A figure enveloped in flames slowly descended in front of the group.
The flames flickered, and John could vaguely make out the shape of a humanoid figure with a bird’s head and two wings.
“The Immortal King, how should we deal with these three?” The Death Knight bowed respectfully and looked toward the bird-headed figure, asking.
The Immortal King?
John froze. Could this guy be one of the Seven Great Kings?
However, he hadn’t heard of him before.
The Immortal King noticed the golden rings around the group’s bodies and seemed surprised. “So, it’s Serpent King’s method. Has that guy also come to Senren’s domain?”
It was clear that he knew Serpent King.
John looked at Sword Demon in confusion.
Sword Demon furrowed his brow, thinking for a moment, then whispered, “The Immortal King was once one of the Seven Great Kings. He suddenly disappeared, and I never expected him to be imprisoned here.”
One of the Seven Great Kings?
John was confused. It seemed that the rulers of the Realm of Chaos were not fixed after all. The Immortal King, having overheard their conversation, didn’t pay much attention to it. He simply said, “Killing them right away would be a waste. Let them live for a while. Don’t kill them yet; I have some questions to ask them later.”
“Thank you, my lord,” the demons and monsters around them said eagerly, their faces twisted in cruel smiles as they surrounded John and the others.
“I’ll do it,” a short Orc in battle armor said, holding a massive axe even larger than himself. His face was lit with excitement.
Whoosh!
The giant axe swung through the air, creating a gust of wind, sweeping toward them. Boom!
John and his companions were sent flying without the ability to resist.
“F*ck you. Don’t let me break free from this restraint!” Sword Demon cursed angrily. This Orc was not very strong-only at the seven-star level-but Medusa had already severely injured him, and this attack had worsened his injuries.
“Hah, still talking tough!” The short Orc, grinning with excitement, put away the giant axe and approached Sword Demon, now using his bare fists to strike at his face.
“Go, teach these three a lesson!” The shouts and curses from around them filled the air as a group of creatures began punching and kicking John and his companions.
John’s rage surged. He had never experienced such humiliation-he was always the one dishing out torment to others.
Though the golden rings were strange, they did not seal away all of his power.
For example, his Spiritual Power and Chaos Force could not be sealed.
“Get the hell off me!” he roared, unleashing a soul attack. A dragon’s roar echoed softly, crashing into the minds of those around them.
It was his Soul Skill: Dragon Soul Storm.
Several weak seven-star monsters immediately bled from their seven-star orifices and died on the spot.
The others were also injured to varying degrees, but the eight-star experts were mostly unaffected.
In this world, lifeforms weren’t particularly skilled in soul attacks, but their Soul Techniques were highly developed.
“Soul Skill!” The Abyss Banshee’s eyes lit up as she locked her gaze onto John.
She moved swiftly and appeared right in front of John, ripping off his protective face mask. “Tsk tsk, still a pretty boy,” she said, scanning John up and down, her bright eyes gleaming with excitement. “Little guy, be my plaything. If you please me, maybe I’ll spare your life.” “Heh,” John sneered in disdain. This woman was undoubtedly seductive, but she wasn’t his type.
He replied indifferently, “You better hope I can’t break free from these restraints, or you all will pay a heavy price.”
“Oh, you still have a sharp tongue. I like that.” The Abyss Banshee lifted John’s chin with a finger, speaking lazily, “Teach this guy a good lesson, make him beg for mercy.”
With that, she stepped aside.
A group of demons and monsters closed in again, starting to beat John with punches and kicks.
His anger surged. These creatures were too strange-his soul attacks seemed almost ineffective against them.
“Damn it, Heaven and Earth Transformation!” he roared, and the Chaos Force inside him surged wildly.
Whoosh!
A terrifying wind howled as an overwhelming pressure spread out. He instantly transformed into a towering giant, hundreds of feet tall.
“What the hell is this monster?”
The surrounding demons were sent flying, looking at the suddenly enlarged John with a chill running down their spines, hesitating to make a move.
Both the Immortal King and the Abyss Banshee frowned, their eyes fixed on him, clearly on
alert.
Creak, creak…
The golden rings around John’s body also expanded, emitting a screeching sound as cracks appeared on them.
“Break!” the Abyss Banshee shouted angrily, and her Chaos Force surged, directly smashing the restraints apart.
John’s strength returned, his aura rising continuously, radiating an atmosphere of world-
destroying power.
“Kid, help me!” Sword Demon shouted eagerly. He hadn’t expected John to break free from the golden rings. He quickly called for help.
John grabbed the golden rings around Cand-Dragon and Sword Demon and tore at them
forcefully.
Rip!
The golden rings were torn to shreds, and both of them were completely freed from their
restraints.
John’s killing intent filled the air as he coldly spoke, “Kill them, don’t hold back!”
“Hmph, I was waiting for you to say that!” Sword Demon sneered, his black longsword dancing through the air. Endless sword beams flashed as he charged into the stunned crowd, crazily slaughtering everything in his path.
Roar!
A dragon’s roar echoed through the space as Cand-Dragon, who had been holding back his anger, transformed into his true form. He also unleashed Heaven and Earth Transformation, charging into the crowd and mercilessly slaughtering his enemies.
