more.

John’s face changed slightly. He could sense the immense power of the black pearl. If it
devoured him, there would be no escape.
“Slash!” He shouted in fury, activating Creation and Destruction once again, attempting to
counter the pearl’s devouring force.
A massive sword beam slashed down. As it neared the black pearl, the surrounding space
twisted, and the powerful sword beam was devoured by the pearl.

The black pearl vibrated with a deep hum, and a violent surge of power shot out, instantly
sending John flying.
“How bizarre!” He frowned, his expression turning grave.
This black pearl could not devour powers that weren’t of the darkness attribute, but it also
couldn’t be destroyed.

again.
