The Mole’s original plan was to have someone from Forest City eliminate Golden Tiger. But now, this human had completely disrupted his plans.
Slap, slap…
Suddenly, the quiet prison was pierced by a series of crisp slapping sounds. A calm voice followed, “Brother Mole, what are you doing sneaking into The Heaven Prison at this hour?” The Mole’s body trembled slightly. He nervously swallowed, forcing himself to calm down. He looked at the newcomer with a forced smile, “Big Brother, what brings you here?”
The newcomer was none other than Golden Tiger.
The entire Golden Tiger City was his World-in-Hand. Although The Heaven Prison was an exception and outside of his control, when the Mole sneaked into The Heaven Prison in the middle of the night, Golden Tiger noticed right away.
What’s more, Golden Tiger had secretly imprisoned a Heaven Enforcer here, surrounded by his tight surveillance zone. Any anomaly would be detected immediately by him.
After the Mole entered the prison, Golden Tiger followed him silently.
“Hmph!” Golden Tiger snorted, his eyes cold with murderous intent. “Mole, I never imagined you would betray me!”
“Big Brother, please listen to me!” The Mole panicked, “I was just curious and came in to take a look. I promise, this matter won’t leak to anyone.” He was in a hurry. The people from Forest City hadn’t arrived yet, and he couldn’t break ties with Golden Tiger just yet.
“So, you were the one who leaked the location of the Heaven Enforcer I’m keeping in the City Lord’s Manor secret chamber?” Golden Tiger’s voice was ice-cold, and a heavy black sword appeared in his hand.
City Lord’s Manor secret chamber?
John, who had been listening to their conversation, immediately deduced that the person being referred to was Sini.
The Mole’s eyes darted around. He was well aware of Golden Tiger’s methods. In a flash, he disappeared without a trace.
“Earth Evasion!” John gasped in surprise. He instantly recognized the Mole’s technique. To his astonishment, the Mole had already reached 100% mastery over the Earth Element’s laws, and had transformed his body to fully integrate with the Earth Element, mastering the Earth Evasion technique.
“This is my world. Can you really escape?” Golden Tiger sneered. His sword slammed into the ground with a mighty thrust.
Thud…
Blood sprayed out, and the Mole let out a pained scream as his body shot up from the ground. He turned to John, his voice cold. “Human, didn’t you say you’d cooperate with me? Why aren’t you taking action?”
He wanted John to interfere with Golden Tiger, giving him a chance to escape.
The Mole didn’t believe for a second that this human could stand up to Golden Tiger. His plan was simple: escape Golden Tiger City, hide for a while, and wait for the people from Forest City to arrive.
“Mole, you’ve truly disappointed me.” Golden Tiger sneered disdainfully, completely ignoring John. With a single motion, he swung his long blade, attacking mercilessly.
“Damn it!” The Mole cursed, finally realizing that he had been set up by Lincoln and John. “Big Brother, even if you kill me, the people from Forest City won’t let you off!” He had completely torn his ties with Golden Tiger, no longer hiding his intentions. Two dark blue daggers appeared in his hands as he attempted to block the incoming strike of the long sword. Bang!
With just one blow, the Mole was sent flying across the room.
He was no match for Golden Tiger, but he dared not leave The Heaven Prison.
There was still the suppression of The Heaven’s power here. If he ran outside and into Golden Tiger’s World-in-Hand, he would certainly die.
“You despicable human, aren’t you going to make a move? If I die, you won’t escape either!” He glared at John, who was still standing calmly in the prison, an amused expression on his face, and cursed loudly.
“Mole, stop struggling. We’ve been brothers, so I’ll give you a quick death!” Golden Tiger scoffed, his long sword howling through the air as it came down again with overwhelming force.
The Mole gritted his teeth. He would never surrender. He used Earth Evasion again, disappearing in a blur.
He knew that Golden Tiger wielded The power of laws, and that Earth Evasion was ineffective
against him. Instead, he turned and fled toward the prison where John was.
He wanted to force John and Golden Tiger into a confrontation.
Boom!
A loud crash sounded as the reinforced prison door was blasted open.
“Kid, I’d advise you not to try running.” Golden Tiger coldly warned, no longer paying attention to John. His sword was still aimed at the Mole.
At this point, the Mole had been driven into a corner, with nowhere left to retreat.
“Golden Tiger, do you really want to push me this far?” His eyes turned icy, and with a wave of his hand, a faint blue mist spread through the air-a poisonous attack!
John immediately moved to protect the two women, pulling them out of the prison.
“Die!” Golden Tiger roared, sending a slender figure flying backwards, crashing heavily against the wall, blood pouring from his mouth.
Whoosh!
A flicker of movement, and Golden Tiger was suddenly standing right in front of the Mole. He didn’t give him a chance to rise. Stepping on his chest, he raised his long sword high, its cold gleam shining ominously, imbued with a powerful force of The power of laws.
“Big Brother, don’t kill me! I… I’ll make up for my mistakes…” The Mole trembled, his voice full of fear as he begged for mercy.
John frowned as he watched the scene unfold.
He had originally planned to let the two of them fight each other, hoping to reap the benefits while they destroyed each other. He knew the Mole wasn’t a match for Golden Tiger, but he hadn’t expected him to be so pathetic.
If it weren’t for the Mole, John would have no chance against three peak Seven-Star fighters. It seemed like he would have to intervene.
“It’s too late!” Golden Tiger’s expression remained cold, and with a swift motion, his long blade came crashing down.
Clang!
At that moment, a small stone flew through the air, striking the sword and saving the Mole’s
life.