Buzz!
Sword intent hummed in the air as four cold beams shot skyward. John summoned the Four Extermination Swords.
“Immortal Sword Formation!” he shouted furiously, setting up the formation and enveloping all the demons. An endless killing intent spread, and the sky was filled with flickering cold
beams, sweeping over everyone and shredding them apart.
Blood splattered, and the wailing screams echoed through the battlefield.
The trio’s power was terrifying, especially John’s and Sword Demon’s, whose displayed
strength was on par with that of a nine-star powerhouse.
Cand-Dragon, using Heaven and Earth Transformation, fought with the might of an eight- star peak powerhouse, turning the entire area into a hellish battlefield.
“You bastards, stop!” The Immortal King finally reacted, roaring in fury as he charged at John.
He didn’t care about the lives of his subordinates, but these demons regarded him as their
leader, and his pride demanded that he maintain his authority.
A blazing ball of fire howled through the air, slamming into John.
Boom!
A loud explosion rang out as the flames roiled, sending John flying. His blood surged, and he
was engulfed by the fire, his soul aching with pain.
The Immortal King’s flames carried soul-inflicting damage.
Not only that, but John, who had transformed into a fire elemental body, felt the flames
damage him as well.
He should have been immune to fire-based attacks.
But this particular fire attack was strange.
A trickle of blood leaked from the corner of John’s mouth as he stared coldly at the Immortal
King. “What kind of flames are those?”
“Hmph, these are Fire Elemental Laws, the Flames of Eternal Burn,” the Immortal King said
with a proud expression.
Fire Elemental Laws? It seemed like an extraordinarily powerful fire elemental law. No
wonder his fire elemental body couldn’t resist it.
John couldn’t help but recall the Dark Elemental Laws he had obtained not long ago, but with
only 1% of comprehension, it hadn’t granted him much power.
“You dare to be my enemy? Die!” The Immortal King roared, flames rising around him as a
massive firebird manifested behind him, soaring toward John.
It was his Dharmakaya.
John sneered. The Immortal King’s fire attacks were indeed strange, but to think he could kill
him was simply impossible.
“Nine Heavens Sword!” John bellowed, swinging his United Sword. A giant sword beam slashed through the air, as if summoned from the nine heavens, coming down heavily toward
the Immortal King.
Boom!
The roar of the collision echoed as flames surged, and cold sword beams flickered.
The two clashed violently.
Explosions rang out in waves, and terrifying energy rampaged through the space, tearing it
apart before it quickly healed itself.
This space seemed to possess the ability to self-repair, easily blocking the blows of a nine-
star powerhouse.
John’s strength had improved recently, but when facing a nine-star powerhouse, he still felt
somewhat powerless.
Especially against this man’s fire-based attacks, which made him suffer immensely.
However, the Immortal King was not without his troubles either.
Numerous Laws surrounded him, and powerful sword techniques and magical attacks kept appearing, forcing the Immortal King to focus all his efforts on defense.
“Kid, you’re no match for me. Quiet!” the Immortal King shouted, flapping his wings. A mass
of pitch-black flames howled as it came crashing toward John.

A prompt flashed, and golden light enveloped John, activating his invincible state.
“Huh, not dead?” The Immortal King looked at John, who had been resurrected, surprised.
“Hmph, you can’t kill me!” John scoffed. He controlled the Immortal Sword Formation, and endless sword beams rose into the air, blotting out the sky as they surged toward the Immortal King.
The Immortal King furrowed his brows, unafraid. Coldly, he said, “It seems you have some means of resurrection. Let’s see how many times you can come back.”
His figure melted into the Dharmakaya, flames flickering as he burst out from beneath the
endless sword rain.
The two clashed once more.
Though John was at a disadvantage, he couldn’t be defeated in the short term, falling into a
deadlock.
Elsewhere, the situation wasn’t much better. Sword Demon was battling the Death Knight,
and although the fight was intense, he was pushing the knight back, forcing him to retreat. Cand-Dragon was facing off against the Abyss Sorceress, and it was an evenly matched fight. As for the other demons, they couldn’t intervene. They were frantically fleeing, avoiding the
combat.
The seven-star demons couldn’t even withstand the energy fluctuations from the battle. Only
the eight-star demons could barely resist, and even then, they were just trying to protect
themselves and couldn’t offer any assistance.
Boom!
Another violent explosion occurred, and a mass of pitch-black flames devoured John’s
enormous form.
The Immortal King exhaled slightly, watching the rising black flames, and said indifferently,
“Now, he should be dead.”
Buzz!
Just then, sword intent hummed, and beneath the raging flames, countless sword beams shot
out.
John was once again enveloped in golden light, completely unharmed.
The Lifesaver talent triggered for the second time.
“Still not dead?” The Immortal King gritted his teeth, his eyes twitching as he charged at
John.
He was growing more and more alarmed.
John’s abilities were endless. The most troubling thing was that his skills seemed to have no
cooldowns or consumption, making it difficult for the Immortal King to defend himself.

The Immortal King put everything he had into his attack, unleashing Silent Flames once again, but John still wasn’t killed.
