With a deafening roar, Nick was reduced to a pile of meat, utterly dead, with no chance of survival.
John, however, was momentarily stunned, then snapped, “Great Bear killed you, what does that have to do with me?”
These guys really thought they could just target him like a soft target.
His anger shifted toward the remaining black-robed figures, most of whom were seven-star experts—enough for him to handle.
Since the Celestial Vault organization was already targeting him, he might as well go all out.
“Kid, help me fix the World-in-Hand first!” Great Bear, seeing the world around him continue to crumble from the previous attack, hastily urged.
John was annoyed but still activated Creation and Destruction, beginning the repair of the shattered world.

The blade of energy flashed as the spatial cracks were sealed, restoring everything to its previous state.
Great Bear let out a sigh of relief, immediately canceling the Bear Overlord state. With the remaining enemies, he could deal with them easily.
“Human, you’ve ruined my plans, and even if I die, I’ll drag you down with me!” With a furious roar, Thunderstrike, severely wounded, looked determined as he threw himself at John without hesitation.
If it weren’t for John, Thunderstrike would have been able to kill Great Bear, seize Forest City, and become the new ruler.
“Ugh, another one?” John sighed. First, it was Nick from the Celestial Vault organization, who blamed everything on him.
Now Thunderstrike was doing the same.
“Hmph, do you really think I’m that easy to bully?” He was truly angry now. Against several eight-star experts, he was at a disadvantage, but against Thunderstrike, he had no fear.

