, all infused with the power of The Heaven Law, launching an overwhelming assault on Abyss.

For a moment, Abyss was overwhelmed, forced into a disheveled retreat as blow after blow rained down on him.
“Damn you! Soul Devouring Chain!” he roared in fury. The massive chain shot out again with a sharp whistle, sweeping away countless sword beams before rapidly spiraling toward John.
John’s expression hardened; he dared not underestimate it. With a flick of his mind, the White Jade City flew forth with a roar, blocking in front of him.

The sound of metal-on-metal rang out as the chain wrapped tightly around the colossal White Jade City.
Crack… crack…
Light shimmered across its surface, but deep cracks began to form across the massive city.
“Break!” Abyss bellowed. The chain suddenly tightened with a violent pull, and with a thunderous explosion, the White Jade City was shattered once again.
John suffered the backlash—his soul was wounded, and blood poured from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.
“Die!” Abyss howled as the chain howled again, racing forward to entangle him.

John couldn’t dodge in time. The chain caught him once again, binding him tightly.

A raging wind tore through the air—then a massive sword light came crashing down.

A bloody mist exploded outward—he was struck down once more.

A prompt flashed—he resurrected for the third time. His face was pale, his mind spinning, and his body barely able to remain upright.
Worst of all, he was still bound by the chain.
“Human! This is the price for destroying my star domain!” Abyss roared in rage, his expression twisted. “You won’t just die—your World-in-Hand, your entire Galaxy Star Domain, will be annihilated!” Dark mist surged around him, his fury boiling. In an instant, the mist condensed into a monstrous, hulking beast with claws bared and jaws wide—lunging straight at John.
He intended to devour him whole.
John felt the overwhelming crisis descending upon him. Panic flashed in his eyes as he struggled with all his might—but it was useless.
“Leisian, come back!” Merciless cried out in alarm, as a small figure dashed straight toward John.
It was Leisian.
John saw it too—his heart seized in terror. He wanted to stop her, but it was already too late.
Boom!
In an instant, both he and Leisian were swallowed by the black mist.
Whoosh!
Right after, a wave of flames surged outward. The grotesque beast and the surrounding black mist instantly dissolved. Abyss suffered a severe backlash—his face turned pale, and he coughed up a mouthful of blood, staring in shock at the fragile figure before him.
Leisian stood with her arms spread wide, a faint flicker of firelight dancing across her body. She stood firm, shielding John with everything she had.
“Leisian!” John cried out, quickly breaking free from the chains and catching the collapsing little girl in his arms.
Blood trailed from the corner of Leisian’s mouth, her face pale, but a smile still bloomed across it as she weakly said, “Daddy, I’m okay.”
“Be a good girl and stay behind me. This one… is mine to deal with.” John’s voice was laced with pain as he handed Leisian over to Merciless. Then he turned to face Abyss, his expression cold as ice, killing intent radiating from every pore.
This monster had touched his reverse scale—he had to die.
“Impossible!” Abyss frowned deeply, confusion plain on his face. He couldn’t understand why Leisian had been able to block the Corrosive Path Black Mist.
The Corrosive Path Black Mist devoured all laws. Even the Seed of Fire was supposed to be one of its devourable targets.
And yet now, the black mist within him had been completely dispersed—and he himself was gravely wounded.
“Abyss, you should never have laid a hand on my family.” John’s voice was low and cold, his eyes chillingly sharp. The air rippled as a soul skill was unleashed.
“Judgment!” he roared. His powerful Spiritual Power condensed into a sharp blade, piercing directly into Abyss’s soul.
“Ugh!” Abyss groaned, a wave of dizziness hitting his mind—but the wound wasn’t critical.
He sneered at John and said, “Kid, you actually thought you could harm me with a soul attack? How naïve. My Spiritual Power is strong enough to spawn Soul Devouring Beasts. That little trick of yours poses no threat to me at all.”
“Is that so?” John let out a cold laugh. A dragon’s roar echoed in all directions—Dragon Soul Storm activated.
And that wasn’t all.
His eyes gleamed with brilliance. The space around them trembled as the Law of Time surged—Time Stopped was activated again.

Abyss froze in place once more, eyes wide, glaring furiously at John. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
Even under Time Stopped, his soul had taken a heavy blow.
And it didn’t end there. Sword light flared across the sky—ten Golden Wheels of Law howled as they descended. The Law Tree and the gigantic sword of The Immortals’ legacy came roaring from above, all slamming down toward Abyss.

Terrifying energy erupted—the power of The Heaven Law flooded the air, space shattered all around. Abyss’s body was instantly buried beneath the endless storm of attacks.
“Bastard!” A furious roar shattered the frozen space.
The barrage of attacks vanished. Abyss’s figure was a mess—covered in blood, kneeling on one knee.
John wasn’t doing well either. His face was pale, a sharp pain pierced through his mind—he had suffered a backlash to his soul.
“It’s over.” He gritted his teeth, forcing himself to remain standing. His eyes were cold as they locked onto Abyss. With a thought, the ten Golden Wheels of Law howled and slammed forward.
“Detonate!” His expression was resolute—without a second’s hesitation, he detonated the Destruction and Slaughter Golden Wheels of Law.
These two were the most powerful among the ten. Abyss, already heavily wounded, had absolutely no way to defend against them.

Two thunderous explosions shook the void. Space collapsed, and an endless torrent of chaotic space currents rampaged outward.
“No—!” A furious, unwilling roar echoed—but Abyss’s body was directly devoured and annihilated.
“Ugh!” John coughed up a mouthful of blood—destroying two Golden Wheels of Law had also caused severe damage to him.

“John!” Merciless cried out in worry. She and Leisian rushed to his side.
“I’m fine.” John gave a faint smile and shook his head weakly.
In order to kill Abyss, he had detonated two of his Golden Wheels of Law. Fortunately, he could still reforge them.
He had already mastered the Laws of Destruction and Slaughter, so condensing new Golden Wheels wouldn’t be difficult.
And the rewards from killing Abyss were massive.
His Soul Law comprehension had risen, he had obtained the Corrosive Path Black Mist, and gained two of Abyss’s supreme treasures tied to The Heaven Law:
The Soul Devouring Chain and the Soul-Eating Long Blade.
He wasn’t particularly skilled with these two weapons, but that didn’t stop him from using them effectively.