With a gleam in his eyes, the Mole seized the opportunity, his two dark blue daggers thrusting forcefully toward Golden Tiger’s legs.
Golden Tiger’s face changed slightly. He hastily retreated. He was well aware of the deadly poison on the Mole’s daggers. Even he couldn’t afford to take it lightly.
“Human, do you want to accompany this guy to the grave?” Golden Tiger’s cold gaze fixed on
John, his anger surging.
The Mole rolled and quickly scrambled to his feet. He spoke hastily, “Kid, thanks for the help. I’ll see you another time.”
Without waiting for John to respond, the Mole once again activated Earth Evasion and fled
toward the exit of The Heaven Prison.
Golden Tiger hesitated for a moment but immediately pursued him.
“Lincoln, take care of the others.” John quickly ordered, then rushed after them.
“Big brother, be careful!” Spoorate warned, her voice filled with concern, but they were too
weak to be of any help.
Boom!
A thunderous sound erupted as the Mole, just as he was about to escape The Heaven Prison, was struck down by Golden Tiger’s fist.
This was his World-in-Hand, a domain where he was the absolute overseer. The Mole was no
match for him here.
With just one strike, the Mole was severely injured. At this rate, death was inevitable.
Suddenly, the sound of fierce combat echoed from the entrance of The Heaven Prison. John
appeared, cutting down a group of soldiers stationed at the door, and snatched up two
longswords.
The Mole’s eyes lit up. He quickly rushed forward, shouting, “Human, didn’t you say we could work together to kill Golden Tiger? What’s the plan?”
“Heh, Mole, do you really think that if this human were a match for me, I’d have locked him up in The Heaven Prison?” Golden Tiger mocked, steadily closing in.
The Mole swallowed hard. He no longer held any hope, but now he had no choice but to rely
on John.
As long as this human could temporarily hold Golden Tiger off, giving him a chance to escape,
he would be safe once he left Golden Tiger City.
But Golden Tiger still seemed to be ignoring John.
Whoosh…
A powerful gust of wind swept through, and an immense pressure descended, pressing down
on both of them.
“Big Brother, what’s going on?” A startled voice rang out as two figures quickly approached.
The commotion finally alerted the other two vice-city lords in the city.
Black Panther and Blood Wolf-both were also at the peak of Seven Stars. Seeing the bloodied and battered Mole, Black Panther’s expression changed in shock. “Big
Brother, why are you attacking Fourth Brother?”
Golden Tiger coldly replied, “He’s betrayed us. He’s colluding with this human, joining forces
with Forest City to try to destroy us.”
“What?” Blood Wolf exclaimed, clearly unwilling to believe it.
His brows furrowed as he turned his gaze toward the Mole, coldly asking, “Fourth Brother, is
what Big Brother said true?”
“Hmph, now that the truth is out, I can’t be bothered to explain,” the Mole gritted his teeth, then turned to John with a cold look. “Human, you’ve ruined me this time. You deal with Golden Tiger, and I’ll take care of the other two. We’ll each go our separate ways.”
His eyes gleamed with cunning. While it might seem like he was at a disadvantage facing two opponents, Golden Tiger was an Overseer, and this was his World-in-Hand. Even more peak Seven-Star fighters wouldn’t be able to take him down here. Moreover, with Black Panther and Blood Wolf, he had a real chance of escaping.
“Fine!” John agreed without hesitation, seeing that this suited his plans perfectly. The Mole, afraid that John might back out, immediately charged at Black Panther and Blood
Wolf.
“Second Brother, Third Brother, don’t let this traitor escape.” Golden Tiger reminded coldly, then charged directly at John.
However, he didn’t intend to kill him.
John still had great value to him. He had already lost Sini; he couldn’t afford to let this human get away. This one couldn’t be allowed to cause any more trouble.
“Human, surrender now!” With a thought, Golden Tiger condensed The power of laws into a massive net, which descended rapidly to entangle John.
“Hmph, do you really think I’m afraid of you?” John sneered, his expression full of disdain.
He, too, condensed The power of laws, and with a swing of his dual swords, several beams of
cold light intersected and slashed at the massive net.
Boom!
There was a violent collision as Golden Tiger’s net of The power of laws was instantly
shattered.
“Huh? You’ve been hiding your strength?” Golden Tiger’s brows furrowed slightly, his gaze
turning cold.
“You think this level of power is enough to be my opponent?” Though surprised, Golden
Tiger remained dismissive. John might be able to challenge other Seven-Star Awakened Ones,
but before him, he was no match at all.
Boom, boom, boom…
Golden Tiger no longer held back. Thunder rumbled through the air, and overwhelming pressure spread across the battlefield as he invoked the power of his World-in-Hand.
“Die!” With a furious roar, a massive black hand formed, exuding an aura of destruction, and
it slammed down toward John with terrifying force.
John looked up at the colossal hand with a mocking smile. This was nothing but the most
basic of The Overseer’s techniques.
Whoosh!
A resonant hum of sword intent filled the air as John gripped his swords with both hands, lifting them high. Chaos Force gathered around him, and a strange power surged. “Creation and Destruction!” With a furious shout, he brought his longsword crashing down.
The sword’s aura howled as it tore through the air. Everywhere it passed, the space itself
shattered, aiming directly at the descending black hand.
Boom!
A thunderous explosion shook the heavens as the enormous black hand was instantly shattered. The air around them surged with a violent wind, and space itself began to distort.
However, the rifts in the fabric of space quickly closed, and the world returned to its original
state.
“Huh? What a solid world!” John was slightly surprised. The World-in-Hand created by Golden Tiger was surprisingly similar to the one he had forged using Chaos Force.