Suddenly, four sword beams shot out, radiating with a chilling, murderous aura.
It was the Four Extermination Swords.
“Immortal Sword Formation!” He uttered in a low voice, immediately setting up the Immortal Sword Formation.
The sword intent hummed, and countless sword beams flashed, all targeting Thunderstrike, flying toward him with deadly precision.
“You bastard, you’ve been hiding your strength!” Thunderstrike, feeling the terrifying murderous intent within the sword beams, shouted in surprise, gritting his teeth in anger.
He wanted to dodge, but it was already too late. In an instant, he was overwhelmed by endless sword beams.
Boom, boom…
The sword beams whizzed by, and the sound of thunder rumbled. Thunderstrike’s body crackled with electricity as he swung his spear to block the incoming sword beams, barely holding them off.
“Thunder Strike!” Thunderstrike roared, breaking free from the sword beams’ range. His spear whipped through the air, charged with the might of thunder, aiming directly at John.
Boom!
A massive crash echoed, followed by the violent sounds of a thunderstorm.
Thunderstrike’s power was still formidable. John coughed up blood, his massive frame thrown backward by the force.
At that moment, Sword Demon flew over, looking at John and asking, “Kid, do you need help?”
“No need!” John refused directly. Thunderstrike was strong, but he could handle it.
“Nine Heavens Sword!” He swung his longsword, releasing a massive sword beam that tore through the sky, resembling the fall of nine heavens, slashing fiercely downward.
“I’m not Sword Demon’s opponent, but I don’t believe I can’t deal with you!” Thunderstrike roared back, his spear surrounded by endless bolts of lightning. His momentum was just as overwhelming as John’s.
Boom!
With a loud clash, space shattered as John and Thunderstrike were sent flying in opposite directions, evenly matched in their power.
“Such a hassle!” Great Bear’s voice rang out, slightly impatient. With a swift wave of his hand, he struck down at the Thunderstrike, who had been sent flying.
“No!” A voice full of despair echoed as the space trembled, and Thunderstrike was instantly crushed under Great Bear’s palm, dying on the spot.
John watched this scene in shock and couldn’t help but ask, “You just killed him like that?”
“What else?” Great Bear said casually, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. “This guy betrayed me, and he got what he deserved.”
It was all because of Thunderstrike that Great Bear had nearly lost all the powerful forces of Forest City. Killing him was already showing mercy.
Great Bear retrieved the Heart of the Continent dropped by Thunderstrike and tossed it to John, saying, “Thanks for your help this time. Consider this a token of appreciation.”
This was just a normal Heart of the Continent, something The Overseer could refine to increase their cultivation.
John wasn’t satisfied. “I just saved all of you, and you think a single Heart of the Continent will settle everything?”
Great Bear glanced at him, nonchalantly replying, “Didn’t I give you three complete Hearts of the Continent already?”
“That was something we earned,” John said, displeased. Although Great Bear had secretly assisted them, their success was still largely due to their own strength.
Great Bear ignored him and turned to Sword Demon. “Take account of the losses this time.”
“Understood!” Sword Demon responded respectfully.
The battle was now over, but both sides had suffered heavy losses.
Sini and the others were already collecting the spoils from the battlefield. These individuals were all seven-star and eight-star experts, so there were plenty of treasures to gather.
Sword Demon didn’t stop them from collecting.
If John and the others hadn’t helped, they would have been dead long ago. Picking up some spoils was nothing.
“Kid, let’s talk inside the city,” Great Bear said, turning to John with a calm tone.
Before John could respond, spatial fluctuations rippled, and in an instant, both of them disappeared, reappearing in Forest City.
Forest City had already been destroyed.
However, this was within Great Bear’s World-in-Hand, so restoring it would be a piece of cake for him.
But the soldiers and adventurers who had fallen in battle within the city could no longer be resurrected.
“Ah, those poor souls,” Great Bear sighed. Although he didn’t think highly of their strength, they had been the backbone of Forest City.
This time, the losses were staggering.
He turned to John, then spoke. “Human, how about joining Forest City? I’ll give you a high-level city. No, I’ll give each of your companions a high-level city, and a complete Heart of the Continent for each of you!”
To win John over, Great Bear offered him what could be considered the most generous terms.
Moreover, in this battle, with the death of seventeen Lords of Advanced City, including Thunderstrike, he needed to replenish his forces quickly.
“High-level city?” John was somewhat surprised upon hearing the promise.
In the Realm of Chaos, a high-level city was a prestigious place, a domain that could command thousands of people, with substantial resources under its control.
However, he shook his head and declined. “I appreciate the offer, but I have other matters to attend to. I can’t stay here.”
He was worried about the safety of the others—Anna, Ada, and the rest, including Nature God. He didn’t know if they were alive or dead, and he needed to find them as soon as possible.
Great Bear wasn’t surprised by the refusal. He sighed and said, “No matter when, Forest City will always welcome you. Also, you saved Spoorate’s life. If you ever find yourself in danger, you can always ask me for help.”
“Thanks,” John said, his eyes brightening.
Forest King was a nine-star powerhouse, one of the top figures in the Realm of Chaos. With the support of Forest King behind him, John could feel a lot more secure.
With the situation in Forest City resolved, John planned to take his leave.
“Wait, there’s one more thing,” Great Bear stopped him, his tone turning serious. “If I’m not mistaken, you’re also one of The Heaven’s enforcers, right?”
John nodded without denying it.
During his battle with Thunderstrike and the others, he had been forced to use The Heaven’s power of laws. Any strong individual would have been able to tell.
Great Bear continued, “You’re from the Initial World, aren’t you?”
The Initial World?
This was the second time John had heard of it.
The first time had been during his fight with Mountain Ghost and Butcher. They had also mentioned this place.
John suspected that the Initial World was the world he had come from, and there had to be some kind of secret behind it.
He couldn’t help but ask, “What’s so special about the Initial World?”
“You don’t know?” Great Bear nodded, as if understanding. He explained, “The Initial World is the first world created by the Creator God. It is also a masterless world. All the other worlds that came after it evolved from the Initial World. The problem that the Creator Gods and The Heaven discovered was that their created worlds couldn’t sustain too many powerful individuals. If they did, the world would collapse. So, they had to regularly eliminate some of the strong ones or exile them to other places, like the Realm of Chaos.”
“Realm of Chaos? Here?” John suddenly realized something, his eyes wide with shock. “Are you saying that the prisoners here, even if they haven’t resisted The Heaven, are still exiled here?”
“Yes.” Great Bear said with a mocking expression. “The so-called Heaven criminal? They’re just a group of sacrificial pawns, especially The Overseer. They can perceive the laws of Heaven and threaten Heaven itself, which is why their existence is not allowed.”
John frowned deeply, not expecting such a massive secret to be hidden here.
Great Bear continued, “The Initial World, however, doesn’t have this issue. It’s ownerless. If it is refined, one could become the new Creator God and forge a new Heaven’s law.”
John understood immediately. If his identity were exposed, he would undoubtedly become the target of all.
The temptation of the Initial World and the title of Creator God was far too great.
He couldn’t help but recall the final battle, when he had slain the proxy Creator God.
It was possible for him to become the new Creator God, to reshape Heaven’s law. Unfortunately, he had been exiled to this Realm of Chaos.
Seeing John’s unease, Great Bear continued, “Don’t worry too much. In fact, the laws of Heaven within you can be completely concealed. All you need to do is elevate The Overseer to five stars.”
“Five stars?” John’s face twisted in difficulty. His current level with The Overseer was only at the late-stage of three stars. The further one progressed, the more resources it required, and there was no way he could achieve it in a short time.

She, too, was a Heaven enforcer, but she wasn’t even an Overseer. Reaching five stars would be far more difficult.
An idea crossed John’s mind, and he couldn’t help but look at Great Bear.
This guy’s World-in-Hand controlled numerous complete star domains. It was possible that there were large quantities of the Heart of the Continent within his possession.
Great Bear, noticing John’s gaze, sighed helplessly before speaking, “Kid, I can help you and that girl. I can even fully assist you in obtaining the Initial World and becoming a Creator God. But there’s one thing you need to agree to.”
“What is it?” John immediately became alert.
Great Bear was a nine-star expert. If he couldn’t accomplish something, it was certainly no trivial matter.
Looking at John, Great Bear continued, “Help me destroy the Church of Light.”
“Church of Light?” John exclaimed in shock.
The Church of Light was as formidable as the Celestial Vault organization.
The Celestial Vault organization could easily dispatch a Black Magicians army, and one of them would be a nine-star expert, almost annihilating Forest City. The powerful figures behind it were certainly numerous.
And the Church of Light was of equal standing to the Celestial Vault. One could only imagine its strength.
